I used to love the food from here, the staff were always lovely and still are but the delivery guy is horrendous, the tall black guy. He stands there staring with anger on his face, shoves the food in my hands, grunts when I say thank you and walks off!!! Jesus, I dont expect him to be full of smiles but that's taking the mick and it's doing my head in with how rude the guy is. Plus the food is always tepid or cold and delivery is over an hr every time.

Been ordering for years. Called placed order was told 50 Minutes wait then phone hung up. Called back to cancel order as wait time to long, told if i cancel i would not be able to order from them ever again, even after telling them I was a regular customer. Attempted to call and resolve 3 days later when asking speak to supervisor they just hung up. Your loss spice mill, money will be spent else where but service was shocking 😲

Delicious food from here, every time we order, We just had a curry delivered, The driver was very polite and the food again was Amazing! Thank you guys!

We ordered a home delivery. Pizza was good. But delivery was terrible. The guy came after almost 2 hrs.

If you want to wait 2 hours for a delivery and for it to arrive tepid and cold this is the place for you. Ordered last night at 6:45 pm on line with a wait time of 1 hr. After 1.5 hrs rang twice to see where our order was. No answer 😡. We live less than 2 miles from the takeaway and the food arrived 2 hrs from placing the order. Opening the box the majority of the food was cold and the rest just warm. Cold chips and donner meat is not pleasant so that went straight into the bin. Ate a little chicken but best eaten hot so the rest went into the bin. First and last time ordering from here never again. Contacted Foodhub on the chat line and they sent me a £5 coupon code when placing an order through their web site. Definitely not going to use it to order from Spice Mill given the very very disappointing service last night.

Placed an order. Said it would take 1 hour to turn up. Rang in after 79 mins to be told the driver was no more than 5 minutes away. Rang them back 10 minutes later to be told he was 2 minutes away. It took another 15 minutes to turn up. Was told if the food was not OK it would be replaced for me. I messaged them saying the food was warm but didn't wait for a replacement as we was both hungry by then. I was asked for my number and the manager will ring me very soon. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. Not happy at all

Ordered here at 5 and the food didn’t get delivered till 6:55 and when it was the delivery driver was very rude and the food was freezing wouldn’t recommend

Used this place since it opened ..wont be using it again ...ordered food at 5 o'clock and it did not arrive untill 7 pm...rang 3 times ..1st time they forgot the address..2nd time they put the phone down ...3rd time they said it was due to the weather ..when what actually happened is they went to my old address and then processed to a street with the same name in a totally different area...definitely gone down in my opinion..food is always cold and thrown together

Placed an order for 3 curries , took 1 hour and 35 minutes to come and when it did the curries was split everywhere in the box , I rang the shop and explained what was wrong with the order , the shop said they would send a replacement out , 1 hour later it came , really poor service tonight , normally okay , unfortunately won’t be using spice mil again

First time ordering from a recommendation, time-keeping was a little bit out but it was well worth the wait! Curry’s were spot on we will definitely be back to order again, Best curry house around in a long time!

Food was OK pick up service was good but the biggest let down was the amount of food you got I do usually use the kerbab range smallthorne for me I will be sticking with them double the amount & as good food

I have ordered from spicemill for quite a few years now. I have always been really happy with the food and service from there until recently. The last few times I have ordered n9w the orders have come wrong. For instance twice I have ordered 3 piece of chicken value box . They have twice sent 2 pieces chicken and two chicken strips in it. If I'd wanted chicken strips I would have ordered a meal containing chicken strips. Before this I have ordered biryani and asked for one of the biryani curries to be hotter madras strength for my partner. Twice they have sent just a normal mild biryani. When you are paying for something you want what you asked for.

It's been so good for so long and tonight you've ruined it with very below par food.

Ordered from here the first time but definetly not the last! Ordered a cheeky Wednesday curry deal, curry was delicious as the garlic nan bread and the rice as well. Sauces were on point! Fast delivery and only £1 delivery fee to my house. Extra point for no services and packing charges. Highly recomend it!

The food is amazing. I would recommend the chicken and chips. This is a good place if you want a takeaway.

Very grumpy delivery courier. Had to phone 4 TIMES, 3 DELIVERIES TO DELIVER THE CORRECT ORDER!!! Absolutely disgraceful customer service and failure to complete an order to 100% satisfaction. I'd rate zero stars it it were possible!!!

placed order at 8pm…9pm comes and no foods arrived so ring them to be told it’s on its way…yaaaay I won’t be hangry no more…..tick tock 10 mins pass and it’s still not here…so rings back to be told driver left 20mins ago…hmmmm so the delivery driver must be walking the scenic route to mine as it’s max a 5 min walk less then 2 mins driving…so we’re all waiting for the delivery guy…another 10 mins pass I must of missed the memo that a snail is bringing the delivery guy…and still no food so I ring again and ask where my food is “he will be there any minute” so now I’m pacing looking for this snail with a delivery guy on his back….another 10 mins pass and eventually the food comes…was shocked to see the guy was actually in a car…brings the food in n as u all guess it COLD!!! This place use to once be great now it’s getting worse and worse…anyone know any other good takeaways

12-inch pepperoni pizza with garlic base 😋 👌 😍 ❤️ 🙌 omg 😲 why go dominos 😋and pay a small fortune!!!! don't get me wrong, they are gorgeous, but for the price and the quality of spice mill pizza 😏 🤔 😉 😋 you can't go wrong ! I say this as a pizza lover 😋 £8 for a 12-inch and £13 for a whopping 16-inch

Had to put one star but should be none ordered food paid when it came some of the order missing when phone and said there was missing items was told it would cost me again and the food that arrived was totally unexpectable wouldn't even give it my dog don't order from here unless you want totally uneatable food and terrible service SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN REPORTING TO FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY

Nicest curry I've had in ages!!!!

Been using these for years..always fantastic but had so many bad meals in the past 8 weeks.. Chicken tikka kebab.. just nasty tonight.. the chicken was sliced into minute pieces.... barely any chicken.. Tasted awful so couldn't eat it.. Prices have gone up..( fair enough) barely any staff and the quality has seriously gone down.. in what used to be such a busy and fab takeaway.. Lots of other problems recently too.. Come on guys! What's happened??? .

One of the nicest curry's in Stoke on trent authentic naans is a refreshing change chicken tikka starter was lovely but the curry is amazing chicken tikka masala balti 👌

Found short black hair in pizza, curry tasted just weird. Ordered coconut rice tasted nothing like it. But they did pick up the food and refunded me ! Will not just again.

I'm from Manchester and the takeaways there are great but I've never had anything like this most pizzas taste the same from fast food but these guys do something different and I love it

Used this place for years but the hygiene in my opinion is very poor ! I walked in last week two workers did not have proper clothing on they were sweating in there shorts wiping there foreheads then picking chicken up The griddle for beefburgers should be separate from chicken I took one look at the state off the two staff workers and the state off the place and walked out won't go again now ! Was horrified the food in the past has been generally good but a lot off mixed up wrong orders and stuff missing health inspection would shut it !

Absolutely gorgeous food always piping hot when collect, the lads are brilliant, not their fault if delivery drivers take a while get the food out to ppl, its always cooked fresh stand and watch them cook it. We'll done lads.

Curry's are a good quality and quite Authentic, Food always comes hot and fresh. I'd recommend the Dansak

Used to be a really nice place to order from. We used them for years without fault and then the last 12 months have been really hit and miss, mostly miss, but we’ve given them the benefit of the doubt each time things have gone wrong. The chips are 99% of the time inedible. The lamb has gone from being melt in the mouth, to chewy chunks. The last 3 times we’ve ordered, we’ve had food missing from the order each time which has meant at least one of us is sitting waiting for another 20 minutes for them to bring the rest of the order. The food quality has dropped a lot recently, yet the prices have gone up a lot. Looks like it’s time to find a new takeaway to order from in future. On the plus side though, the kebabs were nice otherwise it would have only been one star.

I suspect they gave me food poisoning from a bad kebab, had eaten only a piece of toast and a bag of crisps all day then had a large kebab from these guys. Was bad for 6 days, not good. Never again.

Ordered two 12 inch pizzas,both were bone dry,you could tap a metal fork on the toppings and you would hear a thud. Both bone dry,also paid more money for extra toppings on one pizza that were simply not included. To add insult to injury,the food was 50 minutes late. AVOID.

Our usual place to order curry's. However this time the flavour was very bland and wouldn't order again in a rush. Had to wait for the order even though it should of been ready to pick up. Rice, chips and naans were lovely like always though.

Wow just got back from Wales and decided to get a take away so so glad that we decided spice mill we had curry deal 2 tika starter tika main keema rice and garlic nan. Popadoms and dips were amazing.. spice mill thank xx you.xx

ordered food at 5.45 and these were the chips they sent surly they haven’t been cooked tonight more like last night and have been dipped back in the fryer that’s what they tasted like anyway if you like dry hard burnt chips and dry hard pizzas this is the place for you

This is one of the best takeaway meals I've had for a long time.First time we had delivered and came on time and 2nd time we collected and everything was ready and hot.Delicious food and very good portions.

A great take-away! Never fail to deliver great quality food and they're always on time. Their Asian Pizza is delicious by the way, I recommend anyone who hasn't tried it to try it!

Waited just more than 2 hours for our delivery. I called 4 times. The first time the phone rang out. 2nd time they answered then hung up straight away. 3rd time they answered then left the phone on the side, I could hear voices and stuff but was left for 2 mins without even a hello so I hung up. 4th time I finally got through And they said that they had given the driver extra time.

The meal was warm and delivery timely. How ever that’s where the good news ends. The donner meat was cooked three times over, so dry I had to open the can of Rio to quench the desert in my mouth. Genuinely the donner meat resembles and tastes like the sole of ghandi’s foot. Salad and sauce requests were simply overlooked and the batter/breading on all chicken was foul. This could, quite possibly be THE WORST takeaway in North Staffordshire. I’d recommend the nearby spice mill instead

meal 2 hours late, blamed technical error which meant they had no idea about order, which on the app was accepted by them? rang an hour and half after order to find out where it was and that was the only time they knew about it. weird considering they have to accept the order, but oh no apparently the app accepts the orders for them and marks it as being cooked. best part is that if i hadn't of rang i would never have received my order.

My my wife and son all had the bargain bucket meal, which strangely arrived after 15 mins of ordering on line The next day we were all violently sick this was the only meal all 3 of us had together, my son lost a shift at work my wife came home work all of us were really bad we assume the chicken was the cause , we have used spice mill alot but never again will we order from there be warned ....
