Grillhaus in Cardiff

My wife and I went on a night out in Cardiff and decide to Uber a meal from here to our Hotel, bare in mind the hotel was only a few minutes down the road. The food was completely and utterly unsatisfactory, cold, greasy and the salad was brown. I ate only a few bites. Not good Grillhaus

Ordered lamb donner, literally taste and smell like raw meat and uncooked Bad experience

Waited for 2 hours for food that was promised in 30 mins. Turned up cold and almost inedible would never order again

Best kebab place ever. Staff are amazing. Food is 10/10. Will be coming here all the time to order no doubt about it. The chicken wings are the best, nice, fat and juicy and a perfect spice. Can't recommend this place enough.

My partner and I have had a takeaway from here a few times now and everytime the food is piping hot and delicious. Their pizza’s are really tasty as well as their burgers and each time the food standard has been of great quality and consistent. Thank you!

Have ordered from here multiple times now, Food has always been Amazing and quick delivery. Pizzas from here are on point and fresh while the Burges and kebab Sish hit the spot. 10/10 definitely recommend with this one 👊🏾👊🏾

this was by far the worst tasting kabab meat in cardiff, sauces were dreadful, chicken coating again really bad, salad more or less uncut, never again, order from uber

Randomly drove past hungry and we had Doner kebab and chicken strips. Chicken strips were really good. Kebab I would go as far as saying the best I’ve ever had. Huge portions, thick cut good quality meat. Salad was fresh and the mint sauce is banging

The kebab was the only half decent food we ate, the rest of the food was absolutely horrible, the pizza was in a very thin dough which was extremely chewy.

Food is absolutely amazing! the chicken and kofta kebab is honestly the tastiest one I have ever had! I would give more stars if I could!

Delivery took over 2 hours and wrong delivery arrived :-(

We've ordered from Grillhaus many times and have never been disappointed. Their lamb doner and kofta is quite unique and wonderfully spiced and flavourful, while the shish, traditional and tandoori, is nicely marinaded, tender and charred but not dry. Salad and sauce always fresh, with chips/rice consistently delivered hot and never stale/sat. If delivery takes a bit longer than some similar nearby grill places then it's because orders are made fresh to order! Finally, the amazing customer service really sets Grillhaus apart- always friendly, polite and helpful, even when asking for e.g. the inconvenience of having everything seperate, or swapping out ingredients. The owner/sometime delivery driver is an absolute gent and nothing is ever too much trouble - even on busy weekend nights when a lot of other hosts are stressed, short tempered and concentrating on turnover. Give Grillhaus a go, pretty sure you'll enjoy 🙂

Best food the chicken is amazing but orders food tonight an it was not the same chicken had changed was not as nice an the pizza was hard an over cooked was a bit sad as the food is normally amazing shame

Amazing food and amazing customer service, had a little way to travel but food was still piping hot and delicious, sampled a dona, lamb kofa and the pizza with chips can’t fault any of it. Working in food industry myself, the kitchen was top notch, any spills or drops were cleaned up straight away with food being handled professionally. Chefs worked well together & organised.

I've tried several places at Cardiff for kebab, but so far this has been my favorite. Good portion size and the kebab is fresh, also the sauces like garlic mayo has the right consistency.

We went in tonight, and had lovely customer service! As a family including with a 5 year old child we weren’t sure they’d be suitable. She said it was a best chicken and chips ever, and my husband who isn’t a fan of kebab shops had a chicken tikka wrap, to which he demolished and said he’d go back… I had my usual doner and can say none of us were disappointed !! We will definitely be coming back and recommending to our friends! Thanks for a lovely meal …!

Waited 50 minutes for my order only for it to be cancelled as they did not want to deliver to my address because of the distance. Pure greed taking orders on Deliveroo and then cancelling the longer distance ones

I ordered food last minute to Whitchurch village and wow just wow I am 37 years old and it's the best takeaway I've ever had.....the food was piping hot, the kebab stunning in taste ( makes u think wat you put up with before was ok) credit to u guys I will be coming back and Def recommend!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a Mixed Chicken and Beef burger, was the best burger I've had in Cardiff. Everything was so fresh and flavourful, it was put together with care which shows a lot. Will most definitely order again!

I had a chicken shish meal and the food was absolutely amazing can't recommend enough, the portions were big, it was piping hot and the taste was awesome. Will defo be going back best shish I've had in a long time. Staff were also very polite which was appreciated!
