Spice Up in City of London, Westminster

I recently dined at Spice Up in Whitton, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As a lover of Indian cuisine, I have high standards, and this restaurant surpassed all my expectations.

Simple but cool decor...lovey friendly helpful service.. Choice of bottled beers and limited but decent wine. But oh my god the the food is worth a little wait. Small but delicious starters and the most wonderful flavours for main Curry's. Loved it.. T.Croft

Spent a fun Evening at Spice Up, the food delicious- ordered the Vegan set Menu. beautifully presented Thali and full of flavours and the starters were crispy and light. Sheetal the owner was friendly and made sure you were looked after. The restaurant was great for large groups of 8 or more - lots of space so not all on top of each other and BYO a bonus!….. We shall be back.

Wonderful authentic Indian cuisine, super delicious and great priced too! Went there for a dinner with friends and tried a variety of different dishes. All yummy!

Recently visited Spice Up after a recommendation from a friend; amazing food, lovely welcoming owner and great prices, would absolutely go back just for the lamb Samosas. Can't wait to visit again.

Finally got to visit after being told that the food was great by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. I had a thali which provided a huge amount to eat and lots of different authentic flavours. The butter chicken and lamb were amazing and my son loved the biryani which was a first time for him. Having been to Delhi recently I think this restaurant does a great job maintaining authenticity whilst catering for western palette a little. Can’t wait to go back

We had a lovely family night out here, food was delicious and plenty of it! We had the thali tray which was perfect as we got to try a bit of each. Kids enjoyed the butter chicken and chicken biriyani. Both very tasty, especially the butter chicken, best I’ve tasted. This is BYOB, so always a great saving on the budget. Our only comment would be the acoustics.. was a busy night and felt a bit loud. Something to modify that would be great.

Sooo good!! So nice to find a place that offers AUTHENTIC Indian food. I was transported back to India.. DELICIOUS. The owner is so friendly.. we didn’t want to leave … MUST GO

Delicious, freshly cooked, authentic Indian food. Would highly recommend the samosas and butter chicken. Sheetal makes you feel very welcome and couldn't be more helpful.

This must be the best restaurant in whitton..guys do me a favour, go there and give it a go, honest food, amazing people and fair prices... OUTSTANDING!!!

Delicious, really authentic tasting food - different to your typical Indian restaurant in a good way. It genuinely tasted like home-cooked food. Slow-cooked lamb curry, chicken biryani and stuffed parathas were the highlights.

I really wanted to like this restaurant and to support local businesses but our experience was not good. The service was very slow despite it being almost empty. The food is expensive compared to other nearly indian restaurants. The food we had was very bland despite me asking for it to be spicy - I really would not have known it was a curry as it tasted more like a stew. The decor is nice and you can take your own drink but this does not make up for the issues.

Really enjoyed the fabulous food here. Value for money and well worth a visit. Sheetal always makes you feel welcome and it's bring your own booze which is great!

The most wonderful, authentic Indian food. Have been here twice and will be returning as for me it’s probably one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

Food and host were excellent. Friendly lady who catered for us in a very easy going manner. If you’re looking to have a great local curry, easy access next to public transport… Whitton Train Station…this is the place. i’ve lived in whitton my entire life who thought i’d have a curry in the old bank👏😊

The food is really wonderful - so fresh and aromatic. Don’t miss the chicken tikka and the aubergine potatoes! A great venue for a big gathering.

Amazing food, fab venue! Literally dreaming of the next time I can eat those aubergine potatoes….so yum! As a Coeliac, this is also a great place to go if you want food that is delicious and gluten-free. Will definitely be heading back very soon :)

A wonderful evening with exceptionally tasty food- the lamb samosas were very flavoursome and cooked to perfection. I followed this with the vegetarian Biryani- a dish I hadn’t tried before: what a delightful surprise; it was cooked to perfection. Friends had prawn and lamb curries...

Great food and friendly staff. Best Indian food in the area. Affordable prices. I recommend the Golgappas, samosas and the Daal Makhani.
