Spitiko Restaurant in Enfield

Passed by here recently and the restaurant is being turned into a Dominoes pizza take away. Shame as Greek restaurants are becoming thin on the ground in these parts.

Le doy a este lugar una mala revisión en 2015 ene como pensé que no era tan bueno como lo ha sido. Fui hace unas pocas semanas y parece ser mucho mejor. La comida estaba muy buena y a un precio razonable. Parece que tienen aumenten su juego un poco. Relación calidad-precio mucho mejor que en la carretera Myddleton Vrisaki.

Fuimos para una comida mientras espera por obras en coche.

Nice food, though they didn't have a very popular Greek dish on the menu which my other have wanted which was a shame, tasty food.

la última vez que fuimos hace más de un año el pulpo era delicioso y se derretía en la boca, que es la razón por la que pedimos otra vez. Por desgracia, esta vez fue mucosa en el exterior y duro en el medio sin sabor, la ensalada de patatas fue conducción slopped en el plato. Los langostinos estaban pétreas quizás era arena. No podían incluso conseguir patatas justo. La camarera parecía dispuesto a deshacerse de nosotros ya que había una mesa grande de gente celebrando un cumpleaños que llegan.

No puedo por mi vida trabajo este lugar. Me lo había recomendado por un amigo y colega confianza. Aquí nos íbamos a encontrar auténtica cocina chipriota griego de casa, dijo. Bien, todo lo que puedo decir es, sobre la base de nuestra experiencia aquí, por favor, decir que no es así!. No es una impresión al entrar en brillante: aunque la bienvenida fue bastante amable, el lugar se podría haber hecho con un bonito polaco para deshacerse de un ligero tufillo vegetal. Pero la comida era francamente no es muy agradable. El pedido tzatziki estaba cansado, como los encurtidos. Mechas de cerdo ahumado a la parrilla eran igual de inspiración. La souvla de pollo de mi compañero estaba realmente desalentador, grandes apetecible bultos de pollo supuestamente marinaded pero con cada poco sabor cocinado, acompañados por losas de igual forma lumpen de patatas. Mi pastichio makaroni era un enorme ladrillos de indigesto comida indigesta inglesa, recalentadas que apenas a una corteza en una esquina y carece de los buenos sabores nacionales sustanciosas que quieras desde esta cerdo clásico discontinuas Misa del Gallo. Realmente, no es muy bueno. Fue siempre así? Sin duda no puede haber sido.

He comido aquí varias veces a lo largo de los últimos diez años y la comida siempre ha sido buena, aunque últimamente la calidad ha bajado un poco, creo que podría haber cambiado de propietarios hace un par de años. El otro día el cordero era bastante difícil y duro.

Durante una recente visita a nostro figlio che vive a Londra, abbiamo pranzato in questo piccolo e delizioso ristorante. La calda atmosfera mediterranea e l'ottimo cibo hanno reso la giornata molto piacevole. Da provare molte delle specialità greche che sono servite in abbondanti porzioni (mousaka, souvlaki di agnello, contorni di verdure .... e dolci tipici squisiti). Oltre alla cortesia del gestore, che è stato generoso nell'offerta ripetuta di ouzo e raki a fine pranzo, da segnalare l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

No estaba seguro de volver y probar otra vez, pero me alegro de haberlo hecho. Nuevo propietario y la comida es como estar en casa. Los sabores traen recuerdos de comida casera y vacaciones familiares en Chipre. Puedo recomendar el cerdo souvla, pollo Kabab, pimientos peluche y podría seguir. He estado dos veces con amigos y la familia y el personal es muy amable. Entrar y disfrutar de la comida.

Had a lovely time and the food was beautiful.Everyone was very friendly and you would of thought you were in Cyprus.I will defenitly go back !!!!!

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces y disfrutaron de la comida, el lugar se siente como Chipre así que comer aquí en un día soleado para una auténtica experiencia del Mediterráneo. Mi marido y mi favorito es el cordero souvlaki y cordero kleftiko, con patatas asadas y ensalada griega!! Lo único que puedo decir es que sus bastante costosos y todo el aspecto pedidos rápidamente!

tried a few different dishes, pastichio is very good, potatoes and koftethes were a bit to salty but the kleftico was good

We visit Spitiko whenever we can and have just used them to cater for our daughters christening. I cannot rate their food and service highly enough & everyone commented how amazing the food was. Never disappointed eating here.

Fantastic traditional Greek food in north london at reasonable prices. They the home made biftekia (greek burgers)

This is a place to go to if you want good tasting Greek food, its always been fresh and lots of it! I came here for my sisters birthday there were 20 of us with children and it wasn’t a problem like in some places you go to eat. Very accommodating and wholesome. Service was good and friendly. A good evening out.

Walked past too many times to mention so thought it was time to give this place a try.Glad I did.Had starters of Taramasalata & Dolamades,Were both good.For main course I had Kalamari while my companion had Lamb Souvaki.Both were excellent.My Kalamari was cooked perfectly and not too tough has can sometimes happen.The Lamb was superb,lovely and tender.Along with a nice bottle of Cypriot red and the waiter & waitress being super friendly (waitress had the most sexiest accent) I will certainly return here,especially as the bill was less then £ 50.Thought the traditional looking decor was tops as well.

I think that for its kind this restaurant is doing well. I mean this restaurant is not in a top hotel or location. However the place is nicely rustic design and clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly and trying to make us feel comfortable.I would go back to try other dishes. I think the place it is a bit overpriced but within acceptable limits.They serve take away which I am sure it is a good option to have if you live in this area.The food was well cooked and presentation was acceptable. They welcome families with children. The menu is not very extensive but it is still worth paying a visit. Compared with other restaurants which I visited I rated this place Average. However I am happy I tried some Cyprus chicken dish and make sure you try some starters.

food not bad, but i will advise you to check you got everything before you leave the place and also check what you been charged as i was charged for items not received. this was a nice place to visit and for take away when it first opened, however it changed hands so many times its and its getting worse every time you go there especially for take away. needless to say me and my family wont be going there again. such a shame

Came here by accident one Saturday evening as restaurant we were looking for was no longer there. Was tempted in as place looked lively with party going on. Were welcomed by friendly staff. Traditional Greek food & hospitality was great. Good value for money. Would definitely go again.

This restaurant is under new management, its been refurbished, and new chef. My wife and I decided to give it a try the other night and we were not disappointed. Great meals, great helpful attentive staff, good chef, well cooked. I don't know if you have been disappointed in the past here but my recommendation is give it a new try. Its a good atmosphere too. I don't think you will be disappointed either.

Bought today takeaway with the family. The shefdalia had an off smell which penetrated the whole bag of food. They were also very pink in the middle. Such a shame.

You have to eat here. I think it is new owners and has been refurbished to a very inviting Cypriot restaurant. The service was outstanding. And the food - well - where do we start? We chose the Mezedes menu - £16.50 pp. It said "almost everything on the menu". They weren't wrong. We have bog apetities but by the 5th course we were beat and asked for a doggy bag! It started with 6 cold starters and loads of pitta bread, then 6 hot starters and more pitta bread, then a meat/cheese course. The waiter then joked and said did we want a break? We did. Then the fish course and then THE MAIN COURSE - everything from the kebab menu. We got that to take away for a meal in the week! He then asked if we wanted dessert ........ OMG. No more please! but he give us watermelon on the house. We waddled home. They are also doing 25% discount at the moment so dont miss out. 3 ADULTS, Enormous and tasty amount of food , drinks and it came to £40. Even at full price it would have been more than worth it. YOU HAVE TO GO EAT THERE - DON'T MISS OUT. WE WILL BE GOING AGAIN !!!!! Thank you to all the staff - a fantastic evening.

Myself and my wife have been using Spitiko's for a few years now and when it suddenly closed down around 2 months ago we were disappointed.Now it's re-opened under new management, so we decided to pay a visit.What can I say, we had a Meze and it was the best one I've ever had. OK you may get more starters & dips in the famous Vrisakis around the corner but this was quality that has the edge in comparison to Vrisakis. One thing you get here as your finishing meat course is juicy tender Chicken & Lamb souvla with a couple of juicy Sheftalias. At Vrisakis you only get a couple of shish kebebs and a piece of Quail or two.If your coming into north London for a great Greek Cypriot meze, then I'd recommend Spitikos over Vrisakis.Enjoy.
