Staff are lovely and very attentive and listen carefully to your order. A lady in front of me was struggling with her card and they came round and helped her, taking her through the steps she needed to do.

Lovely clean shop used the public toilet in here whilst I was In extremely clean! Staff very friendly and polite to customers!!

Lovely and relaxed atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Courteous service and of course my favourite latte was as good as ever!!

I absolutely love coming to Starbucks at the Bridges! The drinks are always 10/10 and the staff are super friendly and helpful! I enjoy coming to try out the limited edition drinks, couples/friend dates and even for a little time on my own to study or read. It’s a fab place to chill with friends or on your own and the staff are so lush to chat to. When visiting a few weeks ago the store had non stop Taylor Swift playing and as a Swiftie, the music vibes were immaculate ✨ The store is always clean, I never have any problems with substituting my milk for oat or coconut. I love it so much I recently become a Gold member (slay!) Cannot wait for pumpkin spice season!

I visit every morning before going to work. Staff are so knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and friendly, always happy to help. Staff like Serif, Leanne and Austeja are great examples to giving all their customers the best quality care and service as well as always having a happy smile and positive energy! They are the blueprint for all other Starbucks to follow by their example and experience. I would actually probably give them more than 5 stars if that was available.

I visit this store 2-3 times a week and the staff are always so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I also buy my coffee beans weekly and they know my grind specifications without having to ask. It's like the modern day Cheers, of Cheers were a coffee shop

Sunderland staff is absolutely amazing. All staff are warm and welcoming. Leanne fantastic customer service skills. Always asks how you are and how is your day going definitely brightens your day up. Amazing coffee and cake.

I'm boycotting now that they have stopped cash payments, which is currency discrimination. I've read online they say its for hygiene and theft reasons to stop the staff pocketing money, what a stupid excuse as the tables are not very clean and what's stops them pocketing the snacks etc in that case. I will go to costa or nero from now unless this changes.

This was my last disappointing visit. Now they have gone to card only, I could not buy. Up to now I have paid cash and would top up my gift card so I could also use the one along Ryhope Road. This is shutting folks out that either don't have a bank account or a card they can only use at the bank. It should be a choice card or cash, so I'm not buying from starbucks anymore.

Never read the notes on orders so always get them wrong. Three times in a row.

I gone to the place my order at the till I am look at whats app that my daughter sent me the same drink I was trying to bring in up and the manger who was standing in he said hurry up telling me to be quick and he side u got be fast I got a Queue and rushing me and very Disrespectful And his attitude was appalling. And as I was waiting for my coffee and drinks. He was banging on the counter to tell people to heavy up. Not good at all we are pepole that pay he wage Have a respect for customers and no one come and Apologised, I said sorry. And nothing, not even a free drink to apologise. I felt so ashamed.

Came on my dinner for a quick pick me up and Leanne was lovely! She's a breath of fresh air after a busy morning. So polite and such a calming voice. She is an assest to Starbucks!

Older member of staff with white hair has a stinking attitude. Needs customer service training grrrr

There were lots of dirty and cluttered tables. We ordered our drinks and staff said they would shout us. There was a customer causing a distraction and, along with other noise, it was really hard to hear. At one point, I went to check on the drinks and was ignored. I tried again 5 or 10 minutes later and our drinks were sitting there for everyone else to brush up against. We'll stick to Costa.

Luke warm, wishy washy coffee at an extortionate £3.35 a cup, but the worst offence is they don't accept cash. Unbeknown to me my wife paid with her card - I'd have told them to stick it where the sun don't shine, but there you go.

Dirty tables always, crowded atmosphere, no relaxing vibes & bad customer service. My advice is to use Starbucks app to order when its the old lady shift to avoid dealing with her as this is what I do now till I move out from Sunderland!!

Poor customer service, whenever I see the old lady white short hair serving I know my mood is going to be ruined. Never smiles, no respect, yells at customers, lies about preferences I use all my life & in so many countries use to order this way and she tells we don’t do that, keep giving comments about everything ( we never used to sell cheese croissants here..) ( I am not heating it anyway ) & so much more…, have to repeat the order hundred time just because she is not fast in typing and I get it wrong anyways.. telling we are closing soon a hundred times rudely just because she wants me to leave so that she cleans the tables before time and run to home. Tables are always dirty, I rarely get my drink tasty, very unprofessional baristas approximately all don’t know how to make an iced coffee, not using measuring cups properly, sometimes coffee is less, sometimes ice very less. I always order whole milk and Baristas hide the drink and mix it with skimmed milk. I now have to memorize how each one of them do it so I rectify them accordingly. just sick of this… and guess will stop getting my daily coffee from there.. I would give zero stars.

Went for take out today. Really busy. Working short staffed and coffee machine down. But staff brilliant. Friendly. Good communication. And apologetic for time waited. Noticed they had a couple of “Karen’s” to deal with. But felt with professionally.

I have always loved Starbucks coffee and these are as good as anywhere else if not better.

Popped in for coffees with a toddler. There were 5 staff working and plenty of tables to choose from so seating with a pushchair was relaxed and easy it was 10.30am . Ordered 2 coffees (to sit in ) and stood waiting l was 2nd in a que of 2. Waited and waited , the customer in front also had to wait due to her order being wrong!! (she ordered 2 coffees.) My order arrived in paper cups lids on?? I questioned it ? Staff 1 asked my name then asked staff 2 who asked staff 3 if l ordered to go staff 3 said no its drinks in??? If they spent more time paying attention to customers orders instead of Chatting to each other they might get something right in half the time. Some of the tables were filthy too! Not be returning

Great coffee place. The store is very clean and tidy and easily accessible. Only reason it loses a star is one of the ladies working seemed to have a bit of an attitude but everyone else was great!

Nice and friendly staff but they're sadly rushed off their feet. At the weekend this place is clearly understaffed but also very popular. Thus long queues are only to be expected.

Lovely coffee, lovely Sea salted caramel & pecan swirl. Fruit toast was a write off though, was past it's due date I think as the bread was tough even after it was toasted so that spoilt my bwekfast

Drinks are great, and tasty. The covid rules are safe and secure. Unfortunately there was a woman on till who just comes across rude and like she's judging everything you say, and it makes people feel very awkward, she is an older woman with white hair, and she's really awkward to talk to

I am aware that we are exiting a pandemic and there are rules in place, however I have had my last ever trip to Starbucks. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I informed the extremely rude man that we would like to sit by the door as we were meeting someone and we sat at the table right next to the door. This man almost broke his neck to tell me we couldn't sit there even though there was no one else sitting nearby. He told us to move to the next table which we immediately did. He also repeated his demand that we scan the qr code even though we had already. There were no markings on the table to say we couldn't sit there, a d then he actually sat another lady in the seat where I had been sitting! My son arrived and walked beside the table where we were he did not sit down and this man came over again to say he couldn't sit there. I informed him from the outset that we were meeting someone. He told us we would have to move to another part of the shop We left our coffee and left the shop. All of this time there were people sitting in the window seats back to back no social distancing at all. Disgusting customer service.

Very poor customer service. Staff were rude about covid restrictions and made comments to the next customer about me being rude to them which wasn’t the case. When I ordered, the guy on the till started talking to someone else while I was halfway through speaking. So I had to repeat myself and he still got my order wrong. I ended up with a coconut milk latte somehow when I asked for a mocha. Then I got shouted at because I wasn’t standing exactly on the green circle placed for covid. I said sorry and the staff member then proceeded to say to the lady next in line he’s sick of dealing with rude idiots and it’s every day. I will never visit this branch again

Sent wrong coffee. Spoke to the manager and she wanted me to pay £5 for the correct one and refused to send the correct one out unless I do so - even though the order was right.

Post Covid outbreak/ Strange change in customer service. Entered the shop a few times since the covid. For some reason there is guy placed at the side of the queue, who always asks 'are you ok?' This ends up being an annoyance, because the woman on the till always looks and her personality changes in accordance with what you say. I simply what a coffee, i'm autistic and stressed.

It was canny although due to.covid restrictions seating greatly reduced ..you would hope.custkmers would take this into account but clearly not but staff were great and usual drinks and of course pumpkin spice is back !!

I don’t usually write reviews, however the women who served me today was horrible. I could hear her yelling at the customers in front of me, then she was rude to me, then she started yelling at a customer who clearly didn’t speak English. Another customer actually stepped in because she was so out of line! Absolutely shocking customer service.

Today we went into Starbucks and was given the worst service I've ever experienced in years of going to the store. Cards were declined and money took out of the accounts without recognition. However, we had a lovely service of a lady who helped us out and pre-ordered one of the drinks. The man behind the till didnt have a clue what he was doing and started messing on with some cakes that were already out for stock. We bought a strawberries and cream frappuccino and the strawberries were off colour and taste. The kind lady that helped us was respectful, kind and willing to help us out. Other than that I've always had a good service.
