Starbucks in North Lincolnshire

This is a Starbucks with all the stuff that goes with Starbucks. Great coffee but they just have to know your name. Cool and calm.

Quick coffee and catch up while it started to snow . Shaunie was brilliant this morning. She was very accommodating ☺️☺️

Fairly quiet Sat afternoon ..appreciate the impact of social distancing but the layout didn't way up we were squashed in a corner quite near adjacent tables but tables sectioned off would have been better for distancing in all areas. Poor and inadequate selection of food . Toilets would not pass an inspection Too small no toilet roll no hand towels. Not the cleanest either .Hand gel needs to be in an entrance and exit to public facilities . Staff friendly but ordered straight hot chocolate opening it it was laden with cream .so had to change that !! The amounts this cafe charges is overpriced decor poor and uninviting This is 2020 ..an unsure world so please up your game .. Jill

I've not been in the coffee shop in months so I was surprised to see the new layout of the shop. Only four table's were available for eat in customers, although even with today's social distancing policy there could be more seating made available. I was scanned and I completed the registration form on placing my order I asked her to clean the one available table as it had the remnants of the last customer's meal on the table, she did this for me but, having seen two more families get seated after each other at the same table I observed that it wasn't cleaned after each use likewise the other tables were left in the same condition. So not that hygienic after all.

i live locally to scunthorpe so when i heard about i having a starbucks i was thrilled. there was a bit of a wait to order but apart from that it was superb. i love the idea of dogs and how thay ask if you want the topping or not. i now go regularly and it has a friendly atmosphere compared to other starbucks i have visited.

We thought we would have a change from our usual coffee shop. Staff totally uninterested and hardly spoke. Food ok. You need a code for the toilet but uncertain as to why, six people who came in and were given the code had not and were not eating in Starbucks. The toilet when we could finally get in was very dirty.

Visited here on Saturday for the first time and noticed people bringing their dogs inside which I personally loved. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and chilled out. Loved it so much we returned today and took our dog with us. We were made to feel so welcome once again. Superb, friendly and welcoming staff who cannot do enough for you. And so many customers coming up to fuss our dog. Such a lovely way to spend an hour or two. Very impressed and much more relaxed and friendly than any Costa in town. We will be back soon. And often!

Visited to try one of the Christmas hot drinks. I ordered the Salted Caramel Brownie Hot Chocolate ( picture looked delicious) for me & a Toffeenut Latte for the other half. Was asked if I wanted cream on both, pictures of both drinks are topped with cream so I had expected it & presumed it came as standard. Had I NOT wanted cream due to allergies I would have said when ordering. The TN Latte was fine. The SCB Hot chocolate on the other hand was a disaster. No taste of salted caramel at all, no chocolate cream on top, just standard cream....picture shows chocolate cream & no topping to finish my drink, because they didn’t have any. Yes I should’ve complained. Yes I should’ve asked for a refund. Yes I’ve been kicking myself as I did neither. Disappointed in Starbucks High Street Scunthorpe & myself.

Tried for the first and last time yesterday. Ordered 2 lattes and asked for them to be extra hot. When they arrived they were just about warm, dread to think what normal ones are like.The coffee was also fairly tasteless.Noticed a man there with his grandchild who had ordered a coffee and after over 10 minutes had to go to the counter to remind them that he was still waiting. The seating inside resembles an airport waiting area with lots of long bench type seats which do not create a comfortable atmosphere.There is also a lot of wasted space when you enter which again dos not add anything to it. It is a shame because normally we do like Starbucks but this one is most off putting.
