Marmaris Indian Takeaway in South Lanarkshire

I travel 15 minutes to get food from here. I used to stay in East Kilbride but now stay in Blantyre and I drive past takeaways to come to Marmaris. Saman and his staff are fantastic but more importantly the food is amazing. Only place I'd recommend going in East Kilbride for food. Top notch

Shocking service , missing food . Unhelp staff

Absolutely fantastic and exuberant takeaway, manager was very nice and kind gave me two large portions of chips for only £8 (usually £11) fantastic service food and atmosphere love the shop and the staff wull most definitely go again!

Fantastic food!! Ordered this online on the way home from work, I ordered 2 pizzas by mistake and they gave me the second one half price because it was already baking, and the mega mix kebab was tremendous, charred to perfection 👌🏽

Went to Marmaris last week as we where looking for something to break our fast with. The Staff at Marmaris gave us an extra helping of more than £20 more of food. The pizzas and Doner kebabs where fresh and the extra food that was provided was also freshly made. Wait time was no longer than 10min. May God bless the staff at Marmaris, truely made our day as it was a treat to open after fasting the whole day :)

Was like that episode of rate my takeaway he does in that scotland chippy the oil needs changed all you can smell when you walk in and the pakoras all tasted like burnt yucky oil sorry.

Best Donner Kebab I've had since Roots Kebabs in the 90s

Came here by accident as I live on the other city of Glasgow I never go anywhere else for takeaway food is allwas perfect 👌 service is always on point ( even when it's busy) staff are also amazing as well .. kebabs are always fresh and salad is always fresh as well pizza are baked to perfection 👌 do not hesitate to come here..

Ordered in shop chicken pakora and chicken supreme pizza-both fresh tasty and absolutely delicious! Shop is spotlessly clean staff friendly and pleasant. Garlic mayo dip is fab! Rarely write a review but all of east kilbrude needs to know the excellent quality from Marmaris!

Can’t fault the place the food is amazing delicious the curry’s are soo tender , the kebab is fresh as it comes and great portion sizes the chips and cheese are amazing too good quality of everything my new favourite take away !!

Travel all over Scotland in my job, can honestly say this is the best turkish kebab ive had. Lamb and chicken were obviously freshly made quality meats and the cleanliness and service were second to none. Excellent !! Had too go back since im in town. Was even better than i remember! 10 out of 10 again for quality,service and flavour. Got the chicken shawarma this time, unbelievable, was the best ive honestly ever had. Cant wait till im back again. Well done Marmaris East Kilbride !!

I was over at East Kilbride with some friends and tried these guys pizza along with a chicken shawarma is to die for. Pizza was fresh and tasty. Also tried the chips and cheese which was out of this world. Would highly recommend to everyone plus reasonably priced. You can tell they prepare fresh daily as well as they look after the cleanliness of the shop.

Brilliant experience tonight. Ordered chips and cheese, chicken pakora, spiced onions, and poppadoms, with some normal and garlic mayo. The only criticism I would give is that the chips are a little on the skinny size, and a chunkier chip would be better. However, still very nice. The portions were great, and the chicken pakora was so fresh. All our food was piping hot and fast delivery. Great friendly customer service from staff also. We called after we had eaten to compliment them on their food and service, which i think meant a lot to them under new management and their menu refresh! Will definitely be back 😋

Waited half hour for food only for it to be given to someone else. Customer service was a joke. Staff looking for a fight even though it was there mistake. Terrible place. Do not use. Avoid!!!

Food was great,and great staff too

We went right before closing on a Monday night and the lovely gentleman behind the counter was more than happy to help us with an order. I felt terrible as he actually ended up turning stuff back on but we hadn’t noticed until it had already been done. The food is outstanding, particularly the chicken donner!! Super flavourful, fresh and good quality meat, the garlic dip as well, delicious!! You can actually taste the ingredients rather than it being overly processed! Thank you so much we are still eating as I type this, very pleased and will be back!

Back in the hands of the man that built the brand, better food, better service it’s my go to spot again. Thanks for bringing back decent food to EK. My friends/family own Indian restaurants everywhere so I’m not easy to please!!

Tandoori chicken.. perfect! Chips cooked to perfection- nice crispy hot. Chicken moist and cooked perfect also. Will continue to be a regular customer.

Cheese missing from the king donner kebab. Portions smaller than normal dont know if thats due to ordering from justeat but food was lovely and will be back again.

No answer on restaurant phones kept setting time back. Over 2 hours for burgers and chips

Recently bought over and I'm having to change my 5 star to a 2 star...really disappointed with new management...no marmaris own website so have to order on just eat which is extortionate, took ages to come rather than the usual under 20 mins and the food is not a patch on its old owners...think they must have a cheese shortage now...very sad, used to be my favourite

Pizza was burnt, cold and late....but just eat reimbursed for half a meal that was ruined. Last time i use just eat.

Usually great and best curry in EK. Recently ordered on their own website and never got my delivery. It said the restaurant rejected the order but it still took my money. They told me it’s recently under new ownership so they don’t have access to the online order system. So be careful ordering on their own website. It worked fine until very recently, now I have to open a dispute with my bank which is annoying. Not an apology or sympathy on the phone

The food wasn’t up to the usual standard of this establishment. Usually love the food but it was a lazy attempt at making a garlic cheese naan and the poppadoms were stale. Pakora looked like not enough the the size asked for.

Shocking and bad attitude from driver

the order arrived without a large portion of chips. I called immediately to inform them, yet I'm still waiting on a portion of chips over half an hour after the rest of the order was delivered.

Food arrived 90 minutes after “latest delivery time”. No one answered phone to update. Order was wrong … Coke not Diet Coke , no sauce on Kebab. Garlic bread and kebab meat cold. Ordered from here before and was good but never again.

As always, delicious food, however on this occasion, the pakora batter was extremely hard and not at all nice. It's not the usual standard from Marmaris, so I think possibly a one-off fluke. Aside that, I definitely recommend Marmaris.

Used to order from here reasonably regularly but over the past few months the food and the service has gone downhill. I get the impression the front of counter staff couldn't care less. I've watched as they mock folk coming in after they've had few drinks. A kind of Muslim superiority is the only way I can describe it. Left a very bad taste and won't be back.

Quite disappointed this time. Order from here and it’s usually great but last few times have been let down! Chips were undercooked and soggy, barely and cheese on the chips either. Donner meat was cold and hard. Burger was decent

Service was beyond imagination, tge owner is a gem, made us quite a ginormous shawarma which was fantastic, would definitely be going back.

was a regular customer at Marmaris until tonight when my order was late and when I phoned to see where it was they said I was lying and that my order had already been delivered. Continued to tell them I hadn’t received my order and they proceeded to argue with me on the phone saying they believe their driver. Will not be ordering from them again as their customer service is shocking.

Used again and can only say the inflated prices don’t match the quality. Very very expensive takeaway. So we have used this takeaway often as my husband loves the garlic dip, however recently we have been really taken aback with price increases, we ordered a donner calzone, a chicken bhuna with rice, chips, popadoms, onions and sauce & some dips. We were £47 including delivery. This has now become unaffordable for us. We will need to really consider what we order and if we order going forward. Food was good as usual. Gutted that these inflated prices are hitting everyone so hard.

First and last time ordering which is a shame as the food was lovely and good portions however the delivery driver was a huge let down dispute 2 signs on back gate (keep gates closed dogs loose) (all deliveries please use front) he unlocked and came through both back gates, I secured the dogs paid and gave him a tip asked him “can you please close the gates back over behind you so the dogs don’t get out” he said “yeah” I walked into the kitchen to see him leave both gates wide open.

was due to be delivered between 7:10 and 7:30. After phoning at 7:50 the order was finally delivered at 8:10 and was cold.

Mixed reactions for a large mixed pakora. Some of the chicken was tender, some was tough. Veggie pakora was alright but a bit burnt. Mushroom pakora... the batter was rock solid but the mushrooms juicy. Lesson learned.

Best dam spicey pizza ever with a massive portion of onion rings...... scoffed the lot on my wobbly walk to the centre lol 😆

Have always got deliveries from here. very fast delivery time and freshly cooked food. Recently though too many deliveries have taken much longer..food is cold..re-fried cold chips.which are hard and inedible..this happened again tonight. Not sure if different chefs on different nights and different delivery drivers..but tonight was my last order. Don't know.if restaurant reads these reviews..but they should
