What a find! We popped in on the hop. Really good service. Beautiful food. Daughter had the kids mini afternoon tea. Really nice portion. We had quiche and toasties. Came with salad and coleslaw. All homemade and really tasty. Will definitely be back.

Really lovely lunch today in this cafe in Kendal. Something to suit everyone. Fresh food and great coffee. The service was excellent, would definatley recommend.

Perfect get-together for Mums escaping from their boys' rugby tour. We had the boozy brunch - great cocktails, and a tall stand of beautiful food! Service was quick, food and cocktails delicious, and the price was right. Will return, thank you.

We have eaten here lots of times and have never been disappointed! It was nice to see a few new options on the menu, one of which I had, the chicken skewers. Lots of juicy chicken and halloumi chunks on a lovely flatbread with salad. My partner had a flatbread from the specials and was very happy with it. Always delicious, always good service

My wife and I had a different special each, and they were both great. Staff were really pleasant and happy to help. We'll definitely be coming back.

Hot afternoon tea was lovely for my hubby treat for him. Staff were lovely. Service was excellent from staff. I would highly recommend the hot afternoon tea.

We were en route from Rosyth (near Edinburgh), where we left at 8.30 am, to Knutsford, Cheshire, and found this delightful café when diverting off the motorway to visit Kendal. The food was superb, plentiful and reasonably priced. The bowl of soup (see photo) could not have been surpassed. If in the area again, we'll be back! (Parking was just around the corner.)

We only had drinks and ice cream , staff were courteous and place was clean as were toilets . Ice cream was Wallings . Good coffee .

A lovely visit as always, food and service were fantastic. I had a chicken wrap, it was very tasty and fresh. Nice to get a consistent standard every time I pop in. Next time I must leave room for a pudding!

The food was amazing, great portion sizes for bottomless tapas - cocktails delicious & the staff extremely attentive! Booked the wrong date however they accommodated us with no problems. 10/10!!!

What a wonderful place!! We came in for bottomless brunch and had an amazing time. The food was incredible, the cocktails were out of this world (we drink a lot of cocktails!!) and the staff were lovely. I have no faults at all, it’s a real hidden gem of a place and I’m so glad we found it!! Thanks to you all for making my friends 40th so much fun xx

Came to Stanley’s with friends and was excited for the evening, we were having a sharing plater as that is what they were doing around the Valentines week. Cocktails were really good and there is a lot to pick from. Unfortunately it took about 50 minutes for the food to arrive, to the point that a table that was in before us got up and left because of it. And when the food came in was pretty average and I was left hungry after it as it wasn’t a lot, just wish they had there normal menu on and not try and do something themed that they couldn’t pull off. The waitress were lovely and we have heard good things so we will come back and see if the normal menu is better

Great evening!! Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend the Tapas which offers plenty of choice and good size portions. The staff are lovely 😊. Very friendly and efficient. Will be back!! Xxx

Went to Stanley’s last Saturday, food was amazing, really tasty and good sized portion. Also enjoyed some great cocktails whilst in there! All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Visited with a friend for Christmas evening meal. Had to prebook menu choices and pay a deposit to secure booking -Plenty of options on the menu and staff kindly agreed to swap the cocktail included for a preferred drink. Service on the night was swift and the food was plentiful and very tasty. (Best brie wedges and stuffing balls ever! ). Dessert was also very nice. All in all a lovely evening. Would definitely return and would recommend.

Amazing food. Looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal with the other half and feed our little one this place offers a variety of meals. Being unable to eat high fatty foods this place was perfect, something for me and something for my partner to enjoy. Highly recommend

Having seen the reviews and looked at the menu I was really looking forward to my lunch. We were seated quickly and had our order taken really quickly. Drinks came soon after and the food was really quick. My son had a burger which to be honest looked amazing and he said it was nice which it must have been cause he’s fussy. As husband is vegan there wasn’t a massive amount of choice so he had a jacket potato with beans which was as you would imagine it to be. No vegan spread though in place of butter and it was quite small. My ‘posh fish butty’ was anything but. The bread roll was nice and chips decent but the fish…..well think cheap freezer fish pieces that are just mushed up with hardly any fish and you can imagine what it was like. Certainly not worth the £12+ I think it was. Won’t be back I’m afraid.
