Starbucks in West Lothian

From bad to worse in a month. 2nd review, please see previous. This coffee stop has had no white sugar for days. Today, 12th Oct, has no brown either. So, NO, SUGAR what so ever. Absolute, no excuse for that.

Drive though review only. This Starbucks is in a prime spot, however not run at its potential. I think IMO, the staff are young and inexperienced, not enough training, and certainly not enough care taken on orders. 1 out of every 5 orders are correct. Seems a lack of management/direction. Very frustrating when you drive away then drink your latte which is a cappuccino, or your double shot which was meant to be a single shot, or your caffeine coffee which was meant to be a decaf. (Possible health risk to customers with heart etc complaints). More care and attention required for sure. Prices standard to most coffee shops.

Lipstick on my mug and there was no white sugar available. We got an "oh, I'm sorry about that" but that was it. The coffee and rolls were ok but we won't be going back as we've lost faith in their hygiene.

They don’t know how to make a coffee !!!! That’s not a soya latte!!! If I want a cappuccino next time I will ask for one !!! If I pay for a latte I will like to have a latte not a cappuccino! Really disappointed.. I’m a regular one and that’s disappointed…

Came for coffees & breakfast at 7am on the dot, greeted with warm friendly service. Breakfast wrap was delicious, and the café was bright and spacious with sunlight pouring through the large windows.

Too slow, not enough staff, and the ones that were on duty didn’t seem too interested. Hit drink handed to me without a collar. It’s not difficult to get the basics right.

I visited on Saturday 25th September and the gentleman serving was so rude and dismissive of customers. No chat just demands. The girls were all really nice and if he’s like this with customers, I really hope he isn’t like it with the girls that he works with. In all fairness I didn’t even see the staff chatting with each other which was strange.

Staff are poor hence service is poor and standard of drinks poor. Get the right Batista's and this would make all the difference !!! Wouldn't return.

Very poorly coffee ....again and my husband’s Caramel Machiato far to sweet They are not properly trained ! And I was asking for a Latte not a Cappuccino

Really disappointed... coffee very watery And my Soy Latte was cold and I really think that they was using a old Soya Milk .

Every day i walk from Winchburgh just to have a coffee. ( a good coffee) Coffee has been made awful for 3 days in a row. The milk is not foamed ( creamy) properly, the coffee shot is dead (only 10 seconds the coffee shot lives) . this is learned in training! , if I gave such a coffee to a client I would die of shame! 2 girls from there know how to make coffee .... properly, unfortunately I don't know their name, but it's the red hair girl and the blonde girl short with eyelashes. 😭😭😭

It’s my local but the customer experience is getting worse! In my last three visits I’ve been overcharged, albeit by a couple of quid and refunded later sane day- but the wait for two drinks is becoming ridiculous! They serve you one and you always have to chase up the second despite there being ample staff on, (4 today) They appear to focus more on the drive through customer than those waiting in the shop! Top Gear Top Tip - Try “walking” through the drive through - it’ll be quicker !!! 😉👍

I often visit this starbucks in the morning after dropping my child off at nursery and I would say that they have around 50% success rate for my order. This is generally how the conversation goes at the drive through. "Hi can I take your order?" "Hi there, can I have a Grande Americano with milk and Caramel please?" "Did you say coconut milk" "No just normal milk and caramel please." "is it caramel syrup you want?" "yes" They produce a black Grande Americano with Caramel.... I also had one brutal situation where I ordered the same thing and they went to hand me the drink (without taking payment) and said "Latte" as they handed it to me. I handed it back saying that it was not mine. They asked what my order was again and I repeated it. They had given it to someone else. They then asked me and I am not exaggerating this in any way, 4 more times to clarify my order and at the end of it they handed me the Latte again!!! I will stop going here because it's not worth the hassle to try and help people who make coffee for a living try to make coffee.

I record the best customer service from the baristas, they were very helpful. I stayed in for about 4 hours and made a few purchases during this time. They were happy and very welcoming to all customers

I never leave reviews but thought I would give Jamie the review he deserves. Super friendly and helped me decide on a Christmas drink. Couldn’t say no to the Christmas bauble cake either.

Excellent, Staff are first class, friendly, efficient, great prices, GREAT drinks, snacks. Drive through or sit in or even outside in the sunshine. Perfect place to stop off.
