Now called the Common Room, nice place and a lot better than the old style coffee shop. Coffee was decent too👍

Never a welcoming atmosphere and last time i went in for coffee it was awful. Although it's been refurbished the staff could do with smiling and welcoming customers! Most food comes pre packaged in plastic. Boiled and served. Other than that they use merrychef to heat up food. Nothing really cooked fresh to order. :/

As a visitor i found it Very nice and clean, only had time for a coffee but the menu looked good

Big improvement, service could be slicker. If there's a queue, one staff member serves whilst the other 4-5 watch... Don't even get the drinks ready. Just a training issue...

Although having a face lift normally brings in customers. Unfortunately this doesn't apply to these premises. Sky TV is available. Pool table(in need of dire repair and new cues and chalk) the "bop" sadly does not get the numbers it used to and the place is regularly empty unless a football match is on. The staff are pleasant with the drinks being pretty cheap and there is good food service although there are no posters up telling you when food starts or even finishes.
