Spice2night in Nottingham

My Husband ordered from here today via food hub yet when the food arrived when we went to dish it up the salad that goes with the chicken tikka main was missing. Hubby rung them and asked wether the chicken tikka main should have come with salad and they said yes. Hubby then explained that the salad was missing, the guy on the phone said he wouldn't be sending it out hubby said he would be grateful if they could send it or to us as it's supposed to be a main and we have no salad or anything at home that we could put with it. Nothing arrived so contacted food hub and said the salad for the chicken tikka main didn't arrive they said they would contact the takeaway which they did and the takeaway said it doesn't come with salad. So no full meal for me and no refund. £8.50 for basically a tub of chicken is daylight robbery and I certainly would not have ordered it if I new it didn't come with salad, Especially since my husband had a burger and kebab meat with salad and chips plus a can if pop for £7.50. I have ordered chicken tikka main from here several times before and it has always come with sauce and salad. As they failed to rectify there mistake by sending the salad out and me having to cook some else as I didn't fancy just a tub of chicken for my tea and had nothing I could pair with it to make it a main meal. And them telling lies to either my husband or to foodhub as they said to hubby salad was included when he rung to ask but told food hub, we will know not be using spice2ights again and we have used them for many years including for several years when they were at knights close before moving to beckhampton road as I can't stand people who dont tell the truth

normally excepnelly good food.but tonight the food and service was terrible. It started off 30 mins late,when it did finally arrive it was cold and the chips were hard

i ordered a delivery but took 2 and 1/2 hours the chicken tasted off will not order again

The curry was way too salty and as it was the main it kind of ruined the meal but the naan was alright

made my naan bread with his dirty fingers touched raw chicken didn’t wash him hands then proceeded to make my food without washing his hands

We picked up a couple of Kebabs for tea, not had one in yonks! This was the first time we had used this place. Both kebabs were very nice, lovely fresh made nan bread and had plenty of meat on them. If I had to say anything negative, I would say that there was not enough salad, only got one piece of tomato and two slices of cucumber! Will defo go back! Thanks

First time visiting here. Thought it was a little rude answering the phone as we were ordering when other staff were available. Food was lovely naan's were delicious and freshly made. Only downside I ordered a large doner and salad, it came with one slice of cucumber and half a slice of tomato, dread to think how little you'd get with a small one. Would definitely go again though

I played £35,90 for these food items this second time they have done this I no the owner if he new how and about is workers I don't think he would be happy I am waiting to get hold of him so watch out and check all your food before you leave about for the first photo £6 for this and £35,90 for all you see in photos

Tarka daal was disgusting, not proper at all and tasted weird and I’m convinced the pizza and chapatti were microwaved!

First time ive ordered thought I'd try everything tasted like old oil chips and sfc won't be ordering again just rang them they said they charge it every day no way

We have been regular customers and have usually raved about the quality of the food from here... unfortunately the last 2 deliveries have left a sour taste 😕 we ordered 2 weeks ago and the curries tasted like sour cream or off coconut milk had been used, I telephoned to complain and ended up going to the chippy.... last night we decided to give the benefit of another chance (hoping that the last time was just an off day) and order a Korma and chicken tikka masala it was delivered in a timely manner, but was awful the whole meal ended up in the bin.

I just spent nye on £30 on food. The pizza and garlic bread was so burnt on the bottom that’s all you could taste. I rang them up and was unable to understand what the guy on the phone was saying and when I asked to speak to someone else he said no and started getting annoyed with me as I couldn’t understand a word he kept repeating what he said regardless of the fact I couldn’t understand and said that I MAY get sorted out next time I order so £30 down the drain and no help from them. THANK YOU!!

Was very disappointed with the food. Probably the worst I have had from a spice takeaway I will definitely not go there again If you are looking for a enjoyable takeaway don't order from here

I ordered a chicken curry from spice 2night. The chicken tasted off and was very rubbery. I couldn't eat it. I called the restaurant to advice them, so I didn't have to write a review, but they said the coconut and pineapple makes the chicken taste like that. I advised I've had this flavour from other places and didn't have to complain. They hung up on Me.

Frequently buy from here, very rarely any issues and when there is they try to help out. The food is amazing with loads of flavour. Definitely worth a try!

everything was ok apart from the pizza didn't seem cooked long enough normally on point but a little let down this time

The food was stone cold! The kebab meat was spicy and dry and looked old, the portion size was absolutely shocking the salad was pure onion and very tight with sauce

The chicken badami was lovely. Although the methi blew my head off, they did politely explain on the phone that they make this one very very hot and advised me to leave a note on the order next time. These curries are much better value for money that many others and there is lots of choice of different dishes. My order was delivered bang on time. I would definitely like to order again and try some of their other curries. I definitely recommend this place - just call them or leave a note with any spice preferences. Thank you to the restaurant.

Popadoms were missing, so I spent £5 for chutneys and some thin air. Garlic king prawns were 3 king prawns, cut in half to make 6, with half an onion sliced up. The rest of the meal was really nice but ruined by those few things

I placed an order tonight and it arrived cold, after phoning the restaurant and being told it was sent fresh the whole time with a massive attitude they hung up, when I called back I was told not to call again and eat my cold food. My doner meat was freezing and my chips were even worse. I would avoid at all costs as if there’s an issue there’s nothing they will do about it.

My experience with Spice2Night was highly unsatisfactory. The delivery took an unacceptable 2 and a half hours, and when we called to inquire, we were met with rudeness and a hang-up. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold and was missing 2 portions of rice. The restaurant owner promised a free item as compensation, but it was never delivered, leaving us feeling frustrated and let down. This level of service is far from what one would expect, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

I ordered the wrong curry by mistake all my fault. I called the takeaway to order the curry I should’ve ordered and they delivered it within 10 minutes and then they didn’t even charge me . What nice guys excellent service many thanks 🙏

Been ordering from here for years and was always very good but last couple months it's changed alot and become terrible I've had to ring and complain several times now,and got abuse down the phone, ordered a pizza other night it was that hard and crusty and burnt if I threw,it,at,you would take your head off, it's severely put me off and won't be ordering again

Pizza was placed in a delivery bag sideways meaning it went all over and the cheese went everywhere.

Awful service. Food late, phoned them they said it was on the way. Over half an hour later still hadn't arrived, phone back multiple times and no answer. Finally got through and the guy couldn't find our order, after a while he said food was delivered to wrong address. Asked for full refund, he straight up said no. Said food would be here within the next 25 mins, as it was nearing 11pm we still asked for refund but he said no and we think they cancelled order. Unsure if food is on the way and/or refund.
