Always had a nice meal delivered but on this occasion the onion bhajis were definitely cooked twice greasy burnt rock hard and at nearly £5 we were s0 disappointed we won't be using this restaurant again thay will go out of business if thay carry on dishing this out

The food and service was okay. However there was guy glasses who was very rude and was always on his phone on some app called azer image of the guy below. I hope he changes how he acts and i might review higher.

My Sister, my Son and myself had fantastic food that was served in a polite and friendly manner within a joyous and slightly raucous atmosphere for Xmas Dinner.

I tried their butter Chicken with naan which was so delicious. The stuff was so friendly.

The food was incredibly full of flavour. Mohammed was very attentive and was really interested in our opinion about the comparison of the takeaway we’d had from them recently with the meal we ate today in the restaurant. In our opinion the quality and flavour was the same. It’s the best chicken biryani that I’ve had in a long time.

Ordered takeaway. Food took over 2 hours to come after being told it would be 30 minutes. Then was lied to numerous times over the phone.

We had chicken Biriyani and it was one of the best I have had also Lamb karai which was fresh and tasty lovely clean Restaurant too thanks

Orderd via phone was told more expensive than just eat so queried this, collected food no flavour to it at all packaging boiling but the food inside cold clear as day kept in a hot holding area will not be returning again!

Very good customer service, food is excellent very tasteful and spice is just how I want it. Don’t understand the bad reviews as my experience here has always been excellence

Went on Saturday night, food and service were excellent, I will definitely go back. Only us in there which was a shame because it deserves to be full.

Just been for a meal had chicken Biriyani with a masala sauce and a roti really nice and will return saw the bad reviews and thought oh no but glad I tried for myself

This is the worst curry I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs. The place wants closing down, expensive and awful food. I had a lamb Zeera which claimed to be (fairly hot) but was bland and tasteless. The Pilau Rice was like Couscous and clumped together like an Asdas own brand packet rice. Chicken Tikka Naan wasn’t impressive but did the job. To top it off we were charged £7.50 for a BOTTLE of cobra not a draft pint a BOTTLE. 2 poppadoms each for 7 people with 2 pickle trays came to £25.80 and these were probably the highlight of the meal. The building itself is great; however, you’d expect with the prices of the food some sort of heating or even a table cloth on the table but no never mind.

Awful and cold. Terrible food, terrible portions. £25.80 for 14 poppadoms and 2 pickle trays. £7.50 for a bottle of Cobra. No wonder we were the only ones in there. The market has spoken. Blandy has a lot to answer for. £30.40pp with no starters.

This was a take away! Half the curry was in the bottom of the brown bag !! No care what so ever !! What was left wasn’t beep appetising either bread folded up and squashed to swathe in a plastic bag and no care or help from just eat won’t order again

Would have put 0 stars if I could have! We have ordered from here a few times and have always got what we ordered, on time and piping hot! Tonight that changed! 60 odd £ order that came over 2 hours after we ordered it, to top it off we had missing items and at best the food was warm! After a few phone calls to find out were the food was it turned up! If you want hot food, on time and what you ordered, dont phone spice & rice! We will not be recommending or ordering from these again!!!

Ate one of the worst biriyani in my life. It was totally nightmare. Looks like rice was cooked yesterday and chicken was like rubber. Want to give 0 star, but no option.

The food is lovely here but the prices have recently gone up quite a lot and our regular order was an extra £20!

Order from them twice and the food both times has been brilliant.

Probably the worst Indian food I've ever eaten.

Charged me 28 quid for 7 tiny little 330ml drinks because that's all they had. I really liked it otherwise but this obscene drink rip off means I won't be returning. I'm also pretty sure I heard a microwave in the back which is concerning at any restaurant.

Before ordering I rang the takeaway and asked specifically if they used fresh vegetables in their vegetarian dishes as I am fed up of receiving takeaway curries with frozen mixed veg in the dish. I was reassured that they only use fresh vegetables. This was a LIE the dish contained frozen mixed veg out of a bag however there appeared to be fresh cabbage and potato in the Balti dish. The onion bhajis were nice, the naan was heavy and thick. Won't be ordering from here again.

Hands down one of the best Indians I have ever had. I had butter chicken with a smooth sauce and it was amazing!!! Partner had chicken jalfrazi. Absolutely amazing and came within the time. Will defo be ordering again!!!

Just spent £40 on food. Chapati £1:50 each were crispy.. Chicken madras was like chicken curry. The chicken if which some were not cooked, pink. Photos taken.no more from here....

Food was an hour late, cold, watery curry and missing items and very expensive compared with others. Never order again.

Was told half hour 45 mins but it came after over hour and ten mins later. Food was soo greasy. The madras was soo garlicky. Just did not enjoy one bit.

I do love Indian food and this place had a very experienced chef which are very scarce at the moment in England . inspirational dishes without costing the earth. The lamb was slow cooked just like l prefer This his a family restaurant with a modern colourful lighting with a bar with modern creations

Now Spice and Rice not Woodhouse Spice. New place to try. Lovely staff and good food. Visited now a few times, last night 26th September. What a fab place. Staff are lovely and food is amazing. Deserves to be much busier on a Saturday night.

One of the highest quality Indian restaurants in South Yorkshire. Visited a few years ago when it had different owners and was called Woodhouse Tandoori(?), that was good, but this is even better! Lovely decor, fresh, extremely tasty food and the friendliest and most helpful service. Not a microwave or Patak's jar in sight! 😊 Highly recommended.

Just about to knock on the 60 door and just had one of the best takeaways, mixed kebab starter followed by tandoori chilli bhuna with special pilaf rice and special nan compliments to the chef

Just ordered my first take away from these guys and I was not disappointed! The food came 10 minutes early, was DELICIOUS... non non nom to the max!!. I tried coconut pilau rice for the first time and it's now my new favourite food. Ordered a king prawn dish and got lots and they were massive. Dont deprive yourself...try SPICE & RICE as soon as you can 😁😁😁

I can honestly say after the 8 takeaways I've previously worked for woodhouse spice is the most clean and organised takeaway out of them all! I am now their driver with great knowledge of sheffield streets.. making sure I get to your address in minutes.. I can't believe the size and potential of this place,yet has a lack of customers!! This is the first time I have ordered from this Takaway, the food was delivered at the correct time Requested. My food was piping hot, the peshwari Nan was big,hot and tasty. My special tandoori Massala was very nice with big large prawns, tender meat and a nice sauce. The pilau rice was plentiful. A nice Experience and I know l will order from them again.

Utterly fantastic food as always! Really brilliant new dishes on menu without loosing classics. I do not eat indian food anywhere else. Staff are always polite, helpful and never intrude. Best indian food in Sheffield by a country mile.

Over an hour late - new staff don't have a clue - foods rubbish - rude staff - avoid !!!!

Though this place did have nice food, I have been spoken to in a extremely rude and patronising way. I asked to order a chicken tikka saag, however this rude and ignorant man said to me 'love this isn't a Chinese, you don't no what saag is'.and then continued to slam the phone down. I was extremely offended by this. Not only was I spoken to rudely, I was insulted thoroughly. In addition I am half Indian and therefore have a full understanding of what saag is. I will not be going here again due to the rudeness and lack of respect I got.

absolutley terrible.... worst indian meal I have eaten in years, starters must have been made days before and reheated, greasy stuck together rice and two of the four currys were almost inedible. when we told them about the poor food we were told the would do something 'special' for our next visit (like we would ever return) and offered us a free drink to make up for the £60+ we had just thrown away as we were walking out. how does it stay in business???
