Frequently use this fast food takeaway. Great food

We ordered masala sauce and were given korma sauce. The popadoms were stale. The large fried rice was boiled rice. The large chips was so small it only served one person. Most of the food was cold. We used to love this place and have ordered for many years, but, I will never order from here again.

King kebab supposedly more like a kids portion, donner meat was like cardboard. Pathetic take away

Ordered at 6pm a grill box!! Nothing huge or elaborate..Now 7pm and after a phone call told there very busy may be another 20 mins. Can they not tell you that when you order!! Ridiculous service. Would be quicker walking over and back in the time its taken . Won't be using again keep thinking the service will get better...just kidding ourselves on i think..

This is the B&Q of takeaways, flat pack with self assembly required. Chicken Bhoona, you get tub of chicken & sauce separatel. Kebab, you get a pitta bread (not even opened), tub of kebab meat, tub of sauce & salad in a tub. You then get to assemble the food and like a flat pack from B&Q it's cold & bland. Avoid if you like your takeaway preparing your food ready for eating

Three times now, delivered Irn Bru instead of the Pepsi listed on the order. Asked for no salad or sauces with the grill box and it actually looks like they added extra! Won't be ordering again.

Ordered a munchy box but it ended up just pakora, chips and donner with nan and sauces. Should've had onion rings and chicken chaat

Disappointing. Asked for no coriander in the meal. But it was covered in it. Not a great service. Meal wasn't tasty at all.

Was pretty decent the last time this time we went we would of been better using the £40 as toilet roll.

Usually pretty good from here but currently on the 2hr mark from ordering 1 pizza and a small chips and cheese and still no delivery yet… was told 40 mins ago it was with the driver… shops now sending out again, can only hope it will be fresh as I’ve just been told it will be with me in 10 minutes.

Just moved to the area, tried so many other places and been so disappointing. 3rd time I've had food from here and it's honestly the best. Food is fresh, chicken so soft and not re-heats and delivery has always been on time. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Ordered a meal deal with a nan bread, nan bread didn’t arrive with order, was told when I phoned one would be sent out, still waiting 40mins later Used to be my go to takeaway but not now

Wrong delivery when I phoned I got abuse on phone and hung up on ,never be back ,totally shocked .

This place use to be great but has went downhill massively, ordered a pizza a few weeks ago and it arrived cold so called them and the said they would give me a discount next time as they were to busy to get another one out to me. So tonight was my next time and the gave me a free pizza which was really nice of them. Got the pizza and not only was it cold again but most of the toppings was stuck to the box. I defo won't be using spice of love again. Only gave it one star coz I couldn't give it none.

CHICKEN PAKORA AND CHIPS WERE RE-HEATS NOT FRESH WORST TAKEAWAY EVER AND OVER PRICED DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE I WOULD RATE THEM MINUS TEN I SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM THE PREVIOUS TIME WHEN I ORDERED LAMB BHUNA AND THAT WAS VERY POOR GO ELSEWHERE

Easy to order, was ready to collect on arrival but the food was already cold when I left the shop. Quality wasn't great. Wasn't bad but definitely wasn't good either.

Ordered from the spice of love this evening at 17.35. Called after an hour to ask where my food was told it had left the shop and would be there shortly. Roll on to one hour and half after order placed and food arrived stone cold and with rice missing. Called shop to explain that not happy and to ask about rice. Was told rice would be there in 5 minutes. After a further 30 minutes and now two hours after placing order I called back and spoke to a very rude member of staff that said they only had one driver and the rice could be up to another hour. I explained that I had placed my order over two hours ago. He then said that he only had one driver and he would give me something of next order. I explained there would not be a next time and he rudely hung up. Then had to make rice to have with meal. Food was lovely but shocking service and very rude staff so beware.

Beware when you try to use your debit card here. We ordered 2 set meals for 3 and tried to pay in advance using debit card. There was a glitch in system and looked like payment wasn't taken. Payment was showing as pending and on calling restaurant they assured us that it was the system and payment would not be taken. We had to pay cash. Lo and behold 2 days later payment was taken from account. We disputed this with our bank and were refunded, however it has now been taken again, so we have had to contact bank again. expensive birthday dinner. We have enjoyed using this restaurant in the past, but will be very doubtful about using them again

Ordering online with them is a nightmare pay by card then when delivery arrives told I need to pay more 😡😡 and to top it all they sent me wrong pizza last time I’ll be going there

The Food is lovely but unfortunately that is clouded by the fact the customer service is appalling and the website will just rob your money from you and the order won’t go through to them. Sadly they don’t care that this is happening to their loyal customers and don’t want to take any ownership of their mistake they just say “nothing we can do” load of nonsense.

Phoned an order for collection, guy couldn’t have been more unfriendly on the phone if he tried. I arrived to collect it 10mins later and tried to pay contactless with my I phone, only to be told it was cash only??? Are you serious? No mention of this when I phoned, and everywhere is contactless in order to try and minimise spread of COVID 19, didn’t have my wallet and left empty handed. Used this place for years, will NEVER be back.

Food is normally amazing from here but tonight what a disappointment, food was stone cold and the mixed king kebab we ordered was just pathetic hardly any Donner meat and 3 piece each of chicken and lamb tikka. Couldn't get back threw on the phone to have this sorted so had to microwave all our food and deal with the little we had. Again so disappointing.

Ordered fried chicken...its rubber & chewy...absolute disgusting & they charge 5 pound for that...donner meat was frozen..NEVER AGAIN ......

We have ordered many times and never been let down with the food we order..the starters went in bin to start with then followed the main meal chicken was tough ..the only 2 items that was ok was the can of Iran Bru and nan bread

Ordered online for pizzas on Hogmanay - after 90 minutes phoned to chase up. Told order had been cancelled as didn't do meal deals on Hogmanay. Would have been nice to have been told this!

Need to improve the Chefs Speciality Menu. Chicken Dopiazza very poor value for money, hardly any chicken pieces in portion, only saving grace the sauce was quite tasty in an otherwise disappointing meal. Will be returning to a superior takeaway in Hillhouse

Ordered online, took 90 minutes to arrive, tub of sauce had leaked all over the bottom of the bag which stained my kitchen counter. Disaster.

We always pre order for 6.30 because orders were always arriving almost an hr after phoned in, more and more often now even with pre order we still have to call and ask where our order is. Food good, customer service awful

Doesnt even deserve 1 star, Furious!!!! Collected my order, only to get home and it was the wrong order, after an hour and a half, numerous phone calls!!! I am still waiting on my food. Absolute disgrace, wont ordering from here again

Fast and efficient service, good food

I got a small chicken tikka kebab although I got a pitta bread and a tub of sauce there was only 4 small pieces of chicken and not a lot of salad!

Abysmal customer service!! Usually this is our go to place for Indian takeaway. Placed an order for delivery and it took an hour to get to us. It took three calls after initially placing the order before our order was sent out. The kind lady who answered the phone each time was less than honest, her attitude was atrocious and unacceptable.She also rudely hung up on me during one of the calls. Note to all customers!!! If you are ordering on a Tuesday night, it's two pizza's for the price of one!! Sounds good but in reality, unless you pester the life out of them you could be waiting until who knows when before you receive your order. Don't order here on a Tuesday night with an empty stomach!!!

Their food was disgusting and it was disappointing. Don't order if your looking for a good dinner, they serve chewy over priced chicken and soggy naan bread, not what I was expecting.

Waited over an hour and a half for my delivery, the delivery prices always change depending on who orders it, sometimes id pay £1.50 and sometimes £2.50 and when I asked how much is the delivery, the delivery guy said I don't know... Also food obviously was cold and a small cheese pizza that I ordered had no Base tomato sauce (may I add it happened twice) so I phoned up and asked why as it was really dry and the guy on the phone first told me there was and that he prepared it himself and when I said it doesn't he went to speak to someone and then changed his story and say I need to request base tomato sauce which is just ridiculous. Never going back there again.

Just phoned and asked about the 2 for Tuesday's to be told they don't start doing this again until next week , (fair enough) but then rudely hung up on ! Think your staff need to learn phone manners
