Spinnaker Cafe in Pembrokeshire

I had vanilla milkshake and it did not taste like a milkshake the cups where dirty…..the sauces where dirty dishes where dirty toilets where messy

Only visited for coffee and cake but the coffee was the best I've tasted for over 30 years (when I was a teenager), when the coffee in the ood Bracchis (Italian Cafes) existed in the Rhondda Valleys. So good, I had to have 2. I was staying on the marina for a weekend break, and this was on the last day but we will be back next year, and will be using the Spinnaker. Hopefully their food is as good as their coffee :). Staff were lovely too

Down visiting my mum and she and her friend recommended we go here for breakfast I was not disappointed. I had the Admiral while the wife had a bacon roll! One of if not the best breakfast I’ve had!

The restaurant was extremely busy when we visited as it was a beautifully sunny day . We opted to sit inside rather than on the tables outside . There is a really good choice of menu items from breakfasts, Sandwiches, jacket potatoes and fully cooked meals . There is a really good selection of drinks and cakes . I opted for a breakfast roll and cheesy chips and my mother opted for the smaller breakfast as she has a little appetite we were informed of a 20 minute wait but did not mind due to the ambience and just enjoying our drinks . The cakes in the shop looked delicious and my mother has requested that asked that would you ever consider doing an Afternoon Tea ? I would certainly dine here again as the portion sizes are good and reasonably priced

My partner and I came here for breakfast, to try and spread our custom around our local cafe’s when ordering I was told I couldn’t have toast instead of fried bread because they don’t allow you to swap items, I explained I don’t want to swap it I just want it toasted instead of frying it. That’s not allowed, so I said I don’t want fried bread but the cost of it wasn’t taken off the cost of the breakfast so I paid for something that wasn’t supplied, a lousy way to treat your customers. I should have left immediately but thought it might get better. The eggs were over cooked. I did not consider it to be good value for money. There are much better cafes in Milford I would suggest you find one, we will in future.

Such a lovely cafe with super friendly staff. The best fry up I have had in a long time. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the fried mushrooms were delicious.

WHAT A SHOCKINGLY RUDE PLACE TO VISIT!!!! Myself my family and a group of friends visited for a round of coffee's and cake's. The staff taking orders were polite enough but took no names with the orders or seating area or table numbers, the result was wrong orders being delivered and drinks left on a table and abandoned until we could work out who they were for between us and other guests. This also meant other visitors to the venue were being mis-served as well. I mentioned this to one of the staff members who appeared more experienced and she replied by saying we just can't get the staff. Whilst we were seated and stood around enjoying the view and the company an elderly man who was seated on the other side of the tabled area out side got up and walked over to one of the women in our group and grabbed the back of chair and told her in blunt terms to move it!! The group of 4 or 5 similarly aged people who he was sat with then started to pass prejudicial and offensive comments about us being deliberately vocal so we could hear. He then pointed out HE WAS THE OWNER!! and our seats were in an illegal position?? I kid you not there was a law about where we could sit!! I'm not an unreasonable man I understand there is also a walkway next to the cafe. If this could be a problem why have so many chairs there in the first place? Why not have some signage to indicate this? Why didn't a member of staff from inside the cafe explain this first? All simple and inoffensive ways of dealing with the issue. I'm not a young man myself and in my many years of visiting restaurants and coffee shops, even in larger groups I have never been treated this way. In this day and age to vocally discriminate against people you believe are different to yourselves is utterly shocking. I did point out to the owner and his select group of friends how rudely that they had behaved without raising my voice or using abusive language and not one of them even attempted an apology or even an apologetic look. Save yourselves some pain and go to the Crows Nest just 50 yds up from there or Marthas another fine venue. We as a group of friends will never spend another penny there neither will our friends and we are all local people so we will vote with our feet and our wallets... Thanks for an experience to forget!!

Had a captains breakfast recently and it was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and courteous and the dining area clean and tidy highly recommended place to eat.

Great place to eat and close the our hotel. Well recommended for families or couples. A good varied menu

Lovely clean place and lovely staff.. enjoyed my cheese on toast and grandkids enjoyed cheese burgers, but the chips were awful.. tasted as if they had been in and out of fryer a few times. Very greasy tasting.. great selection of ice cream

Fabulous! After ten days in Wales touring this was without doubt the best breakfast and the best customer service I experienced. Good cooked fresh to order, great coffee. Great harbour view and clean environment. Visited twice both occasions great with a real warm welcome.

My family went to a table whilst I stood in the queue. They then moved to 3 different tables whilst I remained in the queue. After 15mins of the queue not getting any shorter, my family decided to give up and explained how dirty the various tables were. We decided to leave.

Visited here on Sunday morning for breakfast. It was quite busy inside and out but we located a table. A cheery welcome from one of the young staff was welcomed, she also took our order (1 admirals, 1 captains breakfast and 2 teas) and cleared the table quickly. On ordering she explained there was a slight wait for food, we didn't mind as it was busy and we understand time is needed if cooking fresh. In the mean time we had our 2 mugs of tea delivered piping hot - perfect. A few minutes later our meals were delivered by another friendly member of staff, service with a smile and she helped us to locate some sauce. Breakfasts were really nice, just good honest food. The only thing I would ask for next time is for my friend bread to be put on the side as it was served with the eggs on top, but that's just personal preference. We looked on the menu for lunches/dinners as we may return before we return home. A cabinet of cakes looked yummy too but we were too full this time! Thanks ladies! X

I popped down Wednesday of last week with my wife to the marina and decided to pop in for a bite to eat. I had the ham, egg and chips, fantastic portion sizes and lovely homemade chips and plenty of ham. The wife went for the Captain's breakfast and again lovely food and a good size portion. We were that impressed we went back the next evening and I went for the curry, massive portion, lovely again and couldn't finish it, the wife went for the breakfast again. Saturday just gone I took my mother and wife along to the cafe as I wanted mother to try the ham, egg and chips, which she did and found it fantastic, I had to do the ham, egg and chips myself also and the wife the breakfast again :) Fantastic Food at very reasonable price. See you very soon Karen and Team who were all very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I go there most Sundays, always a good welcome and lovely food at a very fair price.Also nice views of the marina especially when the sun is shining,a really nice place to have a meal.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant overlooking the harbour. Recommend the Lasagne home made and real chips!

It was very cold day and we hadn`t had anything to since early morning.... it was pretty late for lunch anywhere. We saw this place open and asked if we were too late to order hot food...`No, big smile... We collected the menu and decided on `homemade soup of the day with bread roll` and cheese on toast. While we waited for our order,,to begin with ..just shrieking and loud discussions between the staff. We were the only 2 customers! This went on while we were waiting for our order. The order eventually arrived...( a lot of pinging could be heard ) It wasn`t until I asked what the soup of the day was that I was told it was `homemade vegetable` Not even which vegetables! The `roll` was a barm cake... and a veg spread in the disguise of Kerrygold butter .. My friend recieved 2 x large slices of white, ....not very toasted bread with what appeared to be melted cheese on top Hadn`t seen a grill !...While we were eating ?? the heated discussions escalated one of the `employees` stomping off . We were not at any point approached to discuss or describe what we had ordered. The soup although it appeared to be `homemade` in consistency and a pretty small portion, I must add... was not to my liking... too much of what I think, was pepper. It kept repeating on me for the rest of the afternonn and evening. As we were finishing , and during the meal, it was at times impossible to hear what my friend was saying... to top that while we still had our plates in front of us,, one girl started to sweep the floor under and around our feet!!!!!!! Will Not recommend. I am disgusted with the service we recieved... As paying customers we deserve much ,much better than this... It doesn`t need to be five star !!!! No star and customer care ,consideration and respect is worth so much more...…. I am 69 yrs old,disabled with an invisible disease... Fibromyalgia .. Myself and my friend both felt pretty invisible to you and your staff. Will not be returning... and will pass on your `message` to future customers.... Not cheap either.... Best of luck for the future

Eat here on and off when we are at the Marina, we have never been dissapointed. The staff are all very friendly.

Always love spinnekar and have a great customer service everytime I go to the guy who reviewd and talked about my step son that is not appropriate and by saying we where drinking was totally wrong we had a coffee and yes we where smoking so what spinnekar is an awsome caffee and i only have good words for it..

So we went into the restaurant and waited half an hour for our food. Then I needed the loo and there was only one available , and you know what its like when the door is locked you need to go more . But this was unreasonable as I finished my meal and the door was still locked so much so I asked for a member of the staff to check. And they did and there was a boy in there, his parents outside smoking and drinking. The staff member went out and asked if they could see if there son was OK. Father checked and asked the boy to come out . Still nothing. I went and saw the parents and they said the boy had a bad tummy. We decided to leave and I complained to the staff again. The owner said that she hadn't had time to go all day. Then the abuse came and they were very rude to me and I have to say I was rude back. I left there and after 10 minutes I realised I had left my phone there.. Asking for my phone was a huge joke to the staff and I was forced to climb down, but one loo in a restaurant...…… must be against the law.. staff using it and customers, wonder how clean that makes things for the people who eat there when certain clients don't wash their hands touch handles and then the staff do likewise. I wont be eating there again that's for sure. Reluctantly I had to put one star and would definitely not have, given the choice

Small cafe restaurant overlooking Milford Sound Marina and harbour. Tables inside and outside on a balcony right above the water of the Marina looking over the yachts and other boats. I had a good English style breakfast with coffee. All reasonably priced and tasty. It's all very basic with no frills and the staff are friendly and welcoming and feels very much a local cafe.

I've enjoyed popping in over some years. My Mother would call with her carers [gradually her dementia was gaining ground] and they were always caring and warm in looking after her. My thanks. Carl

Having eaten here in the past we were dissapointed with the meals today. The bacon and sausage baguette had 2 rashers of bacon but only 1 tasteless sausage. The breakfast was ok but again the same tasteless sausage and bread/toast unable to tell which it was. I accept it wasnt expensive but the quality couod have been bettet.

Excellent place for breakfast. Been here many, many times, and it always delivers. The staff are always lovely too.

There is some outside seating for those lovely days and indoor seating which is suited all year round. Portion sizes are perfect and they do an awesome milky coffee. The staff are friendly and always up for a chat.

I have been coming here on and off for years. The food is consistent, good value for money, and tasty. Breakfasts are particularly good. You can either sit inside, or if the weather's good enough, outside on the quayside. This is no fancy restaurant, but a good cafe with a non pretentious service.

I only had a coffee and cake, but what cake it was delicious! Topped off by friendly service, makes this a great place to watch the people and boats go by at Milford Marina.

Went to the Spinnaker for lunch today, it was a miserable day but we had a warm welcome. The food was good and we were served quickly. Homemade chicken and mushroom pie was lovely.

Este es un gran lugar para hacer una parada en medio día o un buen antiguo guiso bien preparado y abundante personal amable y un restaurante, con una agradable vista de la marina. Visitar la marina con la familia hace una gran parada en boxes para ser una taza y un bollo o almuerzo

Una deliciosa comida casera a precios muy razonables. Un gran hallazgo un domingo por la mañana. El personal y la ubicación son estupendas y sin duda lo recomiendo.

Un café sencillo en la marina con vistas. Buena comida y atención sustancial. Atendiendo a la "cuchara" de tipo fritanga menú pero está bien. Los precios y el servicio también bueno, pero el café estaba tibio y sin sabor. Conseguimos reemplazos cuando nos indicó que, con el café de filtro de la jarra al vapor a ser calentar.

I just love my breakfasts, This place deserves a good mention, under £7 for Sausage (2) Bacon (2) Egg (2) beans, mushrooms, toast, fried bread and hot drink. Wife had the smaller breakfast a pound less, and also had tomatoes instead of beans (only wrong note.. tomatoes were cold) But good clean and friendly establishment right alongside the Marina, (Food hygiene rating 5)

We stopped in here for some lunch on a visit to the mariner and it is beyond doubt the best all day breakfast I have ever had. Really reasonable price, plenty of tasty food but not dripping in grease and a choice on eggs and tomatoes or beans. Will definitely visit again.
