My son and I went for coffee and cake today. Never again! The lady who served us was full of cold, coughing, sneezing and wiping her nose on the back of her hand whilst preparing our coffee it really put us off - basic hygiene surely means you don't serve food/drink with a streaming cold!?! I then visited the loo and it was like going to the toilet in a third world country. Absolutely rank! Stinky and really unpleasant all round. Starbucks you should be ashamed - you let the brand down massively! Was the coffee good? Probably but didn't really notice tbh!

The attitude of Starbucks in Westbourne, Bournemouth, staff member Marta is disgusting. who seemed to have a massive chip on her shoulder. Firstly about my own cup size and complaining that i didn't know the exact size to suit your sizes even after i told her that numerous times being there before - i always had the tall size which fits fine in my cup yet she was determined to try upselling me over and over again which i guess is drummed into them Then she was huffing and puffing as she had to re-do it for the tall size on the till. Then she said with attitude "NO CASH" and took MY CUP back towards her and her edge of the counter AWAY from me... I paid with card and I had to reach across right over to her side to get my cup and drink as she never gave it to me at all. No thank you no nothing..... This staff member is doing the business more damage than good and seem to remember her from the last time i went - very blunt, and like nothing is down to her and everything is down to the customer like proving their own cup size and choosing the correct size from your own weird labelling of sizes. I won't be using again also as they have once again put their prices up to a stupid price even more and far higher than competitors for a simple press button service

I came in for a morning coffee on a Wednesday when there were only 2 people in front of me in the queue. At the time there were 3 members of staff which had no direction or leadership skills between them unfortunately. My first drink took 16 minutes to come out, followed by the 2nd drink which took another 6 minutes. This seems to be far to long especially when the place was at its quietist.

In many ways this is a standard Starbucks, coffee is fine, a touch expensive, a range of snacks and sandwiches are available and it’s all pretty clean and tidy. However the staff are RUDE, which is a real shame. I totally understand that we are in difficult times in the service industry and they probably have their fair share of difficult customers so I absolutely make allowances for being ‘stressed’. As I am not one of those people and infact I go out of my way to be friendly and polite I don’t think it’s too much to expect that back. I notice there are a few comments on this particular Starbucks with regards to staff attitude and service and that none of them have been replied to, I think that probably speaks volumes. In future if I have to use this branch it will be for take aways only.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee and came away empty handed! After standing at the front of the queue for 5 minutes listening to the 2 girls ‘working’ complain about customers complaining about the poor service earlier in the day, I left. I think the earlier customers had a point maybe they should try serving people and making coffee rather than just chatting amongst themselves.

The staff are the best & friendliest of any Starbucks I've been to. Despite a new branch opening closer to home, I still drive another couple of miles to come here instead. Great branch, always tidy and comfortable. Never have an issue with drinks. Quality can vary from store to store, but this place has always consistently produced the best. I'm surprised to see some negative reviews mentioning poor attitude from staff members, as I honestly cannot see any of them behaving in that way. Well done guys, you're a credit to the brand. :)

Popped in for a quick coffee on the fly, and fancied some whole milk in my cold brew coffee. I politely asked the lady who served me my drink and firstly she looked me up and down and then with as much disgust in her voice the look on her face she told me it was ‘over there!’ [whilst pointing to a self service counter out of view] They didn’t even have the milk I wanted... so rather than have to under go her evil stare I left as a VERY disappointed customer.

No staff present at till area When lady finally came out had a face on her like we interrupted her Very rude and got order wrong with wrong syrup i got told to try it and see which she had put in there rather than her re doing it Sat down to a dirty table

Courgetti and brocoli and the scrambley eggs are amaaaazing! defo reccommend. super friendly staff too

All you expect from a Starbucks, good opening times, fast internet and friendly staff with averagely good coffee.

I have visited several times for a take out coffee, friendly staff who remember my name. Inside seating is on one floor, it does get busy and as it is on one floor if you drink/eat in it could be noisy, I have never purchased food as it is pricey. I prefer this coffee than other brand names, I will continue visiting.

Large goup of friends all meeting up and we ended up spending over two hours here. Coffee great as always and a great place at the rear to sit. Food is crazy price so we avoided but coffees, teas and hot chocolate by the bucket. Wifi is slow as could be.

Great to have a Starbucks in Westbourne as much akin to a McDonalds, you always know what you're getting Working locally, we ordered a large round of mixed coffees and fruit mixers for a team building exercise. My colleague bought them back and they'd missed out the fruit cooler and added another latte (even after specifically asking for it) but I ran back and this was changed without much fuss Decent array of cakes and sweets which are always a treat and great location to the town

I was so happy when I found out a Starbucks was opening up in Bournemouth. I'm here at least once a week after work with my partner or friends for a coffee. It's nice to have a few dotted around so there is always one near by where I can get my fix!!

Why at 11.40am does it only have two staff in and clearly struggling to cope with a queue of 8 people... Come on Starbucks, it's not as if you don't make enough money and there are plenty of people looking for a job!

Very friendly staff. It is great to use own Thermos cup and get discount too. Fred wifi. What could be better. Parking tight but still great experience. More gluten free please.

Sorry not for me. There are loss of fantastic independent coffee shops around selling amazing home baked cakes and good coffee. Why anyone would want to use a SB I don't know.

We have several starbucks in Bournemouth and Poole but there is no question this branch makes the best frapps of all of them - and the staff are great too

Came here to catch up with a friend while on a quick stop over business trip and its a great cafe, plenty seating, friendly staff and clean and all the great Starbucks drinks. I can get very busy at peak times due to the location but thats just how popular it is.The great thing is you can take out and your in the centre of town.

I have the bad luck to be a neighbour of this branch of Starbucks and we have to live with the nightmare of them dumping their rubbish everywhere without cleaning up. They are a disgrace.

This coffee bar is one of the best Starbucks I have visited. You can turn up very early in the morning, enjoy tea or coffee with or without breakfast or one of the delicious pastries. No one will bother you whether you want to meet a friend, read a book or while away your time on a phone or laptop. My wife has spotted Billy Piper and Paul Gascoigne enjoying quality time. The service is invariably friendly and courteous.

We visited here with family whilst they were staying in the area. The day of our visit was rather overcast and gloomy, and this Starbucks was very welcoming. It was not too busy and so plenty of choice as to where to sit. Two of our party chose the special Mulled Fruit which they enjoyed, and also hot croissants.

The staff are incredibly knowledgable , very polite and offer a great customer service. At 6.30 in the morning they always have s smile. App is great with good offers .

This is my most local coffee shop, but sometimes I'm reluctant to go because the atmosphere is a little sterile!

I know it's fashionable to hate Starbucks, but in all honesty there are not lots of places selling better coffee in Westbourne. If you want decent coffee, served by friendly helpful staff, this is the only place.

Good for a take away coffee - exactly what you would expect from Starbucks. There are a wealth of far nicer places to go in Westbourne if you have time to drink in.

Sorry, but big chains like this should not be located in a beautiful village like Westbourne. There are lots of lively independent places that are a lot better and that provide far more connection with the community than this huge chain.

I have had 2 bad experiences. Messy tables, dust and dirt everyewhere. If you wanted to sit, you would have to make a space and take away used mugs after previous customers.

I have regular coffees here and I wouldn't go any where els it's always hot and the staff are all ways friendly

Coffee so-so, staff ok, really only went in because it was convient. Usual generic Starbucks experience - won't rush back, bit like going to Tescos

Products and service same as the millions of other Starbucks elsewhere. I particularly dislike the decor in here. Its tired and reeks of complacency. I always feel ashamed if we end up in here as there is so many better independent places locally.

The wi fi is the best thing about this branch. The service is slow and not particularly efficient. They are slow to clear the tables. Seating comfortable. There are better places locally to go.
