Starbucks in Peterborough

Very cold welcome from staff. They could barely muster a smile and a grunt after I said good morning. We actually find it funny as it happens every time we go in for coffee.

No toilet roll disgusting and inside the actual toilet right by where food is served. Not very hygenic and gave key back to staff

A great branch, very clean and inviting.

The young lad who works here hasn’t a clue what’s going on , constantly gets drinks wrong , what’s the point of him

Great service inside as well as when in the car. Electric charging available if needed

What a shame, this used to be our go to coffee shop and gave it 5 stars 3 years ago. On the last 4-5 visits the difference has been noticeable. Staff are rude and the notation of service with a smile is a distant memory. I think we will be using Hampton Starbucks for our micro dates from now on.

This type of outlet does not look right in this area a branch of Greggs or Pound Bakery would make more sense. I wonder how many of the locals who go to this branch think going here makes them middle class?

(Orton Centre Starbucks) very unprofessional staff members- not friendly or welcoming. been a regular customer for over six months and can say not much has improved. staff seem like they do not want to be there, manager also seems like hes tired from providing good customer service

Train station and great for snacks and drinks before getting a train.

Nice place. Its a shame they got rid of the plants, but it's still somewhat cozy

Order was due at 10.35 to 10.55, driver arrived to collect order at 10.30, order received at 11.20. Drinks were cold.

Just had a chai latte with coconut milk. Was awful. So sickly sweet! Couldn't drink, complete waste of money! Was so disappointed. Would have returned had I been in-store.. Reviewing drink only. Was bought home for me.

The worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Waited at the till for 10 minutes whilst 3 staff members talked to each other on their headsets but did not acknowledge my existence. There was no apology for the wait , just “what can I get you”. Whilst waiting 3 drinks were returned as wrong. Absolutely shocking

Lovely place staff helpful and food is very good plenty of choice for coffee and drinks.

Mankind has sent people to the moon and yet this Starbucks are unable to maintain and fix a door so that it closes. It’s beyond words pathetic. You can sit here enjoying a coffee and virtually every time someone walks in they leave the door wide open so you sit here freezing. The manager needs to contact a tradesman who can come and fix the door hinge - this is not rocket science

it was terrible the place smelled they misgendered my girlfriend as a lesbian and i am very disappointed. drinks were average my girlfriend is lacktoes intolerant and they gave her a cup of milk and then she threw up but all in all costa for the win

Drink was made the way I like it. Staff was miserable and just stood on their phones not acknowledging the queue of customers

Been using this Starbucks now for years, ever since it first opened. There’s a drive through, plenty of free parking and 2 electric car chargers. It is starting to get a bit run down now but it’s nice enough. The manager is really friendly and helpful but seems like there’s a high turnover of other staff members.

I've been coming to this starbucks for over a year now and the service is always top notch. I've noticed Kamilia has never failed to provide an excellent professional service and she always makes the coffees taste great whether it's busy or quiet. Keep up the great work it doesn't go unnoticed. Thankyou

They were very rude and didn’t allow my daughter to sit inside with her friend in the pouring rain even tho she bought a drink they kicked them out for ordering water and told them they didn’t care and gave someone free water whilst they made my child pay £2 for a cup of tap water

Toilets aren't good at all... Can't answer on the service.. but toilets need to be tended to , alittle grubby.

Service was abrupt and womens toilet has been out of use for the last two weeks.Had to use disabled toilet which was messy and not clean.Very disappointing visit.

The delivery was fine, wrong food

I ordered ice mocha with skimmed milk. Coffee tasted sour and I got a food poisoning the next morning!! The place is not clean especially the toilet.

There was a big mix up with our order, HOWEVER I wanted to thank the lady at Starbucks (Orton) who took responsibility to put this right and had a replacement sent out to us quickly. Thank you so much for all your help, which was very much appreciated and restored our faith in Starbucks. She was extremely lovely, kind, professional, all that good stuff and I hope that Starbucks appreciate how great she is. Thank you!

I Want to iterate I have never had this issue before with Starbucks but the milk in it was gone of, tasted sour and smelt out of date, I had to throw it away as 1 sip made me nearly throw up, Very upset about it to be honest

Customer service was poor. The person who served me didn't greet me, say thank you or please.

Few times visited, however most of the times we experienced with poor customer service.

I NEVER GOT WHAT I WANTED. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE DRINK OR THE FOOD. I AM TALKING ABOUT MORE WORK. SADLY I NEVER GOT IT AND NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY, I NEVER GOT IT. WHAT IS THE POINT.

Airy, roomy place. Fairly busy at rush hour (morning when i vidited). Had a long meeting, no hassle, staff friendly. Like most drive through stores no nice outside (or inside) seating.

I use this Starbucks regularly and I’m very happy with the fast and good service. The staff is kind, especially the manager, and they seem to work very hard. Recommended.

Came in just before 1 on a weekday, not very busy inside, couldn’t have a mug so was offered a takeaway cup, sat down and noticed several empty tables that hadn’t been cleared hence no mugs, get more mugs, tidy the tables more frequently, staff were very polite and pleasant

Got delivered the wrong drink ordered a venti cappuccino and when it arrived it was a small coffee very unhappy

Sadly as far as Starbucks go this one isn't quite up to standard. Often ordering in advance to "skip the queue, so the rewards" often means your still have to wait 15+ minutes to get the drink you pre-ordered. Also my friend ordered, and even asked and they confirmed, that they'd given him a white americano to only find when he got to drinking it that they'd mucked up his drink order. Sadly this sort of thing happens a number of times. Sadly again ordered ahead and ended up waiting nearly 15 mins for my order, people who arrived after us even got their drinks before someone bothered to make our order.

Regularly out of food and alternative milks. For such a big brand I wouldn't expect there to be such supply chain issues.

Visited this Starbucks whilst travelling with work around a fortnight ago. Unfortunately not a good customer service experience. The female servers attitude when placing my order made it uncomfortable. She was abrupt, and unfriendly. I genuinely felt that she didn't want to be there, which whilst I appreciate she maybe didn't - should not be something the customers are made aware of.

Deliver was absolutely lovely. The best deliver I’ve ever had. On time, correct house and a thrill to talk to. Thank you so much.

The girl who was making the coffee - the attitude was horrible! I was asking do they have card I can purchase as a gift to give away, she said NO, even I found it is next to the cashier by the end! What a experience!

Sent me substitute items instead of just cancelling my order. Who wants porridge when they've ordered a panini?! A muffin instead of a brownie and even the wrong flavour crisps. Put two chocolate coins in with a note to say they tried to call. No missed calls on my phone or I would have told them to cancel the whole order. What a joke.

My chocolate shortbread biscuit was placed under my hot cheese toastie. This caused the chocolate to melt off leaving caramel on biscuit. My chai tea latte tastes like hot milk, I had order an extra shot of chai but doesn't taste like any was put in to start with. Very disappointing as this is my normal drink order at my Normal starbucks.

Don’t bother coming here if you want cold brew, they never have it! Since summer time I’ve not managed to get it once! Why is it on your menu if you never have it?! Just awful!

The food and drinks were good, but the cleanliness isn’t the best and the customer service was very average. The bathrooms need a good clean and there were a lot of flies throughout the store. The whole store needs a deep clean!

Have had bad experience from this branch in the past. Popped in reluctantly today as my daughter nagged me ...and glad I did. Professional and smiling customer service from a young lady named Tina. A little ray of sunshine in a place that is normally rude and gloomy.

Ordered a VEGAN breakfast sandwich and got a CHICKEN wrap. For someone with dietary restrictions and allergy's this is absolutely ridiculous. Now left with no breakfast at all and all I get is a refund in 7 days. Ridiculous

Very slow at serving both times recently when I went there. Took nearly half an hour of waiting for one coffee. Then 20 mins with only one person in front . They seem more bothered about serving drive through customers and ignoring those in the store . Staff didn’t apologise for any delay or say sorry for the wait etc . Barely said two words and don’t seem very friendly staff - Apart from the bloke that works there - he was polite and friendly . At almost £4 a pop for a coffee. I won’t be going back ! Shame I as I like Starbucks coffee but get better service and price in greggs !

Myself and my partner are regular customers of Starbucks- we love their coffee! This branch seems to like overcharging though - not applying gold member discount or blue light card discount.Purchased 2 x latte today and charged £8.20 - asked for the receipt in the drive through and the person serving us handed it over, then quickly closed the serving window. Make your own conclusions from that behaviour? Last time we will ever visit Orton Starbucks - there are other and better outlets in Peterborough!

Standard new purpose built Starbucks with a a drive through. All ok. Not easy to re-enter A1 as a very short entry road.

Rubish.toilets are descusting terrible service and realy should be shut down ! Vile place put me off going to starbucks staff were rude and took more than 1 person to make a drink.

Nice clean Starbucks with two EV chargers, which is conveniently located the A1 at Peterborough.

Coffee is good, they are getting better, good value. The staff are friendly.

Ordered a Hot chocolate drink to sit in but for some reason got it in a takeaway cup despite saying twice I'm sitting in. And because I was sitting at a table with a takeaway cup, had a Karen giving me attitude expecting me to give up my seat for her. Drink was nice but looked nothing like the pics and not worth the £4.45 price tag. I've had better hot chocolate from Aldi.

Went today well the service was awful, the servers were rude and didn't help one of the girls struggling who was serving us, she was a little rude herself. The manager just fobbed her off. They were all miserable no one was smiling and using customer service skills. The food was awful. The only good thing were the hot chocolates and the muffins. Will not be going there again will use hampton or the one near morrisons in future

Great friendly service, coffee not terribly good but about standard for Starbucks.

My recent experience on Saturday at 10:30 was unacceptable. The drive thru line was long and I decided to enter to order two coffees. I placed my order for two coffees and stepped aside to the waiting area. Twenty minutes passed and still none of my order or the order of the person in front of me was prepared. Because of an appointment that I was going to be late for if I waited any longer, I decided to leave without my order being delivered. There was no time to cancel the order or ask for a refund as the staff appeared to be severely unprepared or capable of tending to orders. This was ridiculous and is something that needs to be corrected for overall efficiency.

This particular Starbucks needs much more improvements , especially on the WC s , as they are broken and the doors on the Ladies toilets dont close and my daughter struggled to use them . And their payment systems are always malfunctioning. Always nice drinks , but service not great .

Used the DT. Very poor service. No chai tea made with tea bag. Worker (blond girl) said we don’t do it anymore. Maybe you just don’t order it? No tissues , no sauces with food given when I’ve asked. Very poor management. District manager should check this store and make sure store manager and supervisores do there job properly. Situation happened on Sunday 4th of July between 9:30 am - 10:00 am.
