The Globe Inn in Aberdeen City

Really good central location. Hotel staff really good. Rooms lovely. Beer good and so was the full breakfast.

Went to the Globe last night for a meal before the theatre. Got off to a shakey start as they had no trace of my booking. Luckily they found us a table though although they were very busy and we had a lovely meal. There were 4 of us and all had something different and every choice was delicious. The staff were lovely and very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Globe. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because of the mix up with my booking but will definitely be back.

Only stopped by here for a couple of drinks. Busy place and the food that was coming out did look good. Will stop by again when in Aberdeen

Excellent venue for a gathering of former work colleagues. Good menu and big helpings to counteract the falling down juice.

Nice place to come for lunch when in town. Quite a good variety of food on the menu and reasonable prices. The staff are nice and friendly and the service is excellent. Recommended.

Tasty Steak Pie and great friendly service

We stayed there for 1 night and had a breakfast also. Hotel was nice and clean, staffs are friendly. Beers, food and breakfast are great.

Right in the heart of Aberdeen, no more central than here. Unfortunately we were there for a wake but to be honest. It's a great bar, the service was excellent and the buffet was none to bad. All round good time!

Went for Xmas lunch.. Lovely pub but the food wasn't great!!.. Prawn cocktail was okay but the turkey was like Turkey Roll (chopped and shaped) not proper carved turkey was very disappointed considering the price.. Others at table weren't impressed with the Rump either!!.. Then had a a £20 service charge on top!!.. 7 at table!!.. Definitely wouldn't recommend the Xmas lunch.. Maybe just our personal taste but not for me..

Friendly, lively, haven't tried the food, but what I've seen being served, looks great. If your into sports, there's big screen TV's. Good place to meet your friends, and have good 'down t'pub' experience . Seem to attract a naturally friendly crowd, and it's dog friendly.

It's been awhile since the last time we had a meal here. Went with my children, service was quick warm and friendly. Food was really well cooked and flavoured, will definitely recommend

Pub + hotel al piano di sopra in occasione di un viaggio con amici: cosa chiedere di più! La posizione è ottima, leggermente decentrata (perfetta per chi arriva in auto) ma in pochi minuti a piedi si arriva facilmente in centro. Abbiamo parcheggiato in strada senza difficoltà. Camera piccolina ma accogliente e sufficiente pulita. Avevo chiesto due letti singoli e sono stato accontentato. Sorprendentemente silenziosa nonostante si trovi appunto sopra un pub. Colazione altrettanto ottima, inclusa nel prezzo. E poi la birra...buonissima!

Ein Pub mit einigen Zimmern sehr nahe an der Innenstadt. Gemütliches Ambiente und guter Service. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag ein paar Drinks und dann ins Bett fallen.

Überaus sehr freundliches Personal. Essensauswahl ist gut, Qualität in Ordnung. Die Zimmer haben alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Tee/Kaffee, Kühlschrank, Duschgel, Shampoo, TV und sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Pub ist nett eingerichtet und gemütlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Aberdeen mit einem ausgesprochen netten , aufmerksamen, hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Personal sowie leckerem Frühstück. Wir waren drei Nächte dort und können das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Cosy pub with a great quiz on Monday evenings. A little pricy but the food is really good and staff are always lovely.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Very good "BBQ Jackfruit burger". When I asked for a local Whisky, I got advised to go with the "Fettercain 12 years old" and it was one of the smoothest whiskies I've had in Scotland! Very good suggestion by the bartender!

So nice to stay at The Globe with its buzzing bar and popular restaurant. The staff were really friendly & helpful. Will return , and recommend to anybody looking for great value, clean and comfortable Hotel in a central location .

Very lively spot! Its hard to give a bad review because we loved the Globe Inn. Great breakfast, excellent dinner. Fun pub atmosphere. As somewhere to get a good night's rest if there was no noise it was a great spot. Hard to have both under one roof. Our friends room was on a lower and he left before dinner because of the noise. No option for refunds what so ever. We checked in at 3:00 and he left before 6:00pm and no option for refund of ANY kind. I don't know if it was our poor judgment to not read into it or not. Great lively establishment - not great for a resting place.

Sehr gut gelegenes Pub mit Hotel. Sehr sauber und die Zimmer sind ordentlich ausgestattet. Trotz Großstadt ruhig gelegen und dennoch ist man schnell im Zentrum der Stadt. Im Biergarten kann man gemütlich sitzen. An Wochenenden ist mit Betrieb zu rechnen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Bed'n'Breakfast: Good beer, good food, nice atmosphere. The bed room was old, the mattress was completely wasted (you lay literally in the springs), but clean. I would come back, when the you upgrade the beds. Thank you for the nice service.

Nice pub and very well keeped cask beer

It's good. My favourite is the Caesar salad as the chef has achieved an excellent balance of the grilled chicken flavour, the lettuce and the dressing. Good assortment of Cocktails, beers, and if they do not have the cocktail you want, they'll make it for you if possible

Good drinks & food worth a look

Great pub to visit: Friendly and with good food. But, it can be busy and very noisy if you’re staying over.

Needed some food while exploring Nuartaberdeen and passing here it smelled good so in we went, we shared a seafood platter that was top notch and grabbed a couple of drinks too. Not expensive at all for the quality wilp definitely eat there again.

Great place to stay, eat and drink. Comfortable and immaculate room. Excellent selection of Scottish beers and other drinks and good pub grub. Very friendly and helpful owners. Quiet location though minutes walk from Union St and venues. Highly recommended.

For now only 4 stars as I have not have a chance to try food. I believe this place is worth 5 stars and I will happily increase the next time I am in there with friends. The staff is very friendly with great customer skills. My friends an I very much liked this place and for sure we will get back there soon.

Hotel is good, the food in the pub is to be avoided. I’ve never eaten so poorly: a burnt bun with overly salty meat qualifies here as their “signature burger”. I understand that good kitchen personnel is hard to find, but this was just not good. The hotel rooms are small but comfy and good value for money except that I did not have a hot water in the shower, so the rating is a mix of the pub (⭐️) and the hotel (⭐️⭐️⭐️)

In the past I have had really good food. This time ours was not so great. The mac n cheese had no flavour at all such that even my 5yo mentioned it. The fish and other dishes were better. Only 2 of our 6 were having a starter so asked if we could have everything brought out together, since we also had kids with us. The manager told us this was madness and were we sure?? It would take longer for food to come. That's fine we said, a bit taken aback by his attitude. A mere 20 minutes later all our food came. Service other than the manager was good.

Fantastic cosy pub/hotel, food great especially pre/theatre menu. Beds comfy and great shower, breakfast full scottish recommended, facilities amazing and Paul n staff couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable.

We went here yesterday with my mum and 2 friends before going to the theater. Very,very friendly place staff was amazing very helpful and attentive. We all had the pre theater menu the food was amazing and served very quickly. 5 stars all the way would highly recommend. Ty

The globe is an excellent pub, service always great, a great selection of ales. Plenty of space, nice little beer garden, and it's set down a quiet road away from the frenzy on the main streets.

Usually go to the Globe on a Monday night because they do a pub quiz for the casual quiz goer, it's not overly serious and so it is quite fun. The bar itself is nice, the toilets are clean, the food is decent enough and the staff are always really friendly. Great pub for unwinding with a few pints and good chat with good friends.

Am disabled and have problems moving about , staff at the globe are so helpful and very friendly it was a pleasure going there .had the most gigantic , juiciest piece of haddock and chips I have ever had , fantastic place to eat in and one of the friendliest , loved it and would very happily go back any time It doesn't look all that big from the outside but is huge inside and I was easily able to get in and move my disability buggy about without upsetting anybody which made my visit so much less stressful , and I felt very at ease with the very friendly and thoughtful staff , looking forward to going back again xx

Fantastic pub just off the main drag. Went in and had the pre theatre dinner. Bargain is not yhe wprd for it. All I will add is portion says ix large, bit if a food monster like me...... Food was absolutely amazing and the staff were brilliant!!!
