Starbucks in Brentwood

The tea was a bit weak. It wasn't busy about 4pm but the bin was full and the semi-milk jug was almost empty (enough for 2 or 3 more cup of tea). There was some rubbish on one table outside area. The rubbish was left there for the duration of my time there 30mins+

It's the coffee shop that stays open the latest in Brentwood, so we often go over late afternoon on a Sunday, after all the shops are closed for a coffee and a puppachino. Always has a nice atmosphere. Staff usually engage more with each other than customers, but the big wide/high counters in coffee shops makes it difficult for anyone under 6ft to hear anything or have a polite exchange.

Very disappointed as the cake was slightly stale did not feel freshly made. Croissant was asked if wanted heated but declined but when started to eat realised it should have been heated as not very good. Hot Chocolate was nice flavour but could have been hotter. Overall not enjoyable. Expensive for what it was.

Staff are not keen to help. Not a friendly place to be in. Loud and untidy place although it wasn’t busy. Ash trays in ALL outside tables was an invitation to make the outdoor seating only for smokers. Not sure if smoking is allowed in public places in the UK nowadays. All in all was less than average. Coffee was ok. Cakes was fresh May think again about alternatives before visiting. C

Apart from the place being filthy, the staff was so unfriendly and condescending. This isn’t the first time either. Please train your staff on how to deal with customers in a polite way. We will never return

I went to that Starbucks and it was dirty, even though there were almost no customers. Tables full of dirty cups which previous customers left. They overcharged me away more than the actual price of coffees even though they're the most expensive coffee shop in London, England. Even if you catch them they still insist that there's nothing wrong to overcharge you. I should've called the police as that's not the first time.

Absolutely filthy in there, not one table to sit at that wasn’t covered in cups and plates, drink stains up the walls and down the bin. Unfriendly staff! Been coming here for years never seen it like this.

Went to order few drinks for my work. While waiting in line, 15mins later been told. The wait will be 20mins for food and drinks as they cant handle the orders from ubereats or whatever.... if they cant handle it.. then why use it? Or either close store and focus on the app orders??

Visited every day for the last week and every time something not available. Today no skimmed milk at 12pm afrer waiting in que for 20 Mins. No coconut milk too so walked out. Staff attitude cery negative and tbh rude!

Went here on Monday and the coffee and hot chocolate where nothing special, but what stood out was how dirty the place was, dirty table and chairs .

came in here today and was faced with extremely rude staff & slow service. very disappointing considering it wasn't busy at all :(

Attempted to pop in today for a coffee, as I walked in I was shouted at loudly and in a very hostile manner by the gentleman behind the counter, to wait outside and that only 4 customers were allowed in at a time....odd because i counted 6 in there, maybe he run out of fingers on one hand? I get sticking to rules but maybe like other establishments, have someone on the door to greet and politely ask customers to wait. On my way out I did notice something stuck on the door about 4 customers but when i entered my glasses had steamed up so I really didnt see it. Bawling at customers in an aggressive manor is just not acceptable. Anyway needless to say i didnt wait outside but went elsewhere for my drink...where my custom was appreciated!

Average Starbucks with terribly slow service. Brentwood is hardly Oxford Street, and baring in mind it's a max of 3 people in-store at any time (other clients, today around 10, have to wait outside), with three staff on duty you would think they would be fairly quick? Wrong. The service is worse than pre-Covid as they act like the queue outside isn't there. Each time I have visited there has been one staff member doing nothing, whilst the other two serve with little speed. Rather than stand around doing nothing (or chatting with the guy other guy doing nothing), the guy on the bar should help his colleague on the till and start making the drinks as she takes the order rather than waiting to be handed the cup sleeve.

Perhaps it’s been because Starbucks haven’t been open during this pandemic until now, but this visit and Soya vanilla latte purchase was one of the best. Tasted right on the money. Excellent observation of the social distancing measures too from the staff. Queueing conducted in an orderly fashion. Thanks!

This Starbucks used to be a good, friendly and pleasant venue for coffee and a snack - it was my "place of choice". Today however, and disappointingly, it is dingy and feels unloved. The service could be better and the place could be cleaner/tidier. The coffee and snacks are standard Starbucks and are what you would expect. This is not a coffee shop where you would linger over a good coffee. I tend to go elsewhere.

Typical Starbucks coffee shop in Brentwood High Street. Staff ask you three times what you want because they aren’t paying attention then serve you luke warm coffee. The shop is dirty. Floors were messy, tables un cleaned and full of used cups etc. Clearly badly run or understaffed. Poor representation of the brand.

In this Starbucks you will be greeted by friendly and helpful staff, although sometimes there may be a queue staff do try their hardest to get you served as quickly as possible.
