Spice Valley in Doncaster

The most horrible customer service I have ever seen. Food was an hour late, the prices shown on menu were not what was applied to the food,the person who took the order didn't clarify any of this. The bill was made according to the online prices but when it came to payment he charged £7 extra saying the menu has changed. Started swearing and was racist when I POLITELY asked the bill didn't say anything about the extra charges. Had to pay the whole amount regardless because he kept shouting and swearing. Never ever going to order from here again. Not recommended.

Food was an hour late. When we were paying, they didn't respond and a few minutes later, sent a message with higher bill amount than the one THEY gave us before. When asked for clarification, they started using obscene words and were even racist. Extremely disappointed.

Best Indian near me! lovely tasty currys we have tried the more expensive ones like elachi poppadoms and cream and others and they are no where near as good..for £35 we got 2 currys (lamb bhuna&lamb madras), 2 rice, poppadoms and pickle tray, garlic naan, onion bahjis and fish pakora really can't go wrong at that price for an indian at all especially when it tastes as good as it does..staff are lovely and friendly too..when mistakes are made they correct them straight away with no issues I honestly can't fault the place at all..definitely my favourite Indian in the doncaster area 👌

Food is absolutely amazing here

Spice valley is the best Indian takeaway in Doncaster, their curries are authentic, delicious and full of flavour. Always arrives piping hot,packaged well always consistently tasty. The people that work there are friendly and really value their customers unlike other places. The food isn't too oily or too salty it tastes like Indian food is supposed to taste like. There's so many restaurants and takeaways that get great reviews yet they don't make the curries right . Thank you always to Spice Valley for a great experience everytime.

Ordered for delivery on a Friday night, super fast delivery!! Delivery driver was so nice. First time ordering here and had my usual which was a chicken korma which was so nice and a Pashuari naan too which was delicious!! Would definitely order again snd 100% recommend

The food is delicious and authentic. I have tried many dishes and have been impressed with them all. I would not go anywhere else. My favourite is their tarka Dhal,, it is sooo delicious and wonderful. Do not hesitate to order from this takeaway, you will not be disappointed. The staff are so friendly and happy to make the dishes to your liking. I will be ordering again soon.

The special biryani was yesterdays, the sauce was under-seasoned, and the nan very leathery ,tough and not freshly cooked, not a good experience, but i guess thats what to expect when ordering a pick up meal at 5.30 pm for 6pm, all leftovers , stodgy rice ,from the day before in my opinion, I shall not be ordering food from here again, Very ,very disappointing,Asda do a far superior takeaway, so Spice valley ---Hang your heads in shame! It was rubbish!

Absolutely delicious food, the last time I enjoyed authentic food like this was when I was in Kerala! Really tasty and the man I spoke to recommended a dish for my son which he loved. We will be back - thank you.

Absolutely diabolical. Ordered and everything was fine. Gave them a call an hr later seeing how long it would be as they originally stated 40 mins. They told us they aren't delivering and thats that.

The order got delayed three times on the Just Eat app so it ended up taking nearly two hours to be delivered but the food was delicious so we didn’t care too much. Best curry I’ve had in Doncaster

I never leave reviews and mean ever, but this is the third time this month we’ve ordered from spice valley, it just gets better the chicken is tender and actually has flavour, you can see the tomatoes, chillis, peppers they use. Poppadoms always crispy and their names are amazing. I’ll give you a clue lamb saag non spicy! Is my regular order. Keep it up gents it’s a proper good weekend curry!

Foods always great service usually is. The last two times I've rang they've closed early and now the minimum order is £20 so unless I buy excess food I'm not going to eat I can't order this was always my go to place.... disappointed now !

Absolutely fab tasting curry, everything is cooked correctly. All fresh and beaut tasting. I only eat Indian from 2 places. This one and a 5* restaurant in Northampton. So just tells it all there. Would 100% recommend to friend and family. Thank you.

The nicest Indian food I have ever eaten in Doncaster. My partner and I have tried many in Doncaster and have never settled on one. Now we have found our Indian food, the delivery drivers are always polite and wished me a happy new year.

Note this takeaway only accepts cash even though menus (including the images on this page) state otherwise. Luckily I just had enough on me to cover the bill however maybe not that lucky as food was average at best, unlikely to use again in the future.

We just had a lovely take away from here. Everything was good and we tried quite a few different things. Collection was spot on time and portions were really good. The person we spoke to and collected from was also lovely, really pleasant and polite. Will definitely be making this a regular!

You really need to look at your customer service, appalling service, and the lady I spoke to very, very rude after complaining. 2.5 hours waiting time, one meal completely missed.

Food really nice but delivery time is a bloody joke was told 1hour and it's been 3 hours .would rather eat else were than wait that long

The food from here is lovely, however: This weeks order that was collected was incorrect for the second week running. You delivered the correct starter very quickly but we'd ordered 2 portions and only received one. Last week the order was totally wrong on collection and you quickly brought the right order round and took the wrong order with you. Week before we ordered for delivery and it took 1hrs 40. When I rang after an hour you said you'd told me on the phone it would be over an hour. I'd ordered online so hadn't spoken to anyone. It was eventually delivered lukewarm. Your food is lovely and we don't want to go elsewhere but the mistakes are every week!

Food is always nice and the people are so polite much different to other local takeaways who can be very rude.

Ordered through just eat with a delivery time of 6.30 supplied by them. After numerous calls and promises still no show after two hours . Even after the just eat app said it it had been delivered. Absolute joke even after speaking to two of spice valley's employees/agents.

Best around. Order here every week without fail and never fails to satisfy us. Amazing authentic taste. I'm so glad to have found this place again. The original owner of Asian spice from Sandringham Road. The food is as fresh as can be, very hot, cater for preference of spice. Nothing is too much to ask of from this guy. Such lovely staff and very informative. Love it! Please if you like curries but not spicy try the makuwahla you won't get it the same anywhere

Cancelled order as they had no drivers, rang me back after ordering and asked if I could collect. Probably best to stay away if you actually want your food.
