Really enjoyed our meal at the St. Andrews Brewing Company restaurant. First class service and friendly staff. Also dog friendly.

Great range of local beer and other scottish produced beers, nice place to sit and nice atmosphere, good range of different gins too.

Decent pub grub at a decent price. Helpful, friendly staff. I had the tomato soup and a cajun chicken panini, although the panini was less cajun and more herb it was still very nice. The tomato soup was chunky and filling, quite strong in flavour. My partner had loaded chips - very tasty. The bar itself seems well stocked. There are lots of TVs dotted around so I imagine it would be a decent place to view sports. Comfortable seating. All in all a good experience. Disabled visitors should note this is up a couple of flights of stairs.

Above the Cinema, dropped in for a drink and to watch footie. Good sports bar, plenty of televisions, but the staff could do with a humour transplant. Seems to be a hang out for the local students, older people seen as strange, private function in the back. Toilets are pretty poor and could do with some TLC. Nt somewhere you would go out of your way to visit

We stopped off for a quick drink at the North Street establishment, which then changed to a snack, to all having sharing dishes and another drink as the atmosphere and staff were so good here. Excellent food, excellent staff and if we ever come back to the area it will be our first port of call. Oh yes, and if you want a sports bar you can apparently find them open from around 05:00 in the morning for special events! Depending on the event. Someone might have mentioned that the last one was for rugby.

We are from Dundee & regularly use the St Andrews Brewing Company at the Caird Hall. We love it there & thought we would try the new one in St Andrews. We had been to the South Road bar last year & thought the new one needed a review. The beer is superb as normal as is the surroundings & atmosphere. Its set up as a Sports bar & it must be great when a big sports occasion is on. We were a bit disappointed with the food as it was only a selection of burgers on the small menu so we ate elsewhere. Since then I see there has been a revised menu published. We will return to give it another whirl :)
