Don't stay for 2 drinks and a chat with friends, you won't have enough time! You will get a £100 "Parking Eye" fine. Little in the way of really obvious warnings. Get your coffee some where else where you can park without fear of a big fine. Terrible.

We went for coffee and cake after our run. But was surprised to see they had no vegan or gluten free cakes options. These days that's poor from them. The bloke that served us didnt seem to care about it either. So we just had coffee. Went Costa last week and they had plenty of vegan/gluten free cakes. We know which coffee chain to use in future.

AVOID!!!! Fined £100 for parking at Starbucks can honestly say I will never visit again. I didn't see any signs in the carpark or in the the shop, the staff didn't mention anything either, a complete scam!!! I will be contesting it.

Beware parking limits! I met a friend for coffee who I hadn’t seen for a while. I waited in the car park for her then we spent a while chatting and buying overpriced drinks. We saw or heard nothing about parking limits, to find we have been slapped with £100 fine. This is crazy, come on Starbucks, get this sorted out!

I have informed them that I was a customer at the time and the car park was empty. I feel their charge is unreasonable especially considering the form of communication makes it out to be a fine. They have lost me as a returning client and I will not recommend to anyone.

Visited on Friday with my elderly mum, daughter and granddaughter. Mum is almost 90 and very poorly. She was unable to stand at the counter so she sat down at one of the tables while we tried to order. I`m gluten free and there was nothing at all for me to eat other than a dry cereal bar. I ordered 4 coffees, a tuna panini for mum and my granddaughter had a cookie. The whole thing came to just under £23. Mine and mum`s coffee was barely warm and not pleasant. We waited ages for mum`s panini and eventually we saw the assistant place one on the counter. My daughter went to collect it but returned without it. When I asked where it was, she said that another customer had taken it instead of his own order which was still sitting on the counter. No one asked him to bring it back and we were told that mum would have to wait for another one to be cooked. At that point I asked for a refund. Mum said that she`s have a cake instead, and as she can`t hear very well and there was quite a selection I escorted her to the counter to choose one. It was a struggle as she isn`t very mobile. When we got there all the cakes had been removed from the display. I asked where they were and was told that they were cleaning. They did not even attempt to tell us what cakes they had so mum got nothing to eat. Absolutely outrageous service, and as my partner pointed out when I told him later, the man that took my mum`s order could have had a fish allergy and collapsed after eating it. There`s no way he should have been allowed to just take my mum`s order that she had waited for all that time. I`ve never experienced such awful service and it wasn`t cheap either. Bad enough that I had to go hungry, but my poor sick mum who only ventured out in the first place to see my daughter try on her wedding dress, was treated horrendously. Won`t be going there again!

I've been to many different Starbucks branches and this one is by far the worst. Most of the staff seem not to give a toss . Everything is done half heartedly. They don't clean, they don't smile and they never get my simple order right. I keep trying in the hope they've improved but I give up now. I'll be going elsewhere in future

So I’m off to now pay £20 to clean my car as they didn’t put the lid on properly and it’s went everywhere, need to put the cream in after the lids on so the seal isn’t awful this is standard no?

Starbucks needs to do something about the over zealous parking firm. So much for encouraging people back into the coffee shops, car park says' free for customers' but it seems you stay over a certain time limit and you are charged big money !! Most expensive cup of coffee I have ever had and it was my first time to a coffee shop to meet my friend after lockdown, we had a lot of catching up to do. I never knew there was a time limit in drinking coffee. BEWARE. Starbucks DO something.

Twice in two weeks we've attended this drive through. First time we must be been in the queue for 15/20 minutes and the staff just looked chilled and unfussed....not bothered about the queue and made no apologies for taking such a long time for two coffees. Returned today thinking maybe it was a bad day but no...4 staff....not bothered not making any real effort, not moving quick to try and get the waiting queue of cars down, waiting another 15 mins and all for two coffees. There's was only 3 cars?????won't use this place again. Totally unprofessional and the opposite of what a drive through is about. Starbucks...motivate your staff or loose em as they weren't fussed.

Been to this store multiple times and it’s randomly closed (you turn up and there’s just a cone in the drive thru and they are closed, I understand this may happen occasionally due to things being broken etc but this has happened multiple times in the last few months), ran out of pumpkin spice 7 days after it came back in stock, all around just bad experience and badly run store. Will always go to Corby or Kettering A14 even though it’s out the way. Perhaps under bad management but time and time again been disappointed so will not be returning

Just popped into today with a friend and wasnt too pleased. The place was cold and uninviting, even with social distancing something could be done. Service was ok but 2 cakes and 2 drinks were expensive. However it was the general cleanliness of the place that got me. For start the tables werent clean, asked twice to get in sorted but the employee wasnt impressed that we asked. The floor needed a good sweep. There was a dead wasp on the floor and there was cobwebs on the windows and hanging off lights. Once we left we had to dispose of our own rubbish, which is fine but the bin was overflowing. I barely fit my bits in had to play tetris to get in it. When we told the employee she just struggled her shoulders. I understand that is hardwork and they are doing their best, but a manager should of noticed the cleaning. Cobwebs dont appear in a day especially ones that thick.It has put me off from going there. So I will save my money and petrol and stick to the coffee shops in the town.

We dropped in here for a snack on our way back to our hotel after a day's touring. We opted for the tomato paninis. The place looked clean and tidy and the chairs were reasonably comfortable, bearing in mind that this appeared to be a place where people take away rather than eat in. There were few other diners. Despite its not being busy, the two young ladies seemed distracted - probably by the drive-through customers. One collects meals from the counter rather than having them served to the table. The paninis were tasty and hot, but the cutlery provided was plastic, making it difficult to cut the panini! I'm not sure why stainless steel cutlery is not provided?

Sadly, this Starbucks is a let down. The staff hardly ever seem to find the time to clean the tables or the floor, yet when I visited last, the toilets were all closed for an hour to be cleaned so were unusable to the customers. Perhaps if the staff would stop chatting to each other on their head sets they might have more time to serve customers and clear the tables of dirty crockery.As a previous reviewer has said, as time is now of the essence due to the threat of £100 fine, it would be nice if you could be served quickly but when the barista is chatting to her mate for 10 minutes while you stand waiting, it can be quite frustrating.Also could do with them remembering what you ordered between writing it on the cup and actually making it, I've had to get drinks corrected many times and drinks recipes don't seem to be made consistently.

Arrived, carpark rammed as it is too small for number of customer spaces inside. The ANPR clocks you on arrival not once parked, so spent a while waiting for a space, fairly slow service , which I don't mind when having a relaxed coffee, but I do mind a £100 parking fine for being 90minutes, when 15-20 of it was trying to get parked, and trying to find a non existent ticket machine. Go elsewhere, avoid parking tax.

This starbucks is located right near the woods, cracking place to stop after a dog walk. Staff are always fantastic even if a little rushed. Dog bowl outside and even gave the dog a Puppuccino(a little cream for the dog)

Slow service, not that helpful or interested, tables and floor dirty, ripped chair with stuffing hanging out, poor ambience. 5 staff on shift no queue I waited for ages to get served. I think they are overpriced for what they are. Not a good selection of teas, looked at me gone out when I asked if they had Chai Masala. This is the second time I have been there to meet friends and it was the same on both occasions I won't bother again.

Starbucks usual service, offering a range of treats and eats, great range of coffees and many other drinks, including tea. Fresh cakes and a great breakfast selection.Big bonus on this site is the Subway, Spar shop and Greggs, plus fuel. The Starbucks is also a drive through.

I was served by the most loveliest young lady Lucie who works at the Starbucks in Cineworld at sixth fields. (I do not know if this is the correct Starbucks I am referring to) She helped me pick a suitable flavour of frappicino as I was being quite indecisive.

I'm not sure if one of the ladies had had a bad day! We did arrive a couple of minutes before closing time, and she was a bit abrupt asking us if we wanted take away (which indeed we did, hot drinks for the next leg of our journey)While she was making them the other staff member appeared who was like a ray of sunshine, chatty and friendly. It was quite comedic watching the two of them really as one was smiling happily where the other was frowning grumpily, and even rolled her eyes at one point! They had allergen information easily available and gluten free was no problem. Our drinks were made just as we asked for so not much more to say really.

Stopped in to Starbucks while my car is charging. I waited 10 mins to order my coffee and I am still waiting to drink it. This is nothing but appalling. With 3 people behind the counter it should be quicker but the constant chatting and disruptions from the drive through window is making this visit painful. If I didn't have to wait for my car to recharge I would have walked out 15 minutes ago.

Visited here on two consecutive mornings as i was staying in the neighbouring Holiday Inn Express...used the drive through or should i say crawl through...service was slow from start to finish. First morning i think a new member of the team was working the till as he struggled to print off a receipt, second morning pleasant enough staff but again very slow and not too much of a queue...coffee was ok and pastry was as good as any other Starbucks. Pick up the speed and this place would be so much better.

Went here for a business meeting. Out of the 3 drinks I had whilst here 2 of them were served in dirty cups. One including lipstick. How this wasn't spotted when pouring is unbelievable

Been to this Starbucks a few times both in the inside of the place and through the drive thru on the way to places. The coffees and food are nice as you'd expect from Starbucks. The staff inside are friendly and helpful and it has a nice atmosphere.

Stopped off for a coffee on a hot Sunday afternoon. First impressions were poor with uncleared outside tables and litter strewn entrance. Ordered 2 flat whites from a disinterested staff member - no greeting, no ask if I wanted something to eat, no thank you. Inside was as dirty as outside despite 3 staff being on duty with more uncleared tables and lack of presentation standards. My wife cleared a table outside and I went to order.

I've been in here a couple of times. On each occasion it was a job to find a table that was clean and uncluttered with someone else's dirty plates and cups. It has all the ambience of a coffee shop next to a petrol station, which is exactly what it is. Really poor.

Visit when going to middle child's football . Service a little slow and doesn't seem to be enough staff . Staff are always busy but with only one or two staff to deal in store and drive though it seems they need more staff . Staff are always polite and friendly and will write anything you ask for on your cup lol . Coffee good and love the choice of flavors

I went for a quiet coffee, the atmosphere was subdued but the staff seemed preoccupied with the running of the drive-thru. It took about 10-15 minutes to get served (only 1 person in front of me) and when I got the the counter, the coffee machines and counter areas were CAKED in a thick layer of dust. I wrote in it. I hope they get the message. The toilet was spotless. I went to sit down - tables full of other peoples empty/dirty cups and rubbish. They can't seem to keep on top of the clearing away or just simply don't care.

3 staff working behind the tills...Me, my husband and 2 year old went in, nobody else inside but staff took 5 minutes to take our order, instead paying more attention to the window and drive through whilst one lady stood doing nothing but having a chat to the guy in the drive through.

I can't understand the negative reviews on this place. I go at least 2-3 times a week and use both the drive through and the restaurant and have had faultless service every time. The manager is lovely and the staff are always friendly and take time to have a chat. I will keep going back!

I don't know how anyone can say they have bad service its ace every time I go. The staff are friendly, helpful and I never wait long for anything I order and I go 4 times a week on average. I highly recommend it and the manager is just lovely always above and beyond and I always bring friends here and they all agree with me. Wifi would be a bonus its the only thing missing x

Starbucks Kettering is my favourite spot to get a great latte. I have to admit I am shocked by the bad review I have read regarding Starbucks especially since I have frequented this establishment for some time and I can't fault the staff or the cleanliness of the coffee house. The manager is by far the best I have encountered as his customer service is excellent, he always speaks to us and even remembered our names which makes it a touch more personal. The staff are friendly and polite, it's the little things they do and it's never an effort for them. Someone is always moving about cleaning up after the customers and making sure everything is in it's place. I couldn't recommend Starbucks in kettering enough. If you want a great coffee with excellent services then this is the place to come.

Visited twice within a few days and have been shocked by such poor service. With hardly anyone in there, the staff were still unable to get our order right. There was very little effort made to apologise or put the order right. The staff have really bad attitudes. Shame because it could be nice and Starbucks is usually great.

This was my first visit to the Kettering Starbucks and it wont be my last!! Great coffee, polite and friendly staff & great range of food and merchandise products! Calm and quiet place to chill with family, friends or on your own. Will definitely be returning..

I had a bad experience at this costa today, I was in line and the people in front of me allowed me to go in front of them as I had cold food and they all were waiting for their hot food. When I was served (by the manger I assume) she was very condescending and tried to explain to me how a que worked (sarcastically of course) and then when I later purchased a panini she undercooked it by 3 minutes (as a costa worker myself I am aware of how long they go under for) I then return the panini without a refund and left. Just because she was older than me doesn’t mean she should have spoke down to me, I hope her service improves so she can be an example to her staff, and not an example of bad customer service

Ignore some of the previous reviews. The pub has been taken over and refurbished. It's kept the old character but now clean and tidy with hard flooring with the original lovely, old brickwork on show still. Excellent choice of beers. Simon the landlord and his team are a very friendly, welcoming bunch. Plus dogs allowed now too. Definitely mine and my partners favourite local pub now!

Been coming here for years and been really happy with the food and service. I am sorry to say I won’t be back. Very poor service and the food wasn’t as good as it used to be, dry fish mainly batter small portion of chips & curry sauce. Wasted £11.60. Never again
