Not sure where to start really. Not a nice vibe when you walk in, almost feel like you’re a burden to the staff. The food is poor quality and there’s a member of staff, polish lady I believe who is extremely rude. Her husband is even worse. Actually felt threatened by them. Would avoid!

I wasnt too keen on the vegan sausage roll. It was kind of greasy & a bit TOO much like meat. Staff friendly though

Whenever I've tried to order a bacon/sausage wrap from here, they never ever have wraps available despite it being on the menu (Maybe take it off if you're never going to have it?). My wife likes their breakfast rolls, but I think the bacon & sausage here is way too salty.

I've been working in Bournemouth Town centre for 5 years now and in that time the Cornish bakehouse has consistently provided great quality food and importantly fantastic friendly service that makes you want to come back! It's certainly far superior to Greg's across the road!

Went to grab some food on break from work but you Where shut at 3pm, disappointed

hot pasty overcooked and ham and cheese baguette contained less than a slice of ham. it was all chopped up to make it look more. Refund obtained from justeat. both items in the same bag so both were luke warm. £7.25 for pasty no better than a chilled ginsters?

The pasties are simply super. Great range of fillings - we went traditionel and were delighted. Smiling staff. Good coffee - if we could we would have bought a couple of dozen to take back to France (regretfully customs would have piched them)

Terrible staff- I asked about ingredients of sausage rolls. Nobody couldn’t answer what’s inside, and only one lady said “some vegetarian meat” Food - okay, but dry

Rzadko bywam tak rozczarowana jak tym razem. Skuszona zapachem wstąpiłam do lokalu. Pastry które dostałam ładnie wyglądało ale smak nadzienia był okropny i nie nalazlam w nim składników które były wymienione w opisie. Zjadłam dwa kęsy a z reszty ucieszyły się wrony i gołębie chociaż po czasie przyznaje że to był błąd, nie powinnam była im tego dawać, mam nadzieję że nie chorowały.

The two members of staff working were extremely friendly and keen to help. The menu displayed behind them is the same as the ones for bigger branches and they didn't actually stock everything on it, but they went out of their way to help me have what I wanted. The food is as you would expect, but at the tasty end of that spectrum, and much more affordable than a lot of the cafes we looked at. I would definitely head there again next time I am in Bournemouth

Frequently use this pasty shop, but after today will stop. Went in to get a couple of Brownies. When it’s warm and they put them in a bag, all the frosting comes off in the bag, making a huge mess. Normally they will put them in a box if you ask. Today they refused, even when I offered to pay extra for the box. The woman was quite off hand. Not only have they lost a sale but a customer too.

Delicious lamb and mint pasties, piping hot and fresh. Would recommend! Went back for more. Cannoli were also delicious and the staff were friendly

Visited Bournemouth Tuesday 17th May. Stopped at this bakery and enjoyed a hot baguette and amazing coffee. Two lovely girls in the shop. Will certainly recommend to friends and will visit again. Meringues looked incredible too.

Good stuff! A lot of people don’t realise how expensive it is to run a business and manage to pay your staff enough to survive now in Tory Britain, so their prices are acceptable

This shop frequently sells out of baguettes (or is down to a selection of 2 or 3) by around 12:30. This occurs very regularly. If you ask for them to make up a baguette, you will either get a response of "not right not" or "we've run out of baguettes". Given this is a common occurrence, it seems like they are unable to properly plan ahead and as a result, I often have to go elsewhere which is frustrating as their baguettes are nice!

Was told pasty was authentic... this was incorrect. The pasty was awful I took one bite and threw it away. I'm cornish this pasty was not. Mushy meat pieces.. strange taste. Waste of money

Whenever I'm in town this is an favourite, they are so quick and the food is so good! Great to eat as you walk round or take down to the beach on a nice day, I've only ever had savoury but would defiantly recommend

We ordered sausage rolls and a jacket potato! For the price they were poor! My daughter wanted Greggs and we said let’s try somewhere different!! Cost three times as much and not very nice! Don’t mind paying of good quality😔

I’ve been there today. Try panini , was delicious and my boyfriend had pastie with lamb( smells amazing and tasted the same) . Very friendly staff

On the window they say that they have won awards, after trying one if there steak Cornish pasty’s I would have to say for what. It was cold although it can out of a hot glass display and going on the taste of the pastry t had been in there most of the day. I for one won’t be going there again.

A must go place to grab a quick lunch or snack Whenever in the area we love to have a pasty and coffee at this place. A good variety and lovely place.

The best sausage rolls in England

I pass through this establishment almost every day and I felt attracted for the smell. I decided this morning to go in and buy some of the famous pasties they say they make but what they don't say is that their service is the worst. The woman who attended us seemed in a hurry and wanted to finish with us as soon as possible. Not to mention that when we were counting the coins to pay her she took them directly herself from our hands when we were not offering her to do that. As we went out we realized that the change she gave us and the amount we paid was wrong but we were so annoyed for the awful service that we hadn't noticed it before. She was already saying "next" before even saying "goodbye" or "thank you". So rude.

The pasties were top notch very filling an piping hot, big enough to be a meal in its self

I definitely use the bakehouse more than I should, but the quality of the food is the reason I come back. They definitely do my favourite pasty in Bournemouth, and while I'm personally a stickler for the traditional, they probably have 10-15 different types at by one time in a selection of sizes. Add to this a decent selection of bakes, sausage rolls and assorted sides and there is a great selection. There are various other offerings, a good range of toasted sandwiches, all the drinks you'd expect and some pretty tasty cakes. Service is spot on, always a friendly smile and a warm greeting. Prices are fair, and there are a few small tables and chairs to dine in should you want to pay vat on your good.

We had two standard steak pasties at about 1.45pm. They were not hot enough and had dried out. I couldn't stomach mine and threw it away. We informed the staff and they were totally disinterested. Never again!

Awful pastry. Went to pick up some breakfast got diarrhea and uncontrollable vomiting instead. I'm pretty sure they are using the leftover pastrys from the previous day.

Cornish Bakehouse has a couple of branches in the area and they sell tasty freshly prepared food and drinks at good prices. They sometimes seem quite busy but you never have to wait too long to get served

Asked for 2 vegan sausage rolls this morning. The girl obviously didn't hear me properly and picked up a normal sausage roll with the tongs. I told her I I said vegan ones, she put the normal one down and picked up a vegan one with the same tongs. I said you've just picked up a meat one with them, she said "we don't use separate tongs sorry "

Great choice of pasties and rolls

Myself and a friend have sampled most coffee houses in the area and the Cornish Bakehouse has cheap coffee without compromising quality. The seating area catches the sun from 11 am from April. If you fancy a pastry or pasty the Cornish Bakehouse has a wide variety of options to suit your taste. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

This place has everything and a good bunch of vegetarian stuff too. Pizza, pizza slices, rolls, pastry, merengue, cannoli and much much more. Staff are nice and friendly and the food taste great 😁

Coincidentally, as I read my newspaper, having a makeshift breakfast at The Cornish Bakehouse, I read that Greggs are going to open their cafes in Cornwall and, having eaten at many a one, I do feel that their pastry is going to be compared very favourable to the pasty! The coffee was good, but that's not what they build their reputation on, is it? I had a broccoli and cheese one, but was not impressed by its flavour. the young lady who served me was very friendly, but I won't be going back!

Publicidad dice mejor pasty, todos podemos 2017 creo que es sobornaron los jueces. Había trozos de carne del tamaño de pelotas de golf por un extremo y papas en la otra. No hay otros vegetales a la vista. Las empanadas eran simplemente cálida y el bistec estaba fría. hornear Puedes ir a una tahona de horno caliente para conseguir comida, no calentada en el microondas, incluso las cuñas eran superficial, pero todavía hacía frío.Comida muy decepcionante.

Smells great, food is good. Service is terrible and they have false advertising. They tell you that you can ask for the paninis without tomato paste, however they actually can't.

Nos apetecía un pastel y no nos gustó su aspecto en otros establecimientos, así que decidimos probar aquí y no nos decepcionó el sabor y la calidad de ellos. Tienen algunas mesas afuera que hicieron que fuera un almuerzo agradable bajo el sol. Compraría uno de ellos otra vez.

I am often in Bournemouth and look forward to visiting the Cornish Bakehouse. The range of fillings available in the pasties is fantastic. Great coffee too. I recommend anyone drive out of their way to come here. The food is delicious.

Twice now I have visited this branch to be told that they couldn't make me a bacon roll as they only had 2 staff. I suggested that they took down the sign advertising said snack.

The smell coming from this place is always incredible. So hard to walk past without buying something. Stall always friendly but does get busy.
