Incredible food, really great value and great service from Vraj. We had paneer, chili wings, lamb and dhal. All delicious and the naan was soft and chewy.

18 Feb Saturday mornings is South Indian Buffet. We went in for the dosas, and they were excellent. The sambar (dahl soup, that goes with it) was very good, it had a decent amount of veges. Most restaurants give you watered rubbish. The coconut chutney was a bit watery and I let them know, maybe it will be fixed next time. The potato curry was very tasty too. 24 Jan Palak Paneer - good Aloo Gobi - too much potato Butter Chicken - good Chicken Tikka Masala - good Tandoori Roti Garlic Naan Tandoori Butter Naan Goan Vindaloo Prawn - only 7 prawns and nothing else, tasty, but disappointing for a main. Great food great service with a smile. We have mixed grills , chilli panner dry fry and keema , lovely tasty food and lovely cold beers.

Horrendous dining experience!!! Poor management and service marred our meal when a hair was discovered in our food. The employee's response, "What do you want me to do?" soured the atmosphere, making it impossible to enjoy our meal. We had to explicitly request the dish's removal from the bill, a basic courtesy overlooked. Which should have been offered before having to raise this ourselves. This exemplifies abysmal customer service. The manager dismissed our concerns and said next you come it will be better. Shockingly, the manager's solution was to waiver the service charge from the bill?!! Not only is a service charge optional, he felt it was fair to suggest this would solve the problem. Therefore resulting in nothing being done to address the core issue, leaving us dissatisfied and frustrated. After refusing to do anything, he quickly returned to a table to have a pint with his customers/friends. Will not return.

I’ve been going to the Spice Rack for about 15 years now and had never had any problems on previous visits. Though the last time we were there was 3 years ago. We went there this week and the food was terrible. We ordered Mixed Pakora and Chili Panner Dry Fry for starters and my wife had Vegetable Maharaja for main and I had Desi Chicken Curry. The Pakoras were nice but the Chili Panner didn’t have (that I could find) any actual chilis in it and it certainly didn't taste of chilis. My wife had asked for the Vegetable Maharaja to have extra chilis in it and in fairness they did try and spice it up for her. However, it had been made with what looked and tasted like frozen mixed veg! It was very bland. With my Desi Chicken, it was bland, watery and the chicken was tough as old boots. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly but the food has seriously gone down hill. It’s a real shame but I doubt I’ll ever be going back again. I’ve rustled up tastier, more authentic curries on a Saturday at home after watching a 10 minute Youtube video.

Not a great experience. Restaurant was a cold place and it took ages to get staff to turn the heating up. The downside on the food was the mixed grill, which was served on a wooden platter ; this was colder than the restaurant! Normally, mixed grills are served on a hot skillet with onions and peppers, nut at Spice Rack and it's unfortunate. Chicken methi was a flop, served in methi sauce, I thought it was supposed to be a dry dish with chicken and methi leaves, their one looked like soup! As a table of 6 guests we left disappointed and dissatisfied. We won't be returning.

Yet again Spice Rack and team has lived to all our party celebration expectations. From food to drinks, from staff to ambience, from DJ to security, everything was PERFECT. Bandish and Nav understood our party requirements for 18th birthday party for our Son and executed it as promised. Big shout out DJ BASS ll BASS and photographer Aakash organised by Bandish. And thank you to Nav for allocating the team of staff members Parth, Sai, Shruti, Om & Jaimica who took complete care of us and our guests. I highly recommend Spice Rack for your special celebrations, 5* all the way xx

Just wanted to mention Spice Rack and the team. We held a family dinner at the restaurant, and they were fabulous throughout the evening, from the moment we walked into a calm and empty restaurant, to the moment we left nearly 3.5hrs later. The restaurant became full over the course of the first hour and half, and service levels did not drop. Serving a group of 23 brings it own challenge whilst still looking after other patrons. A job well done. Food is definitely on point. Everything we ordered was on point. Papad Crispy Corn - Definitely being added to the order list next time we are in. Gunpowder Fries - Kind of like Nandos peri fries, but better! Salt and Pepper Broccoli - Was expecting a deep fried tempura version, but actually was not deep fried at all. A welcome change actually, and very well flavoured. Broccoli was al dente which was a nice touch. Chilli Garlic Mogo - Different again from most places, as had a lasan (garlic) chutney vibe, but still managed to keep the Mogo crunchy. Vegetable Manchurian - The Manchurian balls did not get soggy and the sauce was brilliant, especially with the fresh crispness of the spring onions. Mari Chicken Tikka - First time we ordered this, and definitely won't be the last! Something very different to just the normal Chicken Tikka Seekh Kebab - Could have been a bit more girthy, but flavour wise, delicious. Tawa fish - Different to fish pakora, and I'm all for it. Felt like a Goan version with a semolina coating. Chilli Cheese Naan - Could have eaten this all day long, wish it was a less mature cheese, but I guess that's a personal preference. Chilli Paneer - Enjoyed by all the vegetarians, not really I dish for me as not a fan of Paneer in general. Daal Tadka - Loved it with the Tandoori Paratha Kadai Keema Peas - my preference on Keema is a slightly dryer version, which this was. Chicken biryani - Tasty and flavourful Jeera Rice - Exactly what it says on the tin Butter Naan - Soft pillowy and a perfect vessel for all the curries Tandoori Paratha - A welcome change to just naan

One of the worst experience. I have booked my wife’s 50th birth day party for 35 people . They charges us £30 Per person. The food is so awful. Service is so pathetic . For example they put 14 people on one table , kept one small bowl Of rice and small Bowls of 3 mixed items For 14 people . Food is very limited and nobody interested to bring more food even though they call It set menu . When we complained , one of the staff went to our other table and took some of their dal and left on our table. (Those people were waiting for theirs) we had serious arguments and security guys were almost surrounded. The manager incharge said they never had any issue with any customer and he was asking me why am I Creating a scene . Their staff attitude is very bad . Don’t waste your hard earning money and spoil your day. I would give 0.5 star out of 10. Not worth it .

04th July we celebrated our Ruby Anniversary at Spice Rack Lounge. Bandish helped us to organise a set menu & he made sure everything went smoothly. The food was excellent & the service was brilliant. Highly recommend Spice Rack Lounge for all your celebration.

We went to Spicerack Lounge for my cousins 50th birthday party with a group of approximately 50 people. From the start to the end the night went flawless. We had a designated waiter for our area who was ALWAYS attentive as if our comfort was his mission. What can i say about the food! Very tasty well cooked and most important ... it was FRESH! The service at the bar was second to none.. we had many drinks and each and every guest of ours could not stop appreciating the bartenders they made whichever drink we asked for! Our guests were impressed with the venue due to the fact the staff food and quality was ON POINT!

Food is good - but a restaurant is more than just the food - it’s an experience. While we were eating they were hanging up a balloon bridge at the entrance where the loudest bang balloons popped NINE times over dinner - which made us jump each time while eating - before my tolerance to the inconsideration (of getting a display ready for arriving guests experience at the expense of paying guest like us) ran out. I spoke to the manager who coldly comforted me with ‘it’s just a balloon’ - and craftily waited until the bill was paid before reconvening. Terrible consideration for the already paying customers and for that reason I shan’t be back!

We had our staff party there on 16.12 .22 , really good service and food, helped that we had set menu as there was 30 of us. They catered for our dietary requirements , had good music. We arranged a friends and family event to celebrate my mum’s 75th birthday at Spice Rack, Stanmore. The place was all set for us, and we had a warm welcome from the staff and the manager ( Ravi). Service was very organised and attentive, and all the meals were well presented. The food was cooked fresh as such it was served as and when we demanded, and the staff managed it really well to cater to close to 40 guests attending the birthday. Though we had a set menu the owner (Bandish) added a few dishes and soft drinks on the house. That was a really nice gesture and would like to thank Bandish. The manager, Ravi even arranged for a beautiful deck so that everybody had a nice view when my mum cut the cake. I would definitely recommend Spice Rack Lounge for regular dining as well as a special occasion which you want to cherish for life.

The bar service - there wasn’t enough staff to service. We had a booking of 25. This booking was made over a month in advance. Surely there should have arrange enough staff to serve large bookings. It took us over an hour to get our drinks sorted.

We had our Birthday party and the whole event was so well taken care of by the manager Mr Pranav and his team Jateen and Mohit who were from the start to end with the same enthusiasm and quick service with a smile, and a big thanks to the chef team back in the kitchen who had put in their hard work and expertise in making such delicious food and the entire menus was just awesome in taste. I will highly recommend this venue for all family functions, looking forward to organising the coming function in my family and friends group. I will rate my experience as a five-star for Spice Rack Lounge.

We hired an area in spice rack lounge for my daughters 2nd birthday party. The guys were very helpful and accommodating while organising the party and they made sure that we were able to have the type of party we wanted. The food was amazing and the guests had a great time! We had an awesome time at spice Rack when we visited (on the 17th April ‘22 ), with some friends. The music was great, and the food was delicious. The place was buzzing with electrifying atmosphere, and the hospitality by the management and the staff who attended us (Shakshi) was excellent. A place worth visiting, specially on the music night👍

We visited for a birthday celebration for dinner and drinks, with variation of Non-Veg and Veg starters and main course - the food was delicious and a generous portion size. Both cocktails and mocktails were on point! As the evening progresses, there is entertainment and guest artists performing which was amazing! Definitely recommend for a catch up with friends, dinner with family or to celebrate a special occasion.

Ordered takeaway due to lockdown restrictions. Order placed swiftly and prepared promptly. Ordered a various range of starters and main dishes. All the paneer and mogo dishes were well flavoured. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend the food as it tasted delicious.

I love Spice Rack Lounge- literally perfect in every way! The aesthetic classy yet cosy, making it perfect for al occasions. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful booking a table, recommending new dishes and providing 5* service. The food is DELICIOUS, every dish I’ve tried (both veg and non veg) is cooked fresh and served beautifully. Taste wise it’s beyond 5*. My favourite dishes are the veg Manchurian, jeera chicken, chicken dry fry, desi chicken, mogo, and all the paneer dishes. Everyone needs to go to experience the food, atmosphere and friendly staff!

Very poor, firstly, the cobra beer was flat, when I asked the waiter to change it he said it isn't flat, rubbed an empty coke bottle around the rim, smashed down on the glass causing the glass to chip, splinters of glass ended up on the table including on my son's plate. He took the glass away and returned 10 mins later with the same chipped glass and equally flat cobra. I witnessed at least 2 others return their beer that night, so clearly there was an issue with it. Had it been done in an appropriate manner I wouldn't have minded, but he was rude and dismissed me. The same broken glass which had clearly been topped up with the same flat beer in not acceptable.The poppadoms which we ordered were the size of 50p pieces, again, disappointing.The service was very slow, it took at least an hour for our mains to arrive, we didn't want to cause a scene after the beer incident so just went along with it.People were walking around the restaurant in all directions, not wearing masks.We will not return and will ensure all of our friends are aware of the lack of customer care.There are much better restaurants very close by, you will not need to climb a mountain to find them!

Just been to Spice a Rack Lounge as it was help out to eat out and I’ve not eaten here for a long time. Ordered paneer kadhai and vegetable kolapuri. A garlic nan and chilli and garlic nan. Requested my nan beclike corton wool not papadom. The paneer kadhai had more sauce than paneer. However, the extraordinary thing was both mains had the same sauce. But different veg. They were no different. Both were very tangy tomato sauces. No taste of spices. The nans arrived wrong. And 1 was thin and burnt. So I sent them back. We had to request again wait ages for the nab to come which had barely any garlic or butter. Poor to say the least. I requested mint sauce and got a tiny bowl of yoghurt. Service was poor. They were only interested in taking orders thereafter it was downhill. There must be better Indian restaurants in the area. Or else stay home and save your money.

'Eat out to help out' night so naturally the place was brimming with diners but covid-19 measures taken well and there was adequate spacing etc. Service was slow - 45mins for order to be placed - not ideal when parked in Sainsburys 90min free car park across the road - but expected I guess as it was a busy night. Food flavourings could be improved, my tawa chicken was ok - nothing to rave about. Tandoori chicken wings and the samosas were delicious though! Good ambience, great decor, friendly service but someone needs to have a quiet word with whoever was in charge of the music - it doesn't need to be banging when families are dining

I dined at Spice Rack Lounge for the very first time.It had been on my to do list for a long time but I wanted to share how disappointed I was with my experience.We had pre booked a table via telephone. My husband was told it's very busy and we had to book for either 6pm or 8pm. We booked for 6pm.During our dining time, the restaurant was three quarters empty, yet we were shoved into an area with three tables of two people each with barely one meter gap between each. We were told by the host that they needed the table back by 8pm. We said no problem then proceeded to wait for exactly 28 minutes for the waitress to take our food order. Insult was added to injury when she took the order of the couple sitting next to us before taking ours though we were at the table before them.By this point, my patience was wearing thin.To top it all off, when she finally took our order, she informed us that a couple of the dishes we wanted were not available. General restaurant etiquette would indicate that when you seat customers, you inform them, at the beginning if dishes are not available. She asked if we wanted any other replacements, I said she could go ahead with the order and I'll browse the menu in the meantime and when I'm ready, will order something else. She proceeded to tell us the chef needs the order all at the same time, so i went ahead without adding to my order. This was most bizarre- Never has this happened to me in a restaurant before- either before or after COVID. Plus, we received an incorrect bill at the end- double what we were supposed to pay!The food when it did arrive was lovely though- perhaps takeaway would be the best option here.

I went to Spice Rack on Monday with my family. My first visit in 2020. Service was terrible and chaotic and the food even worse when it finally arrived in dribs and drabs. Observing other customers it seemed to be the theme of the day. The food there had always been full of flavour and spice but what we ate that day was bland, dry and tasteless. Up to this visit Spice rack has always been my favourite restaurant but after this experience I will not be going back.

Spice Rack has been a lifesaver during lockdown. We have been getting a delivery from them every week.Food is exceptional every time and it has its own unique taste that you don’t get elsewhere. The barbecue menu is also amazing!!! If you fancy cooking it yourself.Looking forward to when they open up fully. Missing the live football and the club nights!!!

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend , thought I’d go try it for my self . Food was very tasty , especially the tandoori chicken wings and garlic chilly mogo . They are also doing free meals for NHS staff which is an incredibly generous and thoughtful gesture during these current times . Hats off to management , I will defo recommend this place !

I came here with my cousin and ordered quite a few dishes but was later told many were not available. We ordered poppadoms but they gave us prawn crackers instead..? The rest of the food was pretty average and the place was pretty empty so won't be coming again. The waiter was trying to act like he is working at a 5 star hotel which wasn't working and was very cringey! He also gave us the wrong bill costing £60, lucky we checked and got our bill at £40.

Ordered the lollipop chicken which came dry without sauce and was advised that is how it comes when I pointed out it says on the menu that it should have sauce it was iterated that is how they make it.The chilli paneer tasted of not much.The dahi puri had no pomegranate in it again pointed out that it should have and was told that they didn't have any but was not advised of this upon ordering.The lamb chops were edibleWill not be returning to eat would advise to go elsewhere.

Visited the Spice Rack Lounge last Saturday night after a long time. Used to be a weekly regular there. Since then it's been renovated and under new management. Upon entering there were a fair few people dining, but after they left the place was deserted. We were told different prices for items from various bar staff, and the D.J. Pinkz on the night was nothing to write home about. So much so that we left not long afterwards. The confusing aspect was the doormen charging people to enter after 10pm! The mind boggles as this certainly is not the West End and even many places in central London no longer charge. No regulars that used to be there, and nowhere near as fun as what it was. No energy, no vibrancy, no people! Oh and the food wasn't all that before the new management, so if the chefs are the same I won't be eating here!

This place used to be good many years ago. Went for dinner yesterday and found chicken dish undercooked and chicken was so tough to cut it was terrible. Starters came out cold the service wasn’t bad just the food was a major letdown very disappointing they had also run out of kingfisher .

Awesome place. I hired out a section for my 40th birthday party, everything down the to planning and even the support on the day was spot on. The Dj's on the night played were fantastic and even there was someone at the venue capturing some great Pictures. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a good night. The only problem was waiting 30 mins to be served by the bar being staffed by 2 people on a busy evening!

The food was good and the ambience was good. Value for money! Music was ok! not that great! The service was very slow which was disappointing!

My work colleagues have been raving about this place for weeks now so we all arrange a small get together last week! I was not disappointed! Food was absolutely outstanding and so was the service!

Loved the new refurb , Food was great and service was good too . Good DJ music on Fridays and Saturdays , had loads of fun , you must visit !

Went with the family for a meal , great food and service , improvements have been made on the food compared to how It was with previous management. Will return again , highly recommend !

I was saddened by the whole experience. It seemed so transactional. It isn't a place that you can relax. We were pestered from the start regarding our order. It seemed as though they were eager for us to order and leave despite it being quite quiet for a Friday evening. We have bought a few rounds of drinks as well as food and the bar staff still came across as rude. As soon as we finished our meal, our bill came and it seemed all rushed. They told us that they needed our table when there were plenty of other tables free. We pointed this out to the manager only to be shut down. He said we could go to the bar but we did not want to spend any more money here.

We popped in here the day we moved for a quick meal. Service very friendly and good. Food was good. Looking forward to visiting again when we are more settled in our home.

Have eaten on both weekdays and weekends there recently and must say the food, service and atmosphere has been always been great. The management Bandish, Kajal and Godfrey always make us feel very welcomed.

Shocking service waited 30 minutes for popadoms and drinks. When food arrived wasn’t great infant was chaos. Lovely surroundings but over priced drinks and rubbish service. #avoid

I had the worst experience here. First the bartender tried to over charge me with 2 drinks that I did not order. Also, the lady who manages or owns the place is so rude and has no idea how to run a business or knows anything about customer service. I used to go to spice rack lounge and think it has gone downhill since the new people have taken over. I will never return. Be careful here, they will try and rip you off.

Food has gone down hill since the last time I visited this place furthermore 3 dishes were excluded from bill as I complained due to either being too salty or lacking flavour to which the manager reacted in quite an abrupt manner, the evening got worse when the bill included items which we did not order! Will not be wasting my time and money at this establishment again would suggest potential customers to go for Regency instead which always delivers.

Welcome at reception was very warming and shown to the table. Serving staff very good, suggesting popular dishes tailored to our tastes, informative. Had a very pleasant experience.

From start to finish I did not feel like my business with them was valued and my complaint was not looked after to a end that I was out of pocket and lost money due to their non ability to account the fund of money that was lodged with them for a team Christmas part. I was promised over several conversations that my money was refunded but never was.

Dropped in with a Few mates who lived local. Had a nice quiet Dinner but could also tell that it possibly gets busy seeing the Head Bar man teaching other staff how to make various cocktails. I was impressed to how Friendly the staff were to me and each other as they were trained in a fun atmosphere. Friends let me know how its a Great venue late in the evening. Will be definitely be back.

So went there NYE. Had previously reserved our tickets. Doors should have opened at 8.00pm sharp. We were made to wait outside in the cold for 30 mins while they were still getting things ready! However, some guests were given exclusive rights to be inside? So disorganised! We are regulars and have been going to Spice Rack for more than 15 years and probably the longest loyal customers of Spice Rack. Under this new management the place is a shambles because of the Floor Manager who hasn’t got a clue about customer care! Finally the doors opened. We paid £30 each for our tickets which included complimentary prosecco and canapés. There were no canapés, instead there was a buffet set out at the rear of the place which unfortunately we never got a chance to try?! The complimentary drink was less than quarter full. We noticed that other guests were going back to refill their glasses, so my partner took the opportunity to do the same. However, my partner got picked on by Godfrey the rude insulting floor manager who told him we were only allowed one drink each. To which my partner replied “What about all the other guests helping themselves to more drink? He had no answer? The next thing we notice is the bouncer coming over to the bar area where we were having our drinks and asking us to step outside to the smoking area where he could have a word with us? We said, whatever he had to say could be said there, but he insisted we step outside. Next thing we knew, Godfrey says, take your money and never come back here again! We were totally shocked and angry at such behaviour!! As we were walking out the front door, we reiterated our disgust at being picked on and treated in this manner, considering we were regulars and had recommended this place to many of our friends and family!! To add insult to injury, Godfrey then tells us that we are barred for life!! It takes just one, bad mouthed incompetent member of staff to put you off going to this place for life. We have eaten in many restaurants in UK and around and world and have never been treated in such a despicable manner!! Thanks Godfrey for ruining our NYE celebrations!! Note to the owner, find yourself a competent manager before you lose any more customers!!

Amazing food and superb Ambience I must say!! We came to Spice Rack Lounge for a Work Christmas Dinner/Party, that definitely ended up a night to remember! Bandish saved our night and gave us a last minute booking due to a few mishaps with our previous place. A big Thanks to Bandish for personally looking after us and making sure everything was taken care off. The staff were very friendly and the DJ's on the night rocked the dance floor!! We are definitely looking to go back there again and would recommend it to anyone who wants excellent food and dance
