Easier worst place I’ve been to recently. Don’t believe me just try to chicken burger , just try it and then you will understand. The cheese burger , with 1/4 slice of the cheapest cheese available has no taste whatsoever. The fries are consistently bad and oily . This place is taking advantage of its location that there are not many other places near by. Poor food and very poor customer service

Staff were willing to go the extra mile to accommodate an off menu request. Food was also very good.

I ordered the souther fried chicken burger with chips. It did take a while to be ready however it was hot and the chicken was cooked, however the bottom of the bun was starting to mussy. The chips was also hot but not they well seasoned. Overall it was alright. Not something I wouldn’t eat often but also something I wouldn’t mind having again

I went there for the first time food was delicious and the staff were excellent thanks

the portion sizes are very small and the price is high its not worth the money very expensive. and always miss somethink out the order.

I don't usually leave bad reviews and have ordered from here since they opened 7 years ago previously quoted as my favourite place and never had an issue however I had a chicken burger today and the meat was like elastic I couldn't eat it it was literally like elastic string because I'm pregnant my partner walked it back even though it was a delivery order so this was an inconvenience I wanted to give them the chance to rectify this as I've been a customer for so long . They replaced the burger (no gesture of good will either considering it was an inconvenience to walk there and back after originally ordering for delivery) also forgot the cheese I had payed for this time however when he bought it back to me the next burger was exactly the same elastic string. Really disappointed it has put me off ordering from here again. I've never had a chicken burger so bad and it's left me feeling quite sick.

Order food wasn’t great contacted them the day after no problem replaced order and was perfect enjoyed every bite 👍

I had the chicken burger meal, can't fault it. Burger was amazing and well assembled, Fries were good too, crunchy & soft inside. Great customer service from the guy who served us.plenty of seating area.would recommend!

After ordering from the spitfryer for a number of years I find tonight that the portion sizes were very small

Man taking the order over the phone heard me wrong, when the meals came and I called to ask why my other meal isn’t here he spoke to me with total disrespect and put the phone down on me and I was polite at all times. Will never order from here again!!! As I cannot reply to your reply, I can say for anyone reading that I DID NOT order from spitfire castle vale, I ordered from yourselves SPITFRYER CASTLE BROMWICH. So my review still stands! Please don’t try and pass the book to another company - that’s unprofessional and unfair.

BEWARE DO NOT ORDER Just ordered from here and I specifically asked them to keep my pizza hot , my pizza , then arrived barely warm and in the same bag as a COLD water bottle . Therefore cooling the pizza down AND warming my water up to ruin both items. I then phoned them only for the person on the phone to say “that’s as hot as we can make it” EVEN THO THEY PUT A COLD DRINK WHERE THE HOT FOOD SHOULD BE!!! My first and last time ordering from here! Pity as the food looks like it would be nice if it was hot

Spit fire is a nice Take way with.... Takeout facilities... It's located in a nice place with parking facilities... Beautiful & Quite Place... I tried Lamb donner and fillet burger which are amazing... I loved the food and there services as well... Hope that others will like it.. .. ❤️❤️❤️ I spent a quality time here

Sriracha wings, full of salt, no real flavour just salty sour chilli. They looked way better than they tasted, Fries were ok. Can of Mirinda orange tastes awful. Won’t be using this place again

Local place to me whilst at work. Thought I’d try it as it’ll be quick in delivery and food will be hot and fresh. The food wasn’t really hot and it didn’t feel fresh. A lot of condensation on the packaging as well as the food. Fries were not nice at all, barely edible. It’s like eating microwaved fries same with the food really. Didn’t like a single bit of the mixed grill. Complete waste of money and to top it off it made me sick after eating some of it and it carried on till the morning. Definitely not ordering from here again.

I don’t normally bother to write reviews, but after this evenings experience, I felt I had to as Spit Fryer have made my day! I ordered via Just Eat, and wrote a little note in the order (as I always do for the personal touch), saying how much I was looking forward to my meal after an awful day. The order arrived really quickly, and I was greeted at the door by a very polite gentleman, something you don’t always get with delivery drivers. I unwrapped my food, and it was all fresh and hot, and all good quality and good value. They had also included complementary dips. But on top of all of this, when I unwrapped my chocolate cake I found a note on the packet. It was handwritten, and said they were sorry that I’d had a bad day, but they really hoped their food would improve it, and that they had included an ice cream to make my day better. They also offered that they are always there if I need them for a chat, that they’re sending me their love and they’re here for me. It brought a tear to my eye. I have never received such phenomenal customer service from a restaurant, so kind and caring, and honestly just made me feel so much better. It’s nice to know people care, and are passionate about what they do. I can’t thank this store enough and look forward to ordering from them in the future. I will be contacting Just Eat to make it clear how amazing this store has been to me, they deserve all the recognition they can get. Thank you so much Spit Fryer and your team, you are all wonderful and I look forward to the next order I place with you! :)

The food is spot on and is fresh

Old oil being used and chicken smelt. Couldn’t have the food and had to throw it in the bin.

Ripped me off via Uber eats. PaiD £7 for a £4 meal , free delivery included. The extra money was charged as didn't meet minimal order price. Phoned store to add to my order to the £7 I paid but they didn't answer though phoned repeatedly. Messaged Uber driver to ask store to add chicken to justify £7 charge but store ignored. Feel ripped off. Hardly a £7 meal, small portion, disgusted really.

Like the burger meal it's tasty....but service is slow and the rarely get the order right bless them.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Recieved the wrong order, rang to ask for the right food to be sent out not even complain and was given a mouthful of abuse/threats. The food is average at best so its DEFFO not worth the hassle of having to deal with abusive staff AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

Only eaten from there once and food was okay. There is always a group of youths standing outside the door when I go to order so I don't bother anymore.

They advertised themselves as open until 1.30 on Uber Eats. I ordered just after 1 o'clock and they rejected the order. If you can't be bothered don't say you're open until 1.30. I will never ever order from here again.

Order arrived 20 minutes late on top of the 55 minutes wait, even if the shop is 0.8 miles away. An item was missing. I called the shop. They were offering me a discount for the next order. I don't need it. I want my food. Never again from them. Don't recommend.

Absolutely dire! Chicken strips are smaller than chicken nuggets! When I called first they said 'thats how they are' then it changed to 'theres a new chef and he's cut them too small' they offered to send more, 45mins(!) Later the same tiny strips arrived with a piece of chocolate cake. Too late an will not be ordering again!

Can only rate 2. Went here spur of the moment. Ordered my food. Floor and walls seemed dirty. Then a customer came in with a box of chicken complaining it wasn't cooked. They replaced her item but only offered a can of pop as compensation? Wondered what I'd let myself in for but there was no worry as the popcorn chicken was overdone. Pizza was fresh, average, never blew me away. One toilet and out of order.

Disgusting food. Genuinly made me feel sick, I didn't finish the meal and threw it in the bin. The chicken may have been sitting in a cupboard for the past 6 weeks before the threw it in the oil. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

If you go in to take away, if they have more than 1 order you are shoved to the back of the queue. I ordered 1 kebab in a naan and had to wait nearly 30 minutes whilst they served internet orders.

Great food Food comes nice and warm beacuse its packed properly the food is made fresh with any order and the milkshakes are absolutely delicious aswell as all the food that you can get there and staff are very nice would highly recommend

TERRIBLE. Don’t get food from here!!! It was the worst food I have ever had absolutely shocking made me want to throw up all over it and send it back. The price was shocking too I paid almost £20 expecting a nice meal to have with the family but everyone hated it🤮🤮🤢 the driver tried walking off with all the money without giving change claiming he thought it was a tip 😑. RUBBISH quality especially for such high price I don’t recommend this place at all go somewhere else! The only good thing was the timing the delivery did arrive quickly however the food and price were not worth it

La salsa para freír es un condimento en este país, algo que se aplica automáticamente con algunos alimentos, mi consejo es que pida sus kebabs del martín pescador en el extremo del fragmento, donde le dan tanta salsa como quiera sin un RIP de 50 p ???

Vivo frente a SpitFryer, así que he estado yendo de vez en cuando desde que se abrió. La comida es deliciosa, los kebabs tienen un agradable sabor a la parrilla y los panes Nan recién horneados. Ofrecen pizzas, hamburguesas, pollo, todo muy sabroso y nunca hemos tenido una mala experiencia aquí. Los precios son geniales para lo que obtienes y las porciones son generosas, un kebab mixto es suficiente para 2 personas, lucho para terminar uno solo. La comida siempre está caliente, tiene un sabor fresco y lleno de sabor. También ofrecen una agradable zona de estar moderna y luminosa si quieres comer algo. ¡Definitivamente lo recomendaría!

Utterly atrocious service. Ordered at 6:45pm, given estimated delivery of 8:05, called at 8:30 to ask where it was, was told half an hour, finally has just arrived at 9:30. No compensation offered by restaurant, excuses from the driver. It is snowy out, but the restaurant is less than 0.2 miles from my house, I could have walked it and made it myself. I would have had it quicker.

I know it says that food on a busy evening may take an hour, but we ordered on a Tuesday. When food did arrive after being 25 minutes late, driver didn’t even bother to come up to our door. Food was nice though.

Literally took 15 minutes since ordering to arrive and the food was excellent. Tasted fine, food was hot and it was good quality. Order from here most the time and this is the reason why. excellent!

Food was lovely but when arrived all the curry sauce had tipped out on to all paper and all over burger boxes my daughter refused to eat her meal as she hates it and dislikes smell of curry sauce. Shame really as never had problem
