Miller & Carter Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire

Was sat near the door so was cold and didn’t feel very inclusive.

The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant and our server Daniel was amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

Service and staff both excellent trying to think of something to suggest you improve would be very nit-picky and would take far too long to think of something. We were celebrating our anniversary and our steak expert had the chef's write "happy anniversary" on our sharer dessert plate which was a very nice touch.

Food was amazing we all enjoyed it , lunch menu is great value also Great service from Jolanta , Matt was also friendly and polite Would recommend

Visited Miller & Carter today for the first time and it was fab! Lovely interior, atmosphere and food was delightful. Latoya was our waitress and she was so polite, helpful and just all around great at her job. Will definitely be recommending!

Lovely couples meal, and Aimee was fantastic throughout!

We visited Friday 19.04.24 We regularly dine out but this was a gift from family as a wedding present. Very pleasant atmosphere to the place and we had a nice table with some space around it against a wall. However, I needed to brush crumbs off the bench seat before sitting down! Nice young woman introduced herself as our server and we were very quickly served with drinks. Having selected our choice from the menu we waited just a short time for our starter. We chose a sharing garlic and cheese bread which was actually served by a different person. The oblong plate was placed on the table and she left. We waited for a while to see if any side plates would appear but that didn't happen and so we proceeded to eat leaving an array of crumbs over the table. When our server reappeared we mentioned that there were no side plates to eat from but had it pointed out to us that she hadn't served us! Main course was good and we were then asked about desserts. Choosing not to have a desert we selected coffees which, according to the menu, should be served with a "buttery biscuit". No biscuit ever appeared, we drank our coffee and when our server reappeared and we told her about it she said....I can bring you one now! So they did have them, just hadn't served them. We paid our bill and left a tip in excess of 10% which with hindsight we shouldn't have done...but the payment was taken and our server disappeared, no thank you , no goodnight. A great shame but for us not a place we will return to.

Excellent food. Not rushed , it was our wedding anniversary and the staff came out with a little dessert celebrating our anniversary. Overall brilliant evening.

Everything about my experience was perfect service ,food and a beautiful setting

A great dining experience if you like steaks and other meaty dishes (obviously) but they do have alternative options if needs be, all complimented by a good selection of wines to enhance your meal. Our server Andrew was friendly and attentive.

Niki was very welcoming she engaged with us and made us feel special.

Lunch menu with small group of friends. Have visited before and find the lunch menu good value for money. Very friendly and efficient staff. Good food. Good value although drinks a bit expensive.

My first time at Miller & Carter and I must say I was very surprised how things were.... Clean, welcoming and staff were professional and knowledgeable.... Parking was good.

Once again we cannot fault the evening, food was exceptional. Macey our server was fabulous, chatty, knowledgeable and nothing was too much. Me and my Husband come in to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year and each year things just get better. Well done Miller & Carter, see you again next year

Popped in for the lunch time menu. Was good service and nothing to complain about with the food. Just a shame a meal for a 1 year old cost £10 and there were no options for anything smaller / cheaper

Love the Scunthorpe restaurant- the lunchtime deal is fantastic value and the steak is delicious. The main menu is more expensive that other steak restaurants but it is well worth it. I have been several time and most recently went with my mum for lunch and service was excellent as always.

Booked a table for 9 to celebrate a diamond wedding anniversary. Had a great night. Lovely atmosphere. Food & Service (special mention to Georgina) were excellent. Will be returning soon.

Our steak expert, Jack was very knowledgeable, friendly & attentive. The restaurant was stunningly beautiful, clean & fresh. The food was exquisite, thoroughly enjoyed, beautifully cooked & plated. Prices very reasonable. We will definitely be returning soon.

Nice restaurant and polite staff. Steak was nice - a bit pricey. Partner had sea bass and it looked a bit bland. Needed some salad/ colour and ridiculously small portion of dauphine potatoes. I had to share my fries with her!!

My first time at this steak restaurant and I will definitely visit again. We had the chateaubriand with peppercorn sauce, fries, halloumi fries and greens. The steak was perfectly cooked (med-rare) and it was tasty all round. The staff were lovely, and our waitress Macey in particular had the perfect blend of being helpful and friendly without being overbearing. 10/10 would recommend visiting.

Great atmosphere and good. Restaurant was extremely busy but service from all the staff was excellent, a special mention to Lil and Grace for great service!

Service needs a massive improvement. Booked for finances 30th birthday and staff weren’t interested at all, despite being booked and notes and making them aware. Need to have service check on your tables more since we was waiting for bill for over 30 minutes and 2 family members left due to getting frustrated. Fiancé left disappointed that the event was made to feel anything since restaurant wasn’t interested. Genuinely disappointed that other family restaurants can make more effort but miller can’t. Also didn’t bother with desserts since it was ages before anyone came to us to offer desserts and by that point got fed up and kept trying to get the bill to leave. Somewhat close to 2 hours for starters and mains ain’t great, and over 30 minutes was pestering to get the bill.

First time at this Millar and carter in Scunthorpe and it was amazing, the food was fantastic I can't complain about a single dish, the staff were so friendly and super efficient and aim to please we went for my husband's birthday as it's our favourite restaurant and this was just as amazing as the one we are used to in Grantham! Thank you so much for a fantastic experience we will absolutely be back soon!

Visited on 7th March for my husbands birthday and we had a wonderful meal. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and very flavoursome. However our overall experience was enhanced by our wonderful server, Jack. What a credit to the business. Extremely polite, very pleasant conversation and attention was just right. This type of service is hard to find these days and makes or breaks a visit to a restaurant. I hope he is informed of this review. We have never had a bad meal at Miller & Carter but tonight was just an excellent all round experience

This was once of the Best meals out I have had for a long time We ordered the Sharer Board for 2 people, which came with Two fillet steaks , a sirloin and a Ribeye, two sides two sauces of choice and the Onion fritter which were amazing , you also get a lettuce wedge with a choice of dressing on the side We had our steaks medium, cooked to perfection, the Beef dripping sauce is a must have Totally fabulous evening, with great staff and very reasonable price

Lunch time fixed price 2 course menu. 4 of us had the rump steak all medium rare. 1 was as ordered, 2 cooked more on the rare side but acceptable and 1 still mooing! This was sent back and returned correctly cooked. 2 steaks were quite fatty and chewy. Didn't enjoy at all!

Steak salty, not the greatest quality.

Had a birthday meal here with my wife. Meal excellent and service very good (Georgina). Might have to go here again before my next birthday as I have a 4 year wait. (29th February). Would certainly reccomend, lots of choice and didn't feel rushed.

We all did the lunch 3 course menu. Starters were exceptional!!! The value was great. We did complain the onion loaf was cold but fresh ones were with us within seconds. Steaks were served the wrong way around and the puddings were a little disappointing. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Would have given 5/5 if these issues were improved upon. However I would return and I recommend it to others.

We opted for the Specials menu. Two courses. Our waitress was Georgina . She was absolutely outstanding in her care skills. We both had ribs which were delicious then to follow my partner had the apple crumble and I had the profiteroles ( I don’t normally eat desserts) delicious.beautifully presented. As we had a £40 voucher to spend I expected a much higher bill (£45.30 for 2 of us) this included 2 non alcoholic lagers and a Virgin Pornstar Martini. Really enjoyed it . Service was good and attentive. Starters were lovely. Huge gap between starter and main. The server informed us there would be a delay as there was a problem with the gas in the kitchen. My husband's steak was not cooked as he had asked, and my burger had fallen to pieces in the bun it was so dry. We were not asked, as we had been for our starters, if we were happy with our mains.

Not my first time dining at Miller and Carter but the one I would use to recommend anyone to coming here. The food was faultless and served quickly but what made our night was the wonderful service by Latoya. Latoya was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, giving us just enough space for a date night, and making us feel completely welcome with regular check ins for how we were doing. We had some vouchers to spend, which was an incredibly easy and non-judgemental process, and the final bill was very reasonable. 10/10 fantastic service from both Latoya and the chefs. Thank you.

We had a wonderful experience at Miller and Carter Steakhouse. The food was excellent, especially the surf and turf and the rump steak. The starters were also delicious and the portions were generous. My son enjoyed his pasta and meatballs and his fresh fruit dessert...

THE place to visit if you love steak. Good selection on the menu for all tastes, good range of wines, but all at a cost. Service is great and the decor is cosy and welcoming. Must be popular as it gets busy later, better to book ahead.

What an experience, loved it and soon as the staff found out it was our anniversary, they brought out the icecream .

We had Myah as our server for our visit on 17/02/24. She was excellent, gave us all the information we needed and even gave us an anniversary treat at the end. All in all very good.

We were served by Myah. She was absolutely incredible and gave fantastic customer service. It really made our 4 year anniversary experience a lot more special. The food was equally as good. The food was absolutely excellent, first steak I’ve had out that’s actually been very good, the service was brilliant and speedy, our waitress Aimee was great at explaining the dishes and offered us a very enjoyable experience we will definitely be returning !
