Absolutely disgusting. Delivered food that was cold wasn’t fit for human consumption , the food was delivered at 8:40 from an order placed at 6:15 straight from the seat of a car in a box, no warm bag or anything. I will be reporting these to the councils food standards. I have had bad take sways before but this was on another level, nothing was edible or even warm

Food was delivered 30 minutes late... rice and chicken cold. ordered seveeal dishes expected a lot more for the value..... but everything tasted the same .sweet and sickly.. just not nice.. coming from two qualified chefs this food was shocking.. dont bother

We have been going to this take away since 2016 and always the food has been outstanding, a couple of weeks ago we prdered some food and it was really bad, not up to the usual standard, we decided that that may be a one off so we ordered some food yesterday (30th January ) this time the food was so bad, the sauce was like water so I had to drain it and put the sauce in a pan with some cornflower to thicken it, never again, also they charged us £2.00 too much, I wonder if it has changed hands ? real shame

Live very local to this takeaway and the previous owners had a bad reputation. Ordered salt and pepper chips, Singapore vermicelli,spring rolls and peas and curry. Food was absolutely spot in,quick service,good value and one of the tastiest Chinese takeaways I've had in ages, some of the more popular ones locally have become very bland,this was a lovely surprise and will definitely order again.

Ordered on th 22/02/18 food came on time hot and tasty but for some unknown reason the exact same order came again 2 days later but without us ordering it and the delivery driver wanting £11.90 again so when I asked about it the delivery driver stated this had happened earlier so why are star city cooking orders from 2 days ago, passed from pillar to post with no resolve from just eat or takeaway

Absolutely disgusted with this place 2nd time iv had my order declined in the past few weeks and this time it's cause I wrote a negative review cause.my order was 1 hour and 30 minutes late and was stone cold iv been ordering here for well over a year it's safe to say u have lost a good customer cause I will not be ordering ever again

We had prawns in the Fried rice when we told the not to as was allergic to no chips when you pay over £50 for a meal you expect a lot more very disappointed

Driver tried to charge us more for our order. Special fried rice only had chicken in it. Salad serviced with salt and pepper chicken had brown salad leaves in it and the chicken wasn’t crispy. Save to say, won’t be using you again.

love this place! my fave Chinese in Bolton! freshly cooked ingredients, free spring rolls and friendly fast delivery service. only suggestion would maybe look into using tofu? as being veggie there’s only mixed vegetable dishes that I can eat on your menu. other than that, dishes are always jam packed with tasty different types of veg (rather than some Chinese that just seem to use too much onion and carrot, cheapest ingredients) recommend this place to everyone. the salt and pepper chips are delicious 😊

Not much meat on the special fried rice and no egg with the chicken fried rice which you normally get. Other than that, lovely food.

Absolutely shocking. My food was due at 1950. I rang at 1900 to add curry sauce to the order; to be told my order was on its way. I explained I wasn’t home and it wasn’t due yet. This was treated as a huge inconvenience and after over five minutes on the phone, they said they’d contacted the driver and my order would be delivered as scheduled. Arrived at bang on 1950: cold, sweaty and inedible. Disgusting and the lot went in the bin. I’ll never order from here ever again, 33quid wasted.

Made the mistake of ordering via Just Eat without checking TA. What a poor decision that was! Chicken balls were almost inedible (I managed about a third of mine), heavy lumps of doughy coating and very little meat inside. None of our order was hot enough. The only positive was the helpful and courteous delivery driver.

The delivery time was early and I was so happy about that opened my food and cryed my salt and pepper chips tasted and looked like they had been fried more than once and then kept under a warmer there was no flavour to them at all my salt and pepper chicken was so dry I had to have a drink after every bite of chicken and the chow main well I don't even want to begin to describe that dry plain chewy and no flavour got told this was a good place to order from I would rather starve that ever order from here again you should be ashamed and for anybody who says they like there food you need to up your standards I would rather eat dry toast for the rest of my life

I wont ever order from here again. The food was absolutely terrible. The salt and pepper was hard lumps of batter without any flavouring. Defo avoid. The chef clearly needs to have some lessons on how to cook. 🤢

my order was 30 mins late after them adding 20 mins on so I waited 1 hr and 50 mins and now I’m not going to eat it because it’s too late!

Food was alright, decent portion size. I paid in cash & the delivery man showed up & asked me if I had any change. When paying in cash I would expect them to show up with change... proceeded to stand there in the freezing cold watching him emptying all of his pockets looking for change. Did not appreciate this.

The worst takeaway there is. Waiting time was 10 past 7 then 10 minutes added extra, got to half past 7 so rang the takeaway and they said they had already been and no one had answered. Which was completely untrue. Then said another 20 minutes for delivery and that I would have to get over it because I didn’t answer the first time!!!! 25 minutes later and still not here...... rang back and got told this is what happens when I don’t answer the door. Not even an apology! Came off the phone at 8 o’clock STILL waiting for the delivery. Spent £30 and ordered the takeaway at 6pm. SHOCKING.

Salt and Pepper chips too salty and not the right chips to be used when making Salt and Pepper chips, Singapore rice was not as nice as other places - (sorry), and curry was too watery for my liking. I wouldn’t order from here again but that’s just my own personal choice. If you would like to try them, then feel free.

Did not deliver our food and didn't tell us after 2hours we contacted just eat who informed us very bad customer service that they cancelled after saying it was on dispach would not order from here beware lady was so rude and let delivery driver try tell us after 4 phone calls bad place for customers

Ordered on a Sunday evening for delivery to Bromley cross. 3 of us had food and all 3 have been ill. Only when I have looked today have I seen they only 3 star hygiene rating!! Please people don’t believe there just eat rating

Menu reads "crab meat" when in fact what they served me was cheap seafood sticks that contains crab meat! If you gonna do a cheap job then change your prices! Squid was rubbery and over cooked, mussels had a terrible odour too! Never order seafood from this place! Shamefully low quality

Best Chinese takeaway I've had in years! Good quality meat and plenty of different Chinese vegetables, it was especially nice to see straw mushrooms. The only minor let down was the sweet and sour sauce, which looked nuclear. Definitely not made from scratch and far too much colouring. Otherwise very, very good.
