Food is excellent, delivery is fast and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we did not receive the 25% discount which they offer on their website. I called up about it and they emailed a £10 off voucher but £10 is less than 25% of our original order and also means we have to order again, rather than just getting the 25% off our original order, which would have been the preference.

This is the first choice when I go to Altrincham for food. The service is always excellent and, to date, the food has always been excellent. Highly recommended. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast without compromise.

Lovely food but extremely slow service, served half our party first, then around 10/15 mins later the other half got their food. Cleared away plates as some were still eating. No staff in restaurant to greet us when we arrived… seemed low on staff/ food is also very expensive.

Very disappointed with this visit. We have been to this restaurant several times over the years and previously enjoyed the food, prices and service but no more.. The prices have risen considerably, the food quality has significantly lowered and the service declined..It was early on a Friday evening and the restaurant was quiet with few customers., when ordering the house red wine we were told that they did not have any and were offered a white wine instead., the food seemed of a much lower quality than previously and the plates were cold, even after asking for them to be warmed. We will now be looking elsewhere for future meals.

Very quiet when we visited which was surprising as the service and food was very good. Wide choice of traditional dishes and chef's specials and the mains, rice, breads and sides were all excellent. Reasonable price too. Staff very friendly. Would happily return!

Comfortable seating in nice decor, friendly and helpful staff, but really upmarket prices for their food. The taste of the food was good, with a very large range of choices available in their menu. Nothing to complain about really, although not the best Indian food outlet in the whole Greater Manchester, it is amongst the top few I reckon, in terms of food quality. Their naans were great as well, with a lot of choices. Those with cheese and with garlic were really tasty. The only thing was that, the prices are on the high side, which is understandable for this area. I would go back with friends or family only for occasions, given the price tags, but I will go again indeed, due to its convenient location, nice environment and good food.

This was a delivery and was terrible - nearly 40 minutes late. We rang twice to chase it and were told it would be 10 minutes - 20 minutes later we rang again and were told there thought it was still at the restaurant - then it was with the driver. When it arrived it was totally cold and not nice at all and we could not it eat it. Very disappointed.

Answer phone sayin stuff like "ya man" "innit". Then the food, found hairs in it, toilet mingin

We got a takeaway here after searching for a good local Indian for a long time. The customer service was excellent (rang up beforehand with some questions), the delivery was prompt and the food went beyond our expectations. We’ll definitely be back for more takeaways soon.

It's been a few years since I've been to the Doubletree Indian restaurant. Unfortunately it appears to have suffered from the plethora of quality restaurants now available in Altrincham. Me and my wife went for a late (10pm) meal which took nearly 30mins for the waiters to serve us, only drinks, another 10mins to place our order! The food was very good and was served in quick time. There was about max a dozen other diners but the venue was light on atmosphere to be honest, not as I recall on previous visits. The food was good value for money which was the best part of the meal. I don't think I will revisit sorry to say.

Incredibly mediocre food, took 2 hrs to arrive to my house and I couldn't call the shop as the number did not work, when it arrived I felt like a mug because I had paid 30 quid when it was just not up to scratch, the meat in my dopiaza was dry, and I paid for poppadoms, but when it arrived it was a single greasy stale one with no sauces or anything, but I still ate the curry because I was hungry and it was almost 9 at this point, but I was just left unsatisfied and disappointed at the whole ordeal

The menu was new and the prices inflated by 30% ish, which was the warning of change. I love Indian food. In fact it is my most favourite of all foods. I have eaten at the Double Tree many times and have written and raved about its food on a few occasions. With a heavy heart it is now on my list of “never again”. There were 3 of us who all were disappointed. The popadoms were pre cooked thus they had lost their crispness. This supported 3 mains that were sauce rich with little meat. My Lamb was so tough it was like eating the heal of my shoe shoe with gristle. The 2 chicken dishes should have had nice pieces of chunky chicken, but no. Just small dry nuggets of sadness. The sauces were equally sad and disappointing. Avoid this once great curry house as it is now an empty memory and more shed like when compared to its former self.

Had the best onion bhajis ever and the main meal was amazing too. Ate far too much. Would definitely come again

Fabulous food. Had the South Indian garlic chicken, a mixed grill and a Baltic exotica. Keema rice, mushroom rice, keema Nan and paratha. Delicious food , good size portions and very tasty , great service ! Will be back again soon x

Great Indian, best in Altrincham. Been coming here for years and never been disappointed. Staff are always great and food always very well made. Wide selection of special dishes as well as the regulars.

When we think about celebrations,Double Tree is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Service and staff and manager was delightful and very professional.100% recommend.Golnaz

Awful! 2 and a half hours for food to arrive on a Sunday! Told number of times 10 minutes away…an hour later food still hadn’t arrived. Was told we will be refunded! Delivery driver then lied to me and said he had had a puncture. (Appreciate not his fault) Apparently new owner who has never ran a restaurant before…stay clear! Imagine ordering on a Friday or Saturday!! Such a shame as was always a good family tan restaurant and great food’

Last night I ordered a takeaway which came to more than £20. This is quite expensive for a curry and I cannot justify this cost. The chicken was tough and the naan bread was lukewarm. Sorry but in the current climate such ‘up market’ restaurants should be providing the finest food and this was far from it.

Had an absolute fantastic time, meal and dining experience. Staff amazing, helpful and sociable but not intrusive... Food was absolutely delicious every mouthful left you wanting more! Deddinitely return on our next visit to Altrincham... Amazing!!

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Spacious room. Ample towels. Shower was proper hot. Breakfast was decent. The service was proper and polite. Everything was timely right. The bar downstairs had a warm atmosphere. The service was “ok” there.

First time been in the Restaurant. Staff were lovely. Popadoms went down well and the onion bhajis had the perfect texture some of not the best have tasted in a long time. Drinks ordered but unfortunately didn't have the Appletizer I wanted so that was a bit of a let down as it was on the drinks menu. I had Lamb Korma with garlic Nan and I have to say the portion was just right, plenty of lamb which is unusual, nan bread was just the right size found myself wanting more if I'm honest. Husband had Chicken Rogan Josh with pilau consistent with me portion size good, generous with the chicken rather than playing hide and seek with the meat, nice and hot just right level of spice. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to go again soon.

Had a fantastic evening with my partner, ambience was fantastic, staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. Went to visit double tree with a group of 25 lads, from start to finish the welcoming staff made us feel at home and looked after us. They kept on checking up on us to see if we needed anything. I can honestly say i will be coming back very soon the food was amazing and really aromatic, the naan breads were super fresh and everything was piping hot. Some restaurants make you feel quite rushed and not very welcoming but ive said it already and ill say it again, double tree honestly make you feel like you’re at home, much respect to the kitchen team and the brothers waitering up front

4 of us went it was expensive for a curry the food was OK cost is £16 just for 6 poppadoms and dips there was 1 person still eating when the rest finished they just took all the plates then brought the bill as if to say thanks get out bit arrogant have been here b4 and it was OK but won't go back again

Been here tonight with family & 2 children and got to say it’s the best Indian I’ve been too, it was absolutely lovely. The food was so tasty no fatty bits on any of the meat which I have found at other restaurants quite often. Service was really good too. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back. Focus taken away from dining as the staff from this restaurant found it fun to vandalise a car parked outside. They then ganged up on the apologetic driver. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Working nearby,quick stop for a curry we were not disappointed,staff very friendly,no starters just poppadoms & dips the special sauce was amazing. I had the naga lamb tikka dish was advised it was hot 🔥 but very tasty that is exactly what it was delicious,had a keema naan as well,my colleague had the exotic balti dish with a garlic naan again excellent,just want to thank the staff brilliant guys keep it up.

Ordered 4 curries from here before I thought I'd leave an honest review. Everytime you order a main like the chops or the tikka they serve it with a poor base gravy. Added requests everytime. Why pay for chops to eat with a bland sauce. Tried a different curry tonight because i was fed up, still tomato sauce based and bland. Happy to discuss with management but up to now very poor quality, delivery service is better than food. Will save food that was delivered

Went for a meal for New Year Day, have to say great start to 2022. Staff were excellent, we got a mixed starter for 2 the lamb was exceptional! The Duck for main was amazing and spicy, also chicken tikka passanda with mushroom rice and naan. Honestly would recommend and will be returning

Great food and really attentive service

It is some time since I have visited this restaurant and on this occasion I visited as part of a group. We found the staff to be very accomodating and.well able to cope with a group. Food was tasty, plentiful, with a wide choice available, we were all pleased the the quality and service and would be happy to visit more often in the future.

This is the first time we’ve ordered from the Double Tree. The first gold star goes for excellent service, ordering by phone. Our order then came perfectly on time, was extremely well presented and was wonderfully delicious. It also was reasonably priced. We haven’t had such a delightful takeaway experience for a long time. Well done Double Tree!

I've been going in this restaurant for years and the food has been consistently good but not outstanding and lack of staff interaction with customers has always left me feeling undervalued as a customer. The only other Indian restaurant in Altrincham Town Centre closed down...

Really used to enjoy the Doubletree and the staff have always been lovely and the food superb. Had a rather agumentative member of staff serve us and we won't be returning. Shame as we had looked forward to regularly going back after the lockdown.

Food was delivered 30 minutes late, complained to the restaurant. Person who took the call explained that they had reheated (not acceptable) the meal because of the delay. We explained that the meal was cold and the manager refused to compensate or even to send...

Didn't actually visit the restaurant today but ordered for delivery. Used this restaurant several times and the staff and food have always been amazing. Staff evening remembered my name with each other. This time, they were late!!!! Tried ringing me apparently but the number was...

It's as is they don't want clients. I would have thought in the current climate, restaurants should be grateful to those who try to save them by ordering food from them. All the reviews that point out how rude these people are, are right. They...

Food & service were quite good but we ordered a Madras which was extremely hot and too spicy. The table adjoining us which was a party of 6 young females and someone on that table ordered a Madras too. When asked about the food we commented that the Madras was too hot and the customer who ordered the Madras on the adjoining table party of 6 females also made the same comment that is was way too hot!! The waiter instantly offered the adjoining table to have the Madras cooled with some yoghurt by the chef, no such offer was made to us. To make matters worse later when it came to paying the bill the waiter complimented the table of 6 females the Madras and took it off their bill but minutes earlier he still charged us for it. Really poor customer service to not offer the same level of service to another customer sat at the next table with the same complaint!!

Fabulous takeaway tonight. Large portions. As good as in the restaurant.
