This is our always local indians takeaway. Food is always fantastic here with never a complaint.. tonight got the weekday special with a few tweaks and extras.. tonight I even called them to say how fantastic the food was.. was said by us all how good it was.. never been disappointed. Looking forward to next time

Used this place twice now.... Got a delivery tonight.. they sent the wrong curry at first. I phoned up, absolutely no problems at all they told me keep the curry and we'll send the correct one. Lovely food. Good customer service. Definitely recommend.

Didn’t get my full order and food was cold

The curry and rice were nice but the chicken tikka starter was dry and the keema nan wasn't a proper one and had to go in the bin.

I’ve always rated really high previously. Pretty disappointing this time, late delivery and very runny sauce in all 3 curries.

Best Indians I’ve had in a long time, we got a box meal which could easily feed 3 people, and a curried pizza was amazing food - thank you!

Been using this Indian takeaway for several years always been good but the last meal was exceptional (Thursday 26.04.24) think they may have a new chef certainly something has changed

First impressions were great, the person who took our orders was very nice. However, we were told food would be 5-10 mins, ended up waiting well over 20 mins and could see into the kitchen where people were taking shots as we were waiting.

No popadoms delivered I also paid for a mint sauce which wasn’t needed because of above

Been coming here for over 5 years normally the best pitch around. Not sure what has happened or if there's a new chef or what not, but the past 3 times we have ordered the food has been bland and flavourless with the chicken being undercooked. Ended up putting nearly a £40 order in the bin. Ordered to try again today, not sure what happened to this place but the food is rancid now, chicken not cooked properly, no flavour everything just seems like cheap rubbish now. Wont be ordering from here again. What a shame. Fantastic takeaway, has now gone along with rest. No good takeaways left now.

Got a set meal for 3 for £32. Only contains two starters two mains and a tiny portion of rice plus the usual add ons so it is obviously only suitable as set meal for two. Can get the same meal with much larger rice portions elsware properly advertised as a set meal for 2 for a lot cheaper. Very disappointed.

The food we ordered was really bland, no taste and just not great at all. Delivery was almost half an hour late, meaning that our food was cold when we got it, so it had to be reheated. Really disappointed

I have to admit I use these guys a lot. I'm always happy with everything they have ever done. However tonight this has to be the worst food I've ever eaten. So sad it's new year and it's been spoilt. Will think again before using these guys again.

What's happend to the garlic on the nan breads tastes like margarine, not nice, spicy chips greesy, and very bland curry sauces

Order got delayed. But still was delivered just before the end of the original delivery window. Food was freezing cold, obviously no heat bags used

Garlic bread was awful instead of garlic butter a stringy substance covered the bread. Dansak didn’t have full lentils in and blew my head off. Far far too hot to eat. Starters tasted bought in and greasy. Sadly not authentic

The food not in metal containers was cold. Main meals were lukewarm.Additionally, one item, a veg samosa was missed off. There were only 5 items on the order. rang business to explain why they were getting a very poor review. No apology or offer of a £3.99 refund! Not use it again.

Delicious food, Using traditional methods the food is very fresh and tasty made by chef 👨‍🍳. friendly staff. I Would highly recommend and definitely eat there again.

out of all the takeaways I’ve went too..this has got to be the best, the food has incredible flavour and the service is amazing.Definitely will be coming more!

I ordered king prawn biryani and some tandoori starters take away from spice junction. Food was delicious. with biryani I got egg on top it’s nice. Biryani souse was amazing. Highly recommended. Will order again very soon. Very very friendly staff. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Food was very nice. It was good and hot

Ordered 2 curry pizzas, delivery took 2 hours, thick stodgy base, curry had minimal flavour and it was cold. In a cost of living crisis when a takeaway on a weekend is a treat, this is simply not good enough for the money you pay. Wouldn’t order again.

Food wasn’t up to the usual expectations, pizza base was dry and tasted different to what it should have. Peppers on the pizza had a funny taste, maybe they were off. I’m not sure but it didn’t taste good.

Excellent food, one of the best in the area, tried a new dish I’ve never had before, Chicken Chilli Rowshon Chengri, will definitely have this again. This is the 1st time I have tried this Restaurant/Takeaway, I will be back again……one of the best 👍

Usually get great Indian pizza from spice junction... Just ordered and collected a chicken chat pizza... Very poor ... Base was extremely undercooked not up to the usual standard. Such a shame

Absolutely amazing! The food is so tasty you can taste all of the flavours and ingredients. You'll never go anywhere else after you've been to spice junction, I was amazed how tasty it was. I use this place all of the time now 🙂

When you leave a note it would be nice for it to be read. I asked for sauce,rice and chips wrapped separately but they came in one container.

Lovely food, and all packed into separate containers. To many restaurants not packed it all into one box, most unappetising. Will definitely order again, well done.

Sensational! Simply fantastic. Such a delicious meal! Had the Veg Snack Box and with 10% off with collection and you can get NHS Discount (though not on the snack boxes) it was £11.95! Had a korma sauce and was thinking of getting a rice, but you don’t need to. Given the option of which chips and which naan bread. Food was delicious and great to know that it’s on the door step. Takes American Express though machine not working on the night. Does deliver, but as I said before discount on collection.

Absolutley spot on. We regularly go here but last night was New Year’s Eve and we were having a party. We ordered loads of food and every single dish came hot and delicious!!! Delivery only took an hour and everyone couldn’t stop complimenting how outstanding it was. Safe to say there was nothing left. Thankyou very much we’ll be coming again!

Indian takeaway based in Monkseaton Metro Station. Order online for 10% discount using their link (not just eat etc) Nice food. If you want to suffer, have a Naga Nan with your meal. I did. LOL

First time using spice junction.... Just had cold food delivered! Phoned to complain, response was short and sharp " we'll give you a full refund, less delivery charge" and the phone was put down! We would have 100% accepted a replacement HOT meal but as phone was put down it was not an option. Unbelievabley poor customer service, obviously don't want any repeat custom! Very very hungry and disappointed.....!!!!! Too late to order somewhere else!!!! Will not be using spice junction ever again!

Ate their Pizza. Tasted bitter. Then food poisoning. Now in hospital. Their quality control not good. Will never go in this place. Avoid this place.

Apparently ordered a munch box, it’s in tubs in a pizza box… quality is not good! Really disappointed…

This place is a Northen gem. I place 4 stars instead of 5 as due to soggy Naan bread from oil with my kebabs otherwise excellent.

I have been waiting for 3hours for what they call food put it in the bin as it was stone cold

Very disappointing. This was the second time we ordered. The first was good which is why we ordered again but last nights food arrived barely warm. Almost no meat in the curries and everything covered in grease. We won’t be back

Mid week special is a joke I feel I have robbed someone !!! Absolutely delicious every time we have been using the junction for over two years and not had a bad meal yet !! Two starters Two main Naan Rice Popadoms for £15 really ??? Always spot on nowt to complain about -Truestory

Food always very tasty and very good portions

Well what can i say..OMG.. Been getting food delivered from spice junction for over 2 years, been very tasty, warm and worth the money. However over the last 6 month has been a different story . Food we recieved tonight was cold, raita sauce was watery, not usually, normally thick and creamy, nan bread was like, how can i explain .. was like a tube a green stuff had been squirted over the top. Supposed to be garlic🤔That was cold, popadoms were soft.. Onion salad wasnt fresh, could tell by the colour. ... This is bad. Price on the phone was different to paying at the door(more expensive) just not sure what to tell you folk out there, standards have dropped drastically . Complained before but doesn't seem to change anything so thought we would give it another go.. But by god, big mistake and certainly not worth 20 quid... Never again...

First time going here very impressed, in fact went back next day for more likely to use them from now on.

Used to use all the time but stopped because of slow / poor service thought we would try again as just round the corner - NEVER AGAIN cold tasteless poor portions (8 pieces of Chicken in main course tikka meal)

Its not just them all the indian takeaways in newcastle are giving bad name to desi food. Its a shame that its really hard to find someone who can really cook desi food in newcastle.

Decent curry, hot means hot here.

Used this place because our usual was closed, ended up reminded why we stopped using them a while back. Delivery always takes ages (60 minutes absolute minimum) and there's always something missing. The food's pretty good - and their sag aloo is absolutely fantastic - but it just feels like the attention to detail isn't there.

So got to love the Thursday/Sunday happy meal!! We are two hungry people & there is always left overs. The food is tasty, perfectly spiced, the staff friendly & its just down the road - what more can you ask?

Pretty good place, timings of how long food is can be slightly off. But the menu and service is fantastic.

The last few meals we have had delivered have been very poor in fact the last one was cold and I couldn't eat it, shame because it used to be really nice
