Atmospheric little cafe in middle of small retail sellers - arts and crafts etc. Food reasonable, service friendly but surprised later to read that food and hygiene rating is still only 2, with improvement required. I don’t see any changes from last time I visited.

'Stage 2 Coffee House' in Stamford's old corn exchange is a pleasant place for lunch or coffee and cake. The tables are surrounded by interesting vendor stalls selling antiques, records and handicrafts whilst colourful bunting hangs above your head. The iced latte I had was very good as was the Brie, Bacon and Onion Chutney Panini. Prices are very reasonable too.

Just needed a quick sandwich and drink for lunch. We think we'd been here before a few years ago when it was the other side of the arcade, but anyway, much nicer surroundings now with some interesting craft type shops all around. Both had an open summer sandwich and they were both very good.

Visiting one of my sisters who helps runs the Nik Nak's charity shop, which is within the Corn Exchange shopping arcade. We opted to have lunch here. Service was quick and friendly and very reasonably priced. The food, which was 2 chunky fish fingers in a sandwich, with chips and a garnish, very tasty. Once finished we had a good wander around the shops/stalls there, that also has a varied selection of hand crafted goods. We enjoyed the meal so much, we back the next morning for a great full English breakfast.

Friendly service, warm atmosphere. Small cafe - about 8-10 tables surrounded by retail stalls attached to local theatre. In the town centre, just on Broad Street, which runs parallel to the main pedestrianised street. Great for a lunchtime meal or snack or just a coffee away from any of the normal franchises. Good food and good value, will certainly visit again if back in the area. Lots of vegetarian options available.

Visited the lovely little town of Stamford on a wet Friday with our dog. We struggled to find a cafe that was dog friendly until we spotted that the arcade is dog friendly and had a cafe. The seating is in the centre of the arcade, so having a dog with us wouldn't bother none dog owning patrons. The staff were friendly and had dog treats for our pooch. My wife's all-day breakfast was a tad overcooked but still tasty and my pannini was delicious and our drinks were piping hot (not always the case with cappuccino).

My husband & I had lunch today in Stage2Coffee House. We had a laugh & bit of a chat with Mark, the owner, while we decided what to have from the 'spoilt for choice' menu board. All sorts of hot or cold snacks. My hubby decided on a bacon butty while I settled for Panini with Brie and hot chilly chutney. I was told, if it's listed, you can choose any combination of fillings for Panini or Sandwiches. This came with salad & crisps and one of the best latte I've had in a long time (there is an extensive range of coffee, tea & cold drinks) Unfortunately we were too full to try some of the home made cakes but it's a good excuse to come back again & we will definitely be back. The atmosphere in the Shopping Arcade is very friendly & unhurried. We took a leisurely stroll around buying couple of things and looking at the goods the Unit/Cabinet holders had for sale. Highly recommend a visit.

We popped into here to get out of the cold. I had a toasted sandwich - very good value for £3.95 as it came with a good side salad, with balsamic glaze, and posh crisps. My friend just had Lemon drizzle and remarked on how lemony it was! Coffee for both of us - did my milky one nice and hot - just as I had asked - but not a really strong coffee flavour. Excellent service and for the two of us for just over a tenner - very good value.

Visited this pub for the first time, was amazed that all the food was home cooked, cannot remember the last time I’ve been in a pub that didn’t microwave everything, I had steak and ale pie, was really nice, portions were also big, you won’t be hungry and the prices are great. I live guiness, hard to find a decent pint outside Ireland, this is hands down the best guiness I’ve had in this area!!

Just ordered a sauage abd mushroom baguette. Awful greasy mushrooms that tasted and smelt like old oil. Totally spoilt my baguette as the oil soaked into the bread. No butter at all too.

Very nice spot for a lunch in a busy market square in a lovely town - where we wanted somewhere independent and with a bit of character. Found a table outside which was a perfect holiday moment spot. Good choice of sandwiches, good coffee. Best part though was climbing the stairs to the top floor of the ancient building to find the loo.

Been here several times for breakfast and lunch Lovely food, friendly staff and good coffee Nicely done out inside too If I was to have one criticism it’s the tea… it’s weak and I think you should offer a more “robust” bag for those that like strong tea Apart from not everyone wanting posh tea bags this is now our “go to brunch place” for good , hot and yummy food I can always drink the coffee instead!!

This was always our go to place for brunch and we were regular visitors Last two times… Had quiche and salad - quiche bottom was soggy and inedible, informed waitress who said that she would tell the chef and that’s likely to happen with the type of filling… ok soo stuff happens On next visit had soup and it was tasteless, no one came to check how the meal was and not possible to stop someone as busy busy. Ate the bread and left the soup. Mentioned it wasn’t good and couldn’t eat it when we paid, just said “oh sorry about that” And carried on We paid in full but was more disappointed in the way our feedback was taken… eg dismissed. could def be improved upon… same waitress both times Sadly we haven’t been back
