Stopped off on a Sunday evening. The staff were amazing and friendly. A great stop for something to eat. This was the best vegan pizza and food we have ever had!!! Absolutely delicious.

Went here for a pre-Cinema lunch after hearing good things from food blogger friends of ours. We weren't disappointed. OMG these pizzas were some of the best things we've ever eaten. Genuinely blown away by them and couldn't take the smiles off our faces having eating them. That's how to do it people!!! Food that makes you happy. The staff were great too and super friendly and knowledgable. Can't recommend this place enough and we'll definitely be back.

This is ideal for a quick and casual bite to eat in Newcastle. It's some of the nicest pizza we've ever had. Tasty hot and fresh. The garlic bread pizza strips that come with a tomato dipping sauce live rent free in my head because they are absolutely banging. Fantastic for veggies and vegans too. Ideal for a pre cinema/theatre tea! Definitely recommend!

Square pizza was the second food stop of the night. I decided to take my best mate to one of my go to spots for a quick bite in the toon. We could’ve chose any of the pizza pies up for grabs but settled on the special BIRRIA THAT. The passionate pizza person (Triple P) put a whole fresh pie in the oven and cautioned us on a short wait time. We sipped down a couple of coca colas as we waited and my friend spilled some of his in an incident with the menu - but not to fear, Triple P jumped on this within seconds and cleaned up the mess with a swift blue roll swaft. An aside; Triple P cautioned the wait to be 15 minutes however this was closer to 30 - we filled this time writing our review of food stop number one. THE FOOD. Holy moly was this good, unlike any pizza available elsewhere (except maybe Detroit - never been tho can’t confirm LOL) Came with a dippy whippy of gorgeous meat juice and everything. Perfectly crispy cheese crust balanced the fluffy dough and rich tomato sauce.

The most delicious pizza in Newcastle. Don't be fooled by the small size of each slice, they are deceptively filling! My husband and I ordered 6 slices between the two of us the first time and couldn't finish them all, so this time we got a lunchtime meal deal that had a slice, some lattice fries, and a drink each. It was delicious, just the right amount of food, the cheese on the pizza was crunchy and addictive and overall it was just amazing.

Very good pizza and great service! Nice and crispy so your toppings don’t slide all over the place while you eat. Highly recommend the Chicky chicky parm parm and Bada bing! Will definitely be returning

I couldn’t eat it. Im sure some people like the greasy, oily vibe… but I genuinely couldn’t eat it and I LOVE pizza. I was so sad. Greasy cold pizza? With oily waffle fries and garlic bread strips? The price? Wow! £30+ in a restaurant week offer? Woah. Don’t get me wrong- if it was good, heck yeah I’d pay that… but what we got?? Jeez! £15 tops. Staff were nice. Wouldn’t try again sadly. A pint in four quarters served as my liquid lunch instead ! :-)

It was ok ish. The extractor fan was broken so it was very Smokey inside and our clothes stank afterwards. My pizza wasn’t warm enough. Staff were friendly. Wouldn’t go again.

Visited during restaurant week for an excellent deal that was fully worth it! Service is friendly and pizzas are served quick. Good selection of beer and pizzas taste fresh and flavourful - good veggie options too. Waffle fries are fab and sauces are a great complement too.

Visited here last night with a group of friends after seeing on Insta. I was impressed by the food but the service and drinks selection were lacking.

Nice causal atmosphere, the place has a bottle shop vibe to it, serving food that will fill you, a place that you can just chill with your friends. Food wish, it won't be for everyone. Personally, I prefer Neapolitan type pizzas, so I knew Chicago deep dish style would be something out of my comfort range. However, the Square Pizzas had good flavours and good texture, 2-3 slices you'll be full. Price wish, it is on the expensive side if you compare a square pie to a whole pizza, but if your comparing it to a meal, it'll work out around £7-9 per person for the food. Overall, Square might not be somewhere I would personally go for food on a regular basis, however it is an independent establishment that is a great addition to the vast range of food establishments around the city.

The pizzas served in pie styles were tasty and filling. The floating casual dinning and ambients was prefect. The waiting staffs were quick and efficient. Overall, we had a nice meal. Value for money.

How can you let customers take a menu and then when you come to order say that they are only doing food for those that booked a table and they are too busy to serve food for walk ins !!???
