No fries...why would I order 3 burgers yet no fries? Tried to submit complaint on this app but no option to say fries weren't delivered. Never ordering from McDonald's Newport Road again. Pulse Cardiff is one of the most poorly run, toxic venues in the city. It hides behind a reputation of being inclusive, but in reality, it’s inconsistent, discriminatory, and filled with power-tripping staff who create more problems than they solve. There is no real dress code policy, yet security regularly turns people away based on personal bias or how someone “looks” — while letting others in wearing costumes, casual clothes, or barely anything. It’s selective enforcement at best, outright discrimination at worst. The bar staff are rude and unprofessional, often overcharging people for basic mixers and getting defensive or aggressive when questioned about it. Reports of drinks being tampered with, watered down, or deliberately altered are not uncommon — and that is completely unacceptable. Management and security clearly lack training in both customer service and safety. There are multiple reports of victims being ignored, mocked, or accused of lying when trying to report harassment or unsafe situations. This is a venue that puts people at risk by refusing to take complaints seriously. Their inflated egos are clearly doing overtime to make up for whatever they’re lacking elsewhere — because there is zero professionalism, maturity, or respect shown to the people keeping the place open. For a place that claims to be a safe space, Pulse fails on every level — respect, accountability, consistency, and basic decency. It’s an embarrassment to Cardiff’s nightlife and to the LGBTQ+ community it pretends to support. I genuinely hope this place gets investigated, reported, and shut down. It doesn’t deserve the licence it holds.
