Dropped in for breakfast and coffee! Boy are we glad we did. Had a lovely breakfast and then a wonder around the gift shop afterwards. Throughout we were met with a smile and a warm welcome on arrival. Especially the girls in the restaurant. Special mention to the lovely lady in the gift shop also who was warm and welcoming where we asked questions about the farm shop. The owner/s should be very proud of what they have achieved here. The gift shop is beautiful. Amazing eye for detail has been applied in the shop. Going to be making more visits to this little beaut more often when we visit again. Well done to you all 👏🏼

Dropped in mid afternoon for a cream tea. They do not offer a standard cream tea so it was necessary to buy scones, jam and cream. That said, the scones were delicious and we enjoyed our tea. Coffee was made with love by the barista. The staff were very busy but were all friendly and helpful. However, same cannot be said of assistant in the farm shop who was not as cheery and the prices there seemed high.

We came here for breakfast and it was amazing! The food was of excellent quality and there was loads of it. Not only that, but the plates were hot which is something that very few places have, so the food kept hot as well. We like to have piping hot tea with a cooked breakfast, and the staff were more than happy to hold back on our tea until the cooked food came out. Wish we lived nearer as it's certainly somewhere we'd be more than happy to return to.

We arrived for breakfast, which looked fantastic, but they were full and asked us if we wanted to wait. Unfortunately we were not able to but bought a delicious blueberry muffin and a cinnamon bun. I dropped one cup of tea which they duly replaced. I wanted to highlight the customer service as it was exemplary. Lots of young members of staff who looked like they were happy at work, even the young kitchen porter who deserves a special mention. The shop is plentiful and has lots of quirky items for sale. Wish there was one of these where I live.

Firstly, lets start with the plus points. Arrived 10th Oct at 10.00am, cafe not busy so got a table in the window. Ordered 2 lattes, which were both good. Unfortunately this brings us to the negative. We decided we had to move from the inside window seat to a table outside. The reason....FLIES. The window had probably over 30 of them, all over the glass, buzzing around the table. The owners dont seem bothered, but for me, its a definite NO. Sorry but love coming for coffee, but will think twice about returning.

Lovely lunch pit stop on our drive down to Cornwall. Beautiful cafe and shop, dog friendly too. The food was tasty, good service, the only reason for 4* and not 5 would be the options are fairly limited, which isn’t an issue to us as usually means better quality, but they are quite pricey for a lunch stop (Although the portions are large!)

We’ve been visiting the Farm shop and cafe at St Kew since it opened and it just gets better and better. Our visit for brunch this time was especially good. The food is a level above what you might expect from a cafe - really tasty and interesting, with lots of thoughtful touches - and great options for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Thoroughly recommended.

From the start we realised that the parking area is not marked out and clients seem to just abandon cars in the car park making it hard to get in, out and park. Once you get past this, you find a little building and one of the pokiest farm shops I have ever seen with some vegetables left on shelves outside, and no sign telling you to take them and pay indoors. You get into the shop and are immediately regailed by whatever the Canadian lady at the till is yelling about to a friend in front of her, and if you are anything other than stick thin, prepare for a tight squeeze as you wander past the too many NOT LOCAL items on display and the huge over-inflated prices. The cafe is beyond, did not go there, but you can see into the kitchen from the farm shop and it looked busy and to be fair smelled nice. However, given the super-high prices for the items on the shelves in the shop I dread to think what the prices are in the cafe and hence did not go in. Obviously this is aimed at pretentious shallow people with more money than sense and an inability to park properly. Not for me. Never again.

Have been here more times than I can remember and have NEVER had a bad meal or experience. We usually have breakfast and have been in all seasons. Summer you are able to sit outside on benches and winter moreso inside. The food is all good quality and locally sourced, bacon and sausages especially and plentiful (3 large sausages on one bun) and also well cooked. Tea and coffee is good - in fact I find the coffee too strong so have just a single shot which is perfect. They will always bring additional hot water if requested to dilute. Lunches are also very good and the cakes to die for. Being dog friendly, it is good to be able to take well behaved 4 legged companions along. The clue to the place is in the title - cafe - this is not 5 star michelin chef restaurant standard but what they do have is a well oiled wheel that prodices good food and drink in a nice atmosphere and with very helpful and friendly staff. In the season you may need to wait for a table but generally not too long. Car parking is free, toilets on site and well worth stopping by for a snack. Only one small concern are the prices which are I feel a little high but for good quality food I am happy to pay it. The adjacent shop has food, drink and gifts to purchase and some of the items are maybe not totally PC but that is all part of modern life. Embrace the place for what it is and what it sells. Not open on Sundays but locals know that anyway.

The Bradley Hare is an elegant enterprise but tends to cater for diners and private parties rather than dog walkers looking for a pint and a sandwich; indeed the lunchtime snack menu is almost non existent. On occasions the bar closes completely to facilitate private functions. In short, the Bradley Hare is perhaps more of a "restaurant with rooms" rather than a traditional hostelry.
