SSP Starbucks in Antrim

Terrible. No filter coffee so I had to opt for an americano and pay £1.65 more. No clean tables. Spills and crumbs everywhere and bins full to the top. An that is at 05:45am! Staff don’t care - too busy talking about what they watched on telly last night. It is just a shame that the other options at Belfast International Airport are not much better

Joined the queue to get my free drink on my app. Got to the till area with several staff not giving eye contact or greetings. Eventually an older woman called Kelly comes to the till without smiling or saying hello! I asked if I can get my free drink and she mutters something about it being a franchise and don't give free drinks or points. I had to ask her to repeat herself because she couldn't be bothered speaking properly. I said OK and order a venti Frappuccino and couldn't believe it when it was nearly £7. I didn't have my purse with me as I wanted to use my free drink and didn't have enough money on my starbucks app, although come to think of it I don't even know if this Starbucks store would even allow the use of the Starbucks app if they don't give points or free drinks. I told her I didn't have enough money and she pulled a nasty face so I walked away. Cannot believe the attitude of this staff member. Very unfriendly and abrupt. Don't know why she is in a customer service role if that is how she treats customers. Luckily, I didn't waste my money there!

This was the worst Starbucks experience yet. Nobody greets or makes eye contact my name wasn’t written on my cup and I stood waiting 15min for a cold drink. When I asked the cup couldn’t be found. The cashier then turns around and makes the drink shaking it in the cup without using a shaker just in the cup with a lid with liquid coming out of the lid on to her hands. She shakes it off and gave it to me. When I said “this is not right” she just stood there. I asked for my money back and without flinching a person called Nikita approved it on the system with no eye contact or remorse. An older person one the other till then goes on to tell me that’s how things are done here. no Starbucks procedures were followed and when we are over paying for our favourite drinks it would be nice to be treated like a customer. The 4 woman behind the counter shouldn’t be allowed near a Starbucks ever.

The fittest Starbucks I’ve ever been too! Never seen so much dirt and food all over the floors. See photo’s. Told staff and couldn’t care saying ‘we clean the floors once a day and that’s enough’ Horrible, really hope the wash their hands before serving food!

I'm a weekly airport traveller. Went to Starbucks and the place was untidy and grubby. Bins were overfull with litter. When I told the staff behind the counter nothing happened ( writing this 20 mins later). Either get more staff or train staff to keep an eye on bins & the seating area. Basic hygiene not being done 🙄

Starbucks at Belfast I ternational Airport. Inexpect better! Dirty tables and floors. Lots of debri on the floor and although there appear to be lots of staff on, noone is clearing or cleaning tables or the floor. Very little supply of food choices. Customer service is perfunctory, no eye contact, no smiles, completely disinterested in their customers. Will not return and cannot recommend it.

I have never seen a dirtier cafe. The floors & every surface is disgusting. Obviously it has not been cleaned from the day before. I'm gobsmacked. Staff are chatting away not doing much. There's flies around & it's filthy!

Speedy Friendly Service, great coffee ☕️, As a frequent traveller through this airport today was exceptionally quick. Even with a queue I could see all tills and coffee machines were staffed which is great! Only criticism I would have would be to expand the food range with more breakfast options

Called for a coffee while waiting for a flight . Coffee was fine but the place was filthy , the floor the tables and especially the service station just needed a good clean , Starbucks we deserve better !

No Serviettes available and no chocolate sprinkles. Why oh why at an Airport! Very Dissapointing visit! I wanted to return my lemon muffin and only then was the guy making the coffee asked if he had any tissue.

I saw 2 staff mocking an Indian when she ordered a cappuccino. She didn’t know how to place an order and 2 staff where laughing at her. I was standing next to her and felt really bad. Not everyone knows how to order in Starbucks. At least they could’ve been helpful.

Absolutely awful experience at this Starbucks! I waited over 10 minutes from paying to receiving my drinks of which I had to ask for!! They were simply being ignored and everyone that paid behind me got theirs first. All I ordered was 2 americanos. How can this be! Rude staff and no apology! I will never ever use this facility again. I am a gold member and always drink Starbucks but never at this one again! Serious management and rota systems need to be in place… ie order first get it first.

Coffee was poor. I ordered a flat white which was weak - I hate to think what their cappuccino is like! Cookie was satisfactory, but no more than that.

Visited today (16/8/22) and was served by Shakira. Her customer service was excellent, nothing was too much and she was very pleasant. Excellent job 😁

Staff were so friendly and very quick! Cara was particularly friendly and was great at her job, she was very polite and made things very easy for a few older customers too. Makes for a nice start to my honeymoon, too many fussy people love complaining about silly things! Great Starbucks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fastest line I’ve seen in a Starbucks and not madly over priced despite being in an airport. I was served by Paul and Kelly, never seen two people happier in an airport at 5am, haha. Two of them are definitely a wee bit of brightness when you’re feeling like a zombie!

The staff were lovely very friendly and efficient... There was hardly a line and my coffee was made quickly.

Average service, staff cheerful enough and the seating area kept relatively clean but here goes, who on earth decided on the idea to place hard wooden chairs against a rough tiled surface, every time a chair is moved the noise is excruciatingly painful and very very disruptive to all seated in this area, perhaps tiles could be replaced with carpet or something to reduce the noise placed on the bottom of the legs of the chairs, I for one week be in no rush back to this, it's absolutely woeful and action needs to be taken to address this issue!!!

Awful!!! The coffee, more like coloured water, obviously coffee machines not cleaned or faulty. No point in complaining, didnt want a replacement. Younger staff looked stressed. Older staff, when they were there just rude and just chatting to each other. Definitely a place to avoid.

Y'know it's hard to find sympathy for airports - it seems it's in their DNA just to rip off customers and this Starbucks does just that with prices at least 15% over the high street stores. I'd take some convincing that the rent in this...

Came in for breakfast. All good in terms of what I had, but the whole time I sat eating and drinking I saw people leaving tables and other people coming to sit down.. Masks lying on the tables etc, not one single staff member clearing...

Ordered two americanos for my wife and myself.The coffee was totally tasteless.You may as well have been drinking dyed water.The seating area was generally untidy with uncleared tables and paper/litter on tbe floor.The one plus point was the friendly staff behind the counter.

Disappointing that a big brand business does not stock decaf English Breakfast tea. Particularly as the business is located in Belfast Airport serving a province of people who are big tea drinkers. They got my business for convenience rather than providing what I actually wanted.

I was in transit for an early morning flight so had a large americana to try to wake me up for the day ahead. It was a decent coffee but no better or worse than I normally get.

To burn some hours off, we all had some drinks here. Luckily my discount card worked here for 10% off and the strawberry black tea was nice. Usual range of coffees but were also happy to provide tap water with ice if asked. Very warm with a area full of passengers waiting for their flights. Not enough seating but they did the best they could. Coffee tasted fine and somewhere no different to any other Starbucks

First they had no milk alternative- coconut, almond or soya. It was a Monday morning and they said they were out. Doesn’t help a vegan

At £2.70 for a cup you should get better coffee than this. It’s bland and unpleasant. Try the other outlets here for they couldn’t be worse!

After all the hassle with security I was served by a very pleasant Natasha. It was the Best Iced Caramel Macchiato I’ve ever had!

I chosen this venue, mainly as its a high st name i know, The cheese and ham toastie was tasty especially the lemon cheesecake muffin, great views of the apron/runway. good service given, thanks :)

My family and I visited Starbucks prior to flying off on our holiday to Tenerife and found the hot drinks, food and service to be of a very high standard. i have on the past eaten in various Starbucks establishments where food I ordered arrived cold but in this case at the International Airport which served to hot and was full of flavour. All of out hot drinks were served as ordered and I would like to draw attention to my wee fellas' order which again was served at the correct temperature as stated on Starbucks menu ie cooler. The staff were extremely helpful and took time to explain types of hot drinks on offer. As an exoerience prior to travelling I would highly recommend visiting Starbucks. Thanks to all the staff involved.

Recently some Starbucks coffee in airports has disappointed me. This however is really good. Also friendly staff.

Waiting for my flight to London I decided to pop into Starbucks. One of the best Starbucks Ive been to. Prices for food and coffee are reasonable (especially inside an airport)!!! I was served by Manie and Ciara... They are the friendliest people and definitely know their stuff!!! :) :)

As a coffee lover and an early morning I opted for Starbucks, I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received by the lovely girls behind the counter (sorry I didn’t get there names) they couldn’t have done anything more for me and when I asked about certain drinks they where more than happy to explain them to me. I also grabbed a quick snack which they heated for me (extra hot as I asked) I hate cold food and they didn’t make me feel as though I was a hindrance. I will definitely be back keep up the good work

Rest assured if you are Gluten Free, Starbucks at the International airport will have an option suitable. There sandwiches are fresh, well filled and very tasty.

What can you say about any Starbucks? The coffee is fine - although not the best. The choice of food is okay if you're on the move. But it does provide a large comfortable seating area if you need to kill some time before a flight. More expensive that Starbucks elsewhere but then that's true of all airport food everywhere.

Had a bit of mishap. Was trying to carry coffee and luggage when the inevitable happened. As I arrived at the table my coffee landed full square on the table much to the surprise of the young lady sitting there. Staff were immediately on the scene mopping up my mess. A replacement coffee arrived quickly thereafter without any extra charge. Full marks to the staff.

Big Starbucks at the airport, service was slow, tables were dirty, all food and coffee is overpriced, not impressed

We ate here one morning before departing on a holiday, I was bitterly disappointed with the food and the price we had to pay for it. There are other eateries within the complex which I will use in future. £8.25 for an Ulster fry! I get a much better and more substantial fry in my local cafe for less than this!

Quick service at an early hour of the morning. The sitting area was slightly dirty however this £'m guessing is down to the Airport Management and not the starbucks staff.Large sitting area with a few leather arm chairs and good view out to the aircraft.

Quick service at the counter then you have to remove garbage from the table and clean it yourself before you can sit down. Very poor

Starbucks in the airport, large area for sitting but was very disappointed with how dirty the tables and floor were, tables uncleared and 2 young members of staff only on duty, coffee only average and not served with any enthusiasm

Belfast International Airport has a number of different places for eating. Most of the recognisable names will serve you well and you’ll know what you are getting. I’ve been to the nearby ‘Fed & Watered’ café a number of times (I’ve only gone there on recent trips because every time I just think it must have improved, see separate review). Fed & Watered and Starbucks are the only eating/coffee places in the airport that offer windows and a view of the runway to see the planes coming and going. The reason I will be going here more from now on is 2 fold. If you like to be able to see the planes take off and land (I’m a big kid, I love it), then it offers the best of the 2 views. Also due to the airport layout its brighter and less ‘closed in’ than other outlets. Finally with regards location, it’s more central in the airport building, so when you’ve come through security and have time to kill before you know what gate you’re going to, then you’re better placed (not that this is a very big airport). On to the goods then. The central food court area is good and offers more choices that aren’t bad, but I rarely go due to their placing and lack of windows. The most well known name is Burger King, which like many chains means if you like others you've been to, you will like this one, if not then you won’t. Finally, that would also be my review of Starbucks, if you’ve been to Starbucks before and you like their goods (tray bakes, sandwiches and baked goods), then what’s on offer here will easily be recognisable to you, and you’ll know and like what you're getting. I’d choose the food court if you're in the mood for something more substantial and cooked though. Overall on the High Street, I’d find Starbucks middle of the road as I go to coffee shops for the coffee first and the food second, I find Starbucks coffee ‘OK’ but not amazing and would usually rate a Starbucks 3/5 stars, but I’d give this one 4 in terms of a review of the airport's facilities.

Now in much larger site and some new staff Starbucks winning formula continues. Unlike its neighbouring competitors they employ staff who seem to love their work and seem genuinely interested in their customers. The coffee never disappoints and the choice of dark or light roast is unique and welcomed. Food choices are not extensive but what is on offer is good quality.

I know it is an airport and busy at times but very slow and inefficient at producing orders. You have to wait and coffee eventually appears at end of counter. Mindless loud music blaring continually doesn't help.

when i waited in queue for five minutes i noticed there was nobody in front of me the staff were just talking amongst each other so i just walked off. just wait for your plane staff to offer you a nice warm drink.
