Adamos Taverna in Enfield

It your looking for good decent traditional Greek food this is the place to go! It's a small restaurant but the food is the best thing about it and its reasonably priced in comparison to other places in the area .

Me and my friend went here after my sister recommended it. I'm black and never eat Greek food and my friend is egyptian. The food was out of this world, everything was so so fresh, there is no menu. The lovely lady will show you the fresh food available and the nice Greek man cooks it up. There are salads mezes bread plus whatever meat or fish you order. Huge portions mean you can take a nice helping home for later! The atmosphere is buzzing and comforting I truly did think I was in Greece! I will most definitely go there as opposed to the other places on my end of green lanes. The potato chips are to die for!

I have lived in the Area since 1974 and never been to this Restaurant - and its just around the corner. The address does say Green Lanes, but you have to just turn of Green Lanes into a side road. It actually felt like I really was in Greece. The menu is a bit limited, the TV is in Greek, the music is Greek and the food definitely is Greek. I looked at the limited menu, and then was told in broken English but this and this is included, I must admit I did not really follow but said OK anyway and ordered the mixed Grill, I think everything else came with it, and apparently that is the same with every meal. Probably I could have just had the inclusions and missed the meal as it was just to much, they had to pack up almost a whole meal as a take away. I will be back now I have discovered this great place in my own back yard. Great food service, and Greece.
