Starbucks in Camden

Probably the worst customer experience ever encountered in London. Rude, ignorant, impolite staff - who even prioritised getting a KFC delivery ahead of serving customers. Don't even get me started on the extortionate pricing in there. Whoever is the manager of that store needs to get rid of the individuals who were on shift 11 Oct 24 at around 1800. Definitely not spending any further sheckels in that horrendous outlet.

Arrived at the big train station and was a little disoriented with huge crowds all around. So it was a pleasure to find this familiar coffee store to get some refreshment and to sit for a few minutes.

Not like a usual starbucks in terms of efficiency. Nice people but very slow and unsure. Beware if you are ordering while hoping to catch a train- have been left several times for far too long missing the train because the order has been lost.

I asked twice for soy milk in my latte and i kept getting dairy milk. I am lactose intolerant and this made me very ill. Careless staff

Since my daughter is a Starbucks employee, we went to a number of Starbucks locations during our recent travels through Europe. This one was fine. What we liked most about it was that it was a warm place to sit while waiting for a train. The bakery items were not fresh, and we were there in the morning.

Granddaughter and friend went in to order an iced peach tea just before our train was due whilst we waited outside. People went in and came out with their drink....ordering long after our girls had ordered...girls waited and waited and waited after ordering still no sign of their drinks. Missed our train and after 35mins....YES 35mins of waiting my partner went in to see what the holdup was??? told the staff behind the counter that the girls had been waiting a very long time and that we had missed 2 trains to which she replied "There's no need to be rude...they could have cancelled their order" Only noticed then, that at member of staff was hurriedly making up 2 peach teas which had been completely forgotten about!!! Don't accuse customers of being rude when the fault is with you, and an apology would have been more acceptable! Youngsters in these places always seem to be on the defensive instead of just accepting they struggle to get their act together!

I normally love Starbucks matcha latte but I was let down today. After the first attempt got my order completely wrong they made me another. I asked for oat milk as I have a cows milk intolerance and vanilla syrup (so paid extra) the drink I got as I had my first sip on the train was bitter and had no syrup and was cows milk so I couldn’t drink it. Staff need to be more careful as I could have gotten sick if I drank that and I’m annoyed I spent over a fiver for nothing!

I went with my partner and parents on our way back from a day out in London. We ordered 3 coffees. One arrived quickly the other 2 took almost 20 minutes to arrive. These were only take away coffees nothing fancy. We let the woman behind the counter know we were in a hurry but still lots of people received there drink before us. This delay caused us to miss our train. Very poor service. I do not recommend

Good service and the place seemed very clean. I would pop in again. The Starbucks seemed well managed and was very busy

We had 15 minutes to catch our train but this Starbucks crew took less than 5 to her us in snd out with three hot sandwiches and two drinks. Crew worked well together in this teeny tiny Starbucks. Plenty of seating outside and upstairs if you need it. But we had to run! Thanks for getting us out in such a timely fashion!

Really polite and kind. I had to rush and waited for the manager and another colleague to sort out an issue quite long. He quickly saved me and made my white chocolate.

It is a good meeting spot to meet friends or just out of station grab a cup of coffee on the move, very handy and practical.

Used this Starbucks several times a year or two ago and there was plenty of seating. Now the counter has grown to take over virtually the whole space. Hardly any seats now. Many are at very small and narrow high lever bar type tables. Everything else was okay, fairly quick service, coffee and food okay (but coffee nothing special). Service competent but not particularly friendly. I was so annoyed at the lack of anywhere much to sit and so little space.

If it were possible to give a review lower than 1, I would. The staff were awful! I counted 8 members of staff, only 3 customers and all the staff did was stand around and laugh. The only person serving was too busy laughing with her colleague, I had to remind her to serve me. The rest of the useless team of 7 then didn’t bother to make a simple tea. Again I had to remind them I had a drink, stood waiting for them to come to their senses before they checked for themselves to see I had a drink. USELESS STAFF! Appalling service. I had 10 minutes before my train was due to leave, thanks to their ineptness I missed it. I see now why there are so many appalling reviews.

Shocking service, miserable staff, dirty space, over priced pish. Also how surprising how a shop that has a very small product list can get it so very wrong.

Always take a break at this Starbucks. Although there is plenty of seating throughout the station, sitting at a cafe is more convenient if you have business to do (like me)! Normally not too busy in here compared to other cafes which are more popular- but you can never go wrong with Starbucks. So if you're undecided, don't waste time, chill here for classic coffee & snacks.

As part of a business trip, I visited London St. Pancras International to board the Eurostar to Brussels. All the signage was clearly marked with the directions to the EuroStar Terminal. I took in the loverly historical train station and its many, many shops and restaurants. On the way through, I took the opportunity to grb a Hot Chocolate for my journey - Starbuck do a great Hot Chocolate.

Bad service all round - The place feels dirty & smells. Staff never eager to serve & pour the coffee in the cup in a second never letting the milk settle. at £3.40 a cup I expect a nicely made coffee. Not here you won't.

Its in a place that has lots of visitors and should perform better but it struggles, plays on its brand name and offers nothing but slow service.

Simplemente detuve para comer 2 tés y sándwiches. Desayuno inglés con soya, Earl Grey con leche. Aparentemente, pedirles que escupan es una petición más adecuada. Aparte de los vasos de papel cuando pedí que entrara (10 p más ... lo sé ... pero aún así), el hecho de que hay 2 tipos de leche deja el servicio perplejo. Los 3 pasos que se necesitan para llegar a nuestra mesa sin gritar como un perro el bocadillo que ordené. El hecho de que no pudieran pegar a mi compañero de sandwiches en un plato. La superior como sas sirvieron a mi pareja cuando ella pidió ayuda con el código del inodoro. Ah, y si este 12. 04 el viaje no había terminado, estaban en las tazas equivocadas de todos modos. Ve al pret de al lado. Esto es un desperdicio de su tiempo, paciencia y dinero. No garantizaré un mejor servicio, le garantizo que no tendrá esto.

En una fría tarde de octubre, mientras esperábamos nuestro tren a Sheffield, buscamos un lugar para tomar un café y queríamos un café en una taza de porcelana, no en un vaso de papel. Decidimos probar Starbucks. Estaba increíblemente ocupado, pero nos las arreglamos para encontrar un par de taburetes. Café encantador y un gran ambiente y tazas de porcelana. Un buen resultado!

I think everyone in St. Pancras was in Starbucks at the same time we were. Amazing they got everyone served so quickly. We were able to finish our breakfast and make our train.

I use this Starbucks because, unlike its close neighbour across the road in Kings Cross, it takes mobile ordering and also has seating. There always appears to be plenty of staff on and room for the queue as well.

Although very busy, we were able to find seating easily and saw no one having to stand around - perhaps Sunday is an easier day? Unfortunately no cups only paper ones - understandable really.

Standard Starbucks with no problems getting the drinks right and the service was very quick. Good to call in for a caffeine hit if you've gotten up extra early to pay that cheaper train ticket fee ;)

...but not unsafe. It's a weird experience being in a Starbucks in the small hours, but the St Pancras station branch is a 24-hour joint, and we were waiting for a coach to take us to an early flight from Stansted, so it seemed the place to go. The usual Starbucks basics, but this is not a branch where they want you to make yourself comfortable and settle down to doze for hours. Stark benches and stools are the order of the day, not comfy leather sofas. On the night we were there for two hours, one bearded tramp sat trance-like, but upright - presumably a learnt skill, nursing a cold coffee, while others stared at their laptops or simply gazed listlessly at the sporadic passing activity. Because it's a day-and-night haunt, the police visit regularly, which is reassuring. There was a chap who looked like Jim Broadbent, two Chinese lasses with a pile of luggage twice their size, and an intense geek tapping at a keyboard. Only one minor incident, involving Daniel. Now, Daniel must be a regular. He slunk in when the staff were looking the other way, his hoody pulled up high over his face, and limbo'd round the restaurant cadging coins until one of the servers spotted him. "DANIEL, GET OUT!" Daniel got out. It also woke the tramp. Two 'medium' teas were £2.35 each, so you can calculate the mark-up imposed by the we-pay-no-tax moguls in the States. Unit cost? 2p. Rat pack music plays, loudly. Another reminder that you're not supposed to use the place as a temporary hotel. So, to Nice n Easy Does it, we left.

Friendly service which was very quick. The coffee also tasted amazing and was piping hot. Very good service!

Wie een aanhanger is van deze keten kan hier dus terecht voor zijn/haar kopje troost. Je weet op voorhand wat je te wachten staat als je hier binnengaat. Er valt dus niets over te vertellen.

La chaîne bien connue de toutes les capitales propose ses spécialités et cafés... comme partout... J'y prends mon café en je m'en vais en ayant profité du wifi.

Questa catena non ci piace proprio, ma eravamo alla stazione ed avevamo sete. Quindi prima di partire abbiamo preso una bibita e un bicchiere d'acqua in questo posto. E' proprio questa l'unica consumazione che possiamo fare in questo locale. Hanno caffè e cappuccini sempre cattivissimi e anche il resto non è da meno

This is one of the nicest and roomiest Starbucks that we have ever been in. Lots of large chairs to sit in and the room was warm in a very cold station

Tout est dans le titre, on y retrouve les classiques du Strabucks, c'est plutôt bien tenu... bref rien de ouf mais ça dépanne quand un sort de l'hôtel en ayant bu un horrible café à l'eau marron lors du petit dèj.

I have to say the staff at this location of Starbucks is really well trained. They are able to move really long lines of people through in about 10-12 minutes. When I arrived and saw the line I nearly left. But I stayed and was surprised how quickly I was served.

Unfriendly staff and an utterly disgusting toilet. Ok, it was busy but Starbucks often are, that's little excuse for such poor service and absolutely no excuse for not keeping the loos clean or adequately lit.

Were sat at this Starbucks as we had a long wait for our train, and I ordered a drink when we got there - staff was friendly and fast. A while after I'd finished my drink, my boyfriend and I were still sat there when another member of staff came over and asked if he could get us anything. I was prepared for a "order something or get out" speech so I mentioned that I'd just finished my coffee - I was wrong. He said "oh no, nothing like that - we just want to make sure every one of our customers are happy and we do provide this kind of service so if you change your mind about wanting something just let me know okay?" I was so surprised. That's how you keep customers!

It must be gratifying when you work so hard to build the brand then a young woman cares nothing of it nor the fact that you pay her to work in your excellent business. I guess she isn't trained to look in to the far distance while asking for my order; nor to dispense with please and thank you; nor to lay her head on the till while waiting for my credit card to go through, while staring at her colleague. If you want to throw your reputation down the drain, keep her on the books. The massive name badge makes it memorable for me.

There might be more than one SB at LKXSP station as the description of another reviewer does not match that of the one I was at. This is a small service off sale SB. QueuIng system where a guy takes your order at the beginning of the queue, writes your order on the cardboard cup sleeve, once you get to the front, you then recite your order again to pay and then wait for to collect. After all that, warm coffee. Paid extra for better beans! Could taste difference. £3 not well spent.

The picture says it all. The filth at this Starbucks was OTT. Could not believe the utter lack for cleanliness at a place that serves food and drinks. Baristas seem to not care that they are representing the Starbucks brand. Shocked that any manager, district manager, etc would tolerate ANY place that sold food to be so utterly dirty. It made my skin crawl. Had to walk over trash on the floor to get to the straws. Every table dirty. Every rubbish bin overflowing. Sticky, dirty floors. Dust on shelves. Dirty windows. Unclean prep area. Disgusting. I've been to Starbucks all over the world over 20 years, including the original in Seattle, and I have never seen anything like this.

Large seating area here which is behind a glass window therefore sectioned off from the rest of the station. I thought it was quite warm in here but all the baristas had their jackets on.The staff were polite and professional and moved my order along quickly.Starbucks card is accepted at this location (some locations do not accept).Grande Slimmed Mocha was perfect and my name was spelled correctly :) I celebrated with a facebook post!
