Ordered the Lamb Balti Naga, honestly probably the best tasting curry I've ever had. A massive shout out to the chef, will definitely be ordering again.

The chicken tikka malasa had a horrible taste to it. Couldn't eat it

food tasted awful, used to use this place all the time. the korma was tasteless chips swimming in grease nann bread wet just all in all tasteless and disappointing

When my order arrived my nam bread, chips and side salad were all missing from my order

naans taste ok but a bit small. chicken tikka quite bland. jalfrezi was very spicy 🌶. bombay potatoes and pakoras quite nice though latter a bit oilly

We’ve ordered from spice of India a couple of times and the food was good but after our order tonight we won’t be ordering again. The lamb rogan josh was rubbish. The lamb was chewy and barely edible. The Bombay potatoes were bitter and undercooked. Very disappointed

Unfortunately, I will no longer be ordering from you. This time, the quality was really poor. Some of the meat already smelled bad. I have no idea what that was supposed to be.

We stayed in Sale after an event in the centre and ordered the set meal for 4, the food was delivered quickly and on time and was amazing. All of the dishes and sides had a nice amount of spice and flavour and the portions were generous. Would definitely recommended giving this place a try and if we are in the area again we would not hesitate to order from here again.

But took more than an hour from order to prep to delivery - then they forgot half the menu that we paid for. Could have been a little better.

Tikka masala was like powder, no sauce just a mess. Onion bhargi and Naan burned. Naan very small. Binned in the end as the Chicken Tikka was awful. All luke warm!

I just said that we didn't receive the food, we did but it was quite late. Not due to the driver due to the takeaway Do not need to credit us

Great food from here, my only go to curry takeaway. I’m not a reviewer by nature but I always enjoy the food from here so I thought I should make the effort. Staff are always accommodating and great too. I’ve just had a delivery (I usually go for collection) and everything was perfect, I really can’t fault it. Very good value too.

Pasanda just tasted like korma. Wasn’t like other Pasandas tasted elsewhere

Chicken Bhuna was disgusting. Extremely hot in flavor. Not nice at all.

Not had a kitchen for 4 weeks and honestly thank you Spice of India its all I've been ordering absolutely amazing food with quick friendly delivery, the Set meal for one is incredible value

Food luke warm. Popadoms were not crisp. Onion bargees were burnt and had a chip in the bag. The naan was hard and not really edible. It was as if the food had been cooked a long time before and at best warmed up. Had food before and it was good. Very, very disappointing. Complained, promised a call back but never heard anything.

I've tried most takeaways in M33. Spice of India is by far the best takeaway in Sale. Staff are always friendly and polite. Food is always good, best Madras I've ever eaten.

Wouldn’t usually write reviews - but food here is amazing. I have Ordered a few times here. Food always great and generous portions. The man forgot to pack my onion bahji and followed me to the car to give me them. Great service and great food.

First time ordering from spice of India, food was lukewarm at best, chips were missing and the spice in the rogan josh was overpowering couldn't taste anything else after trying that. Sorry won't be ordering again.

Not a fan of the Korma had a bitter off taste like off milk or yoghurt but the last time i ordered from there it tasted completely fine. Ended up having to throw it away.

Always great food from this restaurant, but delivery does take a while . The delivery man was really sorry for how long it taken . But I did pre order the food before the restaurant did open on just eat . It said it should arrive for 6pm and food didn’t turn up until 6:55. I did ring the restaurant before hand at 6-15 they say would be a few minutes but taken an additional 40 mins . But apart from delivery the food is amazing

Fast delivery but the curries were actually quite bland, the chicken tikka masala didn’t really taste of anything. Never had this issue before with spice of India so a little disappointed. It is normally our go to Indian.

Would of given the food 0 stars and that's not me just being picky. I would usually just not write a review and suck it up and not order from here again. But the food was really bad. The bag was dripping in grease, as was all of the containers, the food itself and the popadoms were soggy because of this also. The delivery guy was the only good thing about the whole thing. He was lovely and very polite. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from here again though.

Brilliant dishes, good and hot as expected; chili and temperature. Wonderfully seasoned and a pleasure to have had.

The chicken tikka masala was good. The chicken in the korma was stringy & a bit gristly. Sauces were good.

Really enjoyed the madras chicken curry, the fried rice was delicious. Chicken tikka was also nice. Makes a change to get a takeaway you really enjoyed.

The first time ordering from here and would definitely come back delivery time was reasonable. Food tasted great portion size was great to on the kids meal and set meal and price was reasonable too

The dansak was terrible, definitely room for improvement. But I would still order again as ordered chicken tikka masala last time and it was nice . Also you need to make the chicken pieces smaller.

Bland had no taste except spice

Very disappointed with the meal: Chips tasted like they were microwave re-heated: inedible. Chapati: tasted like it was microwave reheated. Once out of the tinfoil - it became hard and inedible. Sag Aloo: lovely. Main dish: only 1 prawn. 1 piece of red pepper. 2 pieces of chicken. 2 pieces of lamb. Meat was well cooked but seriously- only 1 prawn?? Rice: only ok.

Vegetable korma contained 80% cabbage and a handful of what looked to be from a frozen veg bag of sweetcorn peas and carrots. As a vegetarian this was a very disappointing dish and felt like it was a total cop out. Lemon chicken balti was really oily. Wouldn't buy from again

Such a shame, I order from here on a regular basis and today was the worse meal ever. I ordered lamb chops as I do every time every single one was burnt an inedible. The meat was charcoal black. The kebab order for my partner was lovely.
