St. James' Court in City of London, Westminster

l would like to share my wonderful experience during my stay in Taj Hotel, London when I visited UK as part of support team from Delhi during the visit of Hon'ble President of India. Amenities in my room were wonderful. I was looked after very well and all my requests were met quickly. I would like to mention Mr Eddy who was assigned to look after the refreshments/other requirement in the control room. Though he was mostly dealing with the Indian High Commission Staff but as and when I requested him for anything he was quick to respond. I met your kitchen team: chef Raj, chef Pathania and chef Vinod who all are wonderful people. Chef Vinod (Bistrol Restaurant), appears to be a very dynamic/deft and mesmerizing person who not only us delicious meals but also impressed with his ability to communicate with ease and could strike a friendly conversation with his guests. Food taste/quality was delicious/outstanding and better than many other places/restaurants where I have visited/eaten in the past. However, I had come to UK for work (Government Duty), which means a lot of hard work with exacting schedule, my stay was made comfortable by your team which helped me to discharge my responsibilities with ease by looking after me very well. Looking forward to visiting your hotel in future as well.

A fantastic experience from arrival until departure, staff were tremendous at every level, clean spacious and light rooms, facilities are excellent, beautiful building and the staff to match, thank you to all staff for making our trip so special, we will see you again very soon.

I would 100% fully recommend this hotel. The entire experience was absent of any and all criticism. We could not have asked for a staff more attentive, respectful, polite & engaging. We came to this hotel for a 1 night special stay for our engagement, and wow am I glad we chose this place. Every staff member would receive a 5* rating from me, from the concierge greeting us at the door, to the receptionist waving us away this morning. Phenomenal food, spa and room facilities and decor. Of particular note was ROBERTO CANNAS & JOHN MCGEE who checked us in and arranged a complimentary surprise early check in and upgraded room. The room was decorated with rose petals and chocolates, which wouldn’t have been any more perfect for us. Finally I would express that anybody, whether leisure or business, should sample a stay at this hotel once in their lifetime. It was phenomenal. Thanks all. P.s - She said yes!

My husband and I enjoyed High Tea here. They had several different tea choices. I loved it so much I went back a second day.

The food was delicious and it’s so convenient having a restaurant of this caliber within the hotel. Nice selection on the menu

So we booked the Diwali thali menu for dinner.. While the food tasted good but the overall experience was not upto the mark of brand ‘Taj’. Cold welcome, shaky table which was fixed with a paper when asked otherwise no one bothered, one of us was not given the table napkin and had to ask for it after the food was served 😒, food was warm not hot etc etc... So many such misses made overall festive experience just average, not worth the money or time. The hotel lobby looked beautiful though.

Ended up eating here two nights as the food and service were very good. Great selection of meals. Wine selection was excellent as well.

1. Nice hotel pulled a room for us as our airbnb was cancelled at the last minute 2. Over staffed. I have never seen a hotel in London having these many people working. Usually I find 6 people standing in the small reception doing nothing. Not only at reception too many people at concierge, bell boys, restaurant. 3. Access cards won’t work half of the time 4. No lounge 5. Rooms were kept clean 6. Hotel is very near to Westminster and of course Buckingham palace 7. Tube station is nearby making the hotel accessible to everything

Took advantage of beautiful weather and enjoyed eating and having a drink in the lovely courtyard of the St. James Court Hotel

Food was outstanding and the atmosphere and service were excellent. The filet mignon steak was cooked to perfection and delicious.

This was my third stay at St James and I sincerely hope not our last. The staff were outstanding and nothing was too difficult. Each time we have stayed we have lengthened our stay as we enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is handy to everything including the railway. Highly recommend

We had a business lunch at St James Court. There were 10 of us, and we ordered mains and desserts, but the total time we had to wait for all the food was 2 1/2 hours. That was one heck of a lunch break ! Lovely food though and very well presented.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The rooms are not as up to date as I expected from the website but still nice. The staff are polite and helpful.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. It was unfortunate that there is a large construction site across the street and the noise throughout the night and day was a problem.
