I ordered 2 wraps but they send me burgers 👎🏼

Order came late and was missing items, it was a big family order and people went without their food

Really tasty. The biryani was the best I’ve eaten in a good while.

Great food as always potions have become very small and mild option was not clearly labelled which can cause many problems

Not possible to give 0 stars for delivery time that’s why I’m forced to give 1 star. Don’t bother accepting orders if you can’t deliver on time!

It was my first time ordering from this Spice Hut branch. The food was horrible - dry and unflavoured. It also arrived cold and the wings were soggy. I do not recommend ordering from here. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I'm a regular customer the staff that dealt with my order today was rude ordered onlie at 5:45pm called up the place someone picked up then i asked him politely if they can exchange 2 boxe of the 5 wings and chips for a 1 peice chicken and chips and the rest stay the same from the special offer deal which is £19 if u buy 5 boxes of wings and chips you get one free the same price and deal is for the 1pc chicken and chips the man said no even after I said it the same price he argued bck saying no

I have in £1 for chips and I got no food back this is a disgrace the Barkingside spice hut is the worst they need to improve on service I should be giving a 0 star rating. Absolute disgrace 🤬

Food tastes amazing however customer service from staff was abysmal and super rude. This was my first time ordering from them and they accused me of doing wrong, confusing me of another customer that they had.

doner was spicy but no flavour just heat and meat very was dry. i called asking for chillie n garlic but didn’t receive.

I have order 6 lamb doner and one chicken burger, firstly I told them medium spicy it was too spicy and they not send naan bread. On top I phoned and told them about there mistake he start shouting on phone and been rude. Never ever order 💯

Lamb donner burnt not cooked to the usual standard was dye and burnt and definitely not a large. Really disappointing

Lamb tikka was all very tough even the sharpest knife had trouble cutting them! Has the lamb been cooked & left standing around for hours and hours?? Very disappointed quality indeed.

Bad customer service no one was in the shop bossman kicked us out because we added too much sauce but we didn’t food was so bad it tastes like curry. Go to the chicken shop few buildings ahead good food and customer service even got a discount

Food when it’s received is average, trying to get the food delivered is a whole issue in itself. 4 occasions in the past where they have not been able to deliver the food and I have had to dispute this with just eat. Shocking customer service. Walk ins fine. Delivery don’t bother.

Sorry, but either the food wasn’t fresh or wasn’t stored properly, everyone in my family at some point had stomach upset and this was the only meal we all ate together. And it happened in different stages, some the next day and some a few hours later. We had a combination of wraps and burgers and wings I won’t be ordering from here again. If possible, please refund me.

This is the worst order my kids food from spicehut it has been marked as delivered yet no one came to my house. Called just eat customer service spoke to someone by the name of Gary telling me there is nothing they can do about it as the order has been marked as delivered. This business of scamming customers money and not getting their food is soo beyond disgusting and unacceptable. This just eat is a joke and unprofessional towards their customers. People ordering their food online be careful

The driver had more then one app I live In seven king he went near Chigwell with my order I could see it on the app after he came to my house .he was late 30mins and I’ve also call the restaurant and they couldn’t help me as well . Very disappointed with the service .

Really good food, and friendly customer service. Frequently go here and speak with the staff. The chicken burger and doner is great, wings aren’t their strongest point. They have sometimes forgotten something in the order but rectified it when mentioned by giving extra the next time. Great value for food.

The food is stone cold and looks like half my food is missing and one of the items I ordered was supposed to be not spicy and it is spicy so spicy my mum can't even eat it I'm not happy at all I was a full refund!!!

Ordered 2 spicy mixed doner, however it wasn’t spicy at all. Even after pouring the extra spicy sauce ontop. Naga wings wasn’t naga flavour or spicy either. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I live in Woodford I ordered food from barkingside 10min rnd the corner first showed would be to me 5.05pm arrived at almost 6pm . Did send message to your people but nobody got back. Not good practice. Thanks Paul

absolute rubbish food. wings cold. wing box was open when i received it. received notification that driver left but went to another customer first then went back to the shop. what a joke.

Ordered Lamb biriyani in spice hut, barkingside. Quantity is too less. And, it doesn't taste like a biriyani. I ordered it for my dinner. It is not sufficient for me. Now I'm going out to have some food. Worst!!

It is an Indian fast food fusion with Kebabs and burgers. Honestly, better than expected. Reasonable prices with good portions. Be careful with the level of spice, they are not playing games. Got chicken wings and kebab with Naan, would order again to try other stuff.

Always something missing. Pay for chilli sauce it's missing. Chips missing from the meal. Call them, they don't understand. Paid for three chilli sauce. They don't provide. Why are u charging for chilli sauce.

Great service, last time they got my order wrong but made up for it this time, well compensated. One of the only stores who have managed to keep their prices low due to inflation. Keep it up 👍.

‘Disgusting’ is the only word I can use to describe the food at Spice hut. Chicken was tasteless, flavourless and dripping buckets of oil. Not recommended at all, there are other chicken places yards away from there which are far better than Spice Hutt. Massive let down,,, How can you get chicken and Chips wrong? The chilli sauce was insult to injury - all colour and no chilli. Wont be going again and wont recommend either. Seriously beed to up their game.

Below average for chicken shop, this is 2nd spice hut I tried and both were as bad. The size was big but the bun was dry and crusty. The chicken was fresh but top oily.

Reasonably priced for the area.i feel that the mixed doner, chips and drink for £6.25 was expensive as there was quite a small portion. The crazy thing is if you go to ME Kebab in Frampton Street of Edgware London. Post code NW8 .You can get a proper authentic very large Kurdish Doner Kebab with everything salad, sauce etc for £6.00 in London and it is cheaper and better than most Kebab shops in London I am afraid. The Kebab shop owners in Ilford and other parts of London and greater London also should go down and try their Kebabs and other food and ask them how they can sell thir food so cheap in Westminster despite their rates being higher than greater London .How does that work??

Read some of the reviews! Not sure why people expect michelin standard food for a value for money fried chicken Kebab place. Embarrassing! In Barkingside in that type best around. Lovely team of guys who work hard and give good standard food. If anyone reading those * and ** reviews! Ignore it. Worth a try. I been in Barkingside over 5 years and tried all of them..

Standard generic kebab and fried chicken shop. No thrills expected inside. Has extensive menu of South Asian food too, which makes it better than average fast food shop. Great prices, can't fault that. Like a lot of fast food places they give priority to the delivery companies' customers leaving the people who eat in the eaterie or ordering take aways as secondary.

Normally spice hut so tasty but this branch is not great as it supposed be . Also need to clean and it has weird smell on shop Please focus on hygiene. Disappointed

This has to be the best or close to the best doner i have had it felt so good for a hungry stomach.

Sent me the wrong order, and The tandoori kebab was drowned in very hot chilli sauce that I couldn’t eat it. When I called up the guy who answered the phone was nice but didn’t really help. Won’t be ordering from here ever again. A waste of money

Good food, bang for the bucks, friendly caring staff.

Ordered food for delivery and multiple times half of the order was missing. When called the store was told that they will not do anything about it unless I come and pick it up myself (despite paying for delivery) as no delivery drivers available to re-deliver missing items every time. Very rude staff and puts the phone down when calling with complaints.

Spice hut is a chain, I have been to many of them, the consistency in the food and service is excellent. The chicken tikka biryani is on the spot here and the portion was generous. I do not believe it would have been possible to fit all that into a takeaway box if I wasn't eating in. There's only a few seats, the best way to enjoy this place is probably to takeaway.

Great offers and food is very good considering what you pay. I’m not comparing these guys to Gordon Ramsey but for what you pay - it is very good value and the quality of food is great. Their customer service is brilliant! One of the new guys forgot my wings and so I rang them up - they said to pop down now or let them know next time I visit and they will give me my wings. And they did, in fact threw in a couple extra… nice… keep the whole work up guys!
