Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹

The Iranian food here is exceptional - order if you can the rice of the day, it will be the most delicious rice you eat. Their Ghormesh Sabzi stew is excellent

Went here as a family with two kids after a day out in the city. Fantastic restaurant with the best Persian food. It is a hidden gem in Central London. The Barg and Koobideh were cooked to perfection which is no mean feat and the salads and sides were flavoured beautifully. The restaurant itself has a lovely modern Persian vibe and the staff were super friendly. We already can’t wait to go back!

My soulmate and I stumbled across this hidden gem on a dark and cold night of December. The streets were full of lights, but our hearts were shallow - we needed something to bring us back to life. Like an oasis in the middle of the desert, we found Boteh Jeghe in the heart of central London. We were welcomed by two very caring angels - Emilia and Johnny - who took us to a super cozy table, with beautiful roses. Then, the magic began: baklava, chocolate cake, apple and date loaf, pistachio cake. An explosion of flavor which brought happiness in our lonely hearts. Thanks to this place for renewing our hope in human kind. Thanks to El Paso for bringing our minds on a trip to Spain. Thanks to Kamil, my partner, for being just who he is. Thanks Emilia and Johnny, donde la gente esta muy loca. We won’t forget you.

Welcoming and friendly service, who also given us advice on ordering the food in terms of which food is best with what. He was very helpful and always attentive to our needs. We ordered salad which came with bread and yougurt. For Mains we had fillet of Lamb, mixed herb stew with fish. We had shirin Pollow and steam rice. Everything tasted extremely delicious. We never had such a tasty persian food before.

Stumbled across Boteh Jeghe (which means Paisley in Persian) and we loved the look of the place, very relaxed, clean and bright. Front of house staff (Hamid and Adriana) put on good service with a smile and made really great suggestions too. Portions are moderate in size compared to some Persian restaurants but the pricing is also set very well so no complaints there. It’s a case of Qaulity over Quantity. We tried several items as the food looked excellent and we were not disappointed with any of them. The highlight for us was the good quality of all the ingredients, from the bread to the rice to the meats and even the dips! You could see the food was made with care and attention. Finally treat yourself to the delicious cakes and ice creams to round off your evening. Hidden gem in the heart of town will be back again soon. Well done Boteh Jeghe please keep it up!

After seeing the 5* reviews I thought I will try it as I live nearby.i orderd chicken skewers with rice, the chicken was tasteless and the rice plain , I ordered chips and they were pub style chips , I expected a Persian food full of flavours but it was disappointing, I ordered the drink made with mint and yogurt and it was horrible. Any way I didn’t find it a gem like so many reviews???

Three of us dined at Boteh Jeghe on Sunday evening. The food is superb and beautifully presented. Succulent pieces of lamb and chicken delicately spiced and freshly prepared with a colourful array of rice nestled into the juices of each dish. Good wines at reasonable prices are also available. We chose a bottle of Rosé. It was delicious and perfectly chilled. Boteh Jeghe gets it right on all counts: Welcoming staff, delightful ambiance and delicious food and wine at reasonable prices. This may be the best dining experience you have all year – not only for Persian cuisine but across all culinary cultures.

Have been here twice over the past 5 days. Food is really good, meat very tender... quiet and clean, cozy. good for gathering the self service salad is very nice as well, i feel i can just feed myself with the tasty salad the staff missed my halloumi order today but i got a full wrap AND a free dessert instead so nothing to complaint about :p

Good spot near Baker Street for family lunch or lunch to go. Good choice of salads, stews, rice and kebab.

This is so good and probably best Persian. The food was so good and the service was so good and quick. Just great.

Boteh is a new iranian restaurant in London. It is small with 4 tables in the ground floor & more tables down. The food is delicious & the service is good. I think it is kind of walk in restaurant & there is no reservation

Delicious Barg Kebab. The portion was the right size and it was good value for money. The staff were nice. The meat was actually very tender.
