The poached eggs on avocado and sourdough is the most delicious breakfast ever and the coffee is really good. The staff are always polite and friendly, and they don't hassle you if you want to sit and read a bit. Best cafe in Forest Hill - and believe me I am very fussy about cafes!!! Gold star!!

Al comer aquí hoy, mi amiga pidió una taza de té para acompañar su emparedado. Cuando llegó la leche caliente, ella cuestionó esto, y le dijeron que no podía tomar leche fría porque se pondría en su té. Luego pregunté por una bebida fría esperando que tuvieran alguna opción. No estoy bromeando. El jugo era gaseoso y fermentando. Dijo que si no lo quería, Coca era mi única opción. No hay oferta para reembolsar increíblemente. Luego me sirvió un zumo de manzana frío en un vaso caliente. Tomé un sorbo y lo dejé. No volveremos, simplemente no tienen ni idea.

The coffee here is great and the staff are friendly. But they they no longer take cash. If I'm buying a £2.50 coffee I don't want to put it on a card - often I don't even have one with me if I've just popped out for a caffeine fix, and then have to go elsewhere!

Visited here for breakfast on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Has a Bohemian feel with laid back helpful staff. The two options we had went down very well and no ice in the orange juice [perfect].

Very poor service, ignored by staff and not great access for the disabled. Decided to try it out as the reviews have been amazing but thoroughly disappointed with the service and hygiene of the place.

Cool coffee shop! Only wish they had decaf coffee as an option and I would visit more often! Have noticed prices slowly increasing over the years, but nice atmosphere, quality coffee and tasty breakfasts!

Enjoyed a Sunday morning late breakfast here; lovely place, lovely people and friendly service. Thoroughly recommended.

I had Kurt eggs and they were amazing. Yoghurt, chilli oil, eggs, sour dough toast. Delicious, very rich and filling. Worth every penny! My partner baulked at the price but soon chilled out when his food arrived (£18.50ish for two with sparkling water). Also,note: they don't take cash payment here..

They have great coffee, must give a try. Customer service ok however a shortage of meal options. Could add more to the menu

The place is beautiful, I haven't tried much of the food (expect the nice but pricey sausage rolls and cakes) but the brunch menu looks lovely and reasonable value and coffee is average. It has a lot of potential but whenever we go the service is painfully slow and unwelcoming. It's usually very busy (especially at weekends) but that shouldn't be an excuse to be friendly. Very hot in there pretty much all year round and a lot of 2 person tables are regularly taken up by single laptop users. Not a great place if you're in a rush. Or indeed if you want any sort of greeting or smile to go with your order.

This is such a lovely venue. Always busy when we visit. Downstairs is a bit cooler and has more space so recommend there (though having said that, just grab any seat you can). Menu choices are varied, cheap and tasty. Service is great. Recommend.

I’ve lived locally for a few years and can’t believe I have not been coming here more regularly. I had an excellent bacon and avocado sandwich, and the coffee was lovely. It is small and a bit cramped but if you can get a seat it’s worth it.

Such good coffee, very laid back and chilled but they can totally get away with it! Staff are pleasant enough in a hipstery kind of way and the sun beams right through the front window.

The cake is also lovely too. They do good breakfast and open late on the weekends. Sometimes I don't feel trendy enough to be there and it can get cramped when busy but the staff are nice and there's Wi-Fi.
