Spice Fusion in Bexley

Unfortunately I’m not happy with the food nor am I happy with how long the food took to arrive after I had ordered it. On the uber eats app the time frame is 45 mins and the food took double the time to arrive. I had to call to find out where the food was as there’s no way to track it because they use their own drivers. Two of the dishes we ordered (chicken korma and chicken tikka masala) were incredibly sweet and sickly to the point I couldn’t even eat it. A mouthful of chicken tasted like I was eating a mouthful of golden syrup. Awful. I absolutely do NOT recommend.

We went to the crayford branch last night it took about half an hour before we could eat which was ok, the onion bhajis was completely flat.They didn’t look fresh and they didn’t taste of anything. There was no spice on the Bombay potatoes also they were cold it was like they’ve just been taken out of the fridge the curry wasn’t the best the coke tasted like it was watered down. Won’t be eating there again.

It's always a joy to visit one of Crayford's best curry houses. Excellent food, fantastic staff, and service. It's nicely priced, too.

Had a lovely evening with good food and a easy going atmosphere. Very helpfull happy staff more intimate than huge places are. Will return, happy to recommend, not to expensive and good portions. There were 4 of us the drinks came to more than the meal food worked out at £26 per adult *that's value*.

Food came in good time but unfortunately food was very bland and watery. Asked for a chicken Bhuna medium hot but it tasted of nothing . Will be looking elsewhere for another Indian from now on ..disappointing

I’m sorry but I don’t see how this restaurant is getting 5* because me and my husband had a meal in there last night and will never go again. We was given our food, WARM Chicken dansak and mushroom rice. Not only was the chicken very stringy and gristly but my husband found just two clumps of what look like rice from another plate, red clumps of rice that was mixed with a chicken tikka masala sauce. When querying it the waiter said that’s what the rice looks like but I had the same rice and it wasn’t in mine also we’ve had a delivery from them and it wasn’t in that rice either. I didn’t make a fuss as the restaurant had other customers including children and it wouldn’t of been fair on them but I was upset as we left our whole dinner, paid the bill and left waisting £49 :( Oh well lesson learnt we will not be going there again!!

Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent staff

I hadn't bought a take-away from this restaurant for about 4 years. I used to always like it and the price was always fair. This time the price was still ok but the food was not. I had a chicken madras with pilau rice which is what I always used to have. The chicken was smaller pieces than before. The sauce was the wrong colour and it wasn't thick. Worst of all it just wasn't nice. The pilau rice didn't seem right and I just didn't like it. What I remember is somebody standing in the restaurant telling me how good the chef was. He wasn't a waiter so I don't know who he was. I don't know if he was trying to pull the wool over my eyes but it didn't work. When I was leaving he walked over to the door and pulled the door open. I can open a door myself so I found that very annoying. I just wish I had had it in me to tell him that. I'm not going there again, and obviously the food has gone downhill.

Amazing food, perfect service, as delivered on time and great to see a familiar member of the staff who delivered it. We have had a few curries in lockdown and none come close to spice fusion. We thank you for opening it is a lovely treat in these strange times.

Will only ever go to this Indian restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The also deliver and the food always arrives hot. Would Recommend giving this restaurant a try. The chicken podina is the best curry I’ve ever had

Usually great food but...on a £32.00 order!! Food delivered 2hrs early!!, yes,you are right,getting rid of leftovers,when food checked,onion bahji's burnt and un edible from being reheated,dry and hard,if this is how they value their customers,especially on such a large order then steer clear,not returning....Manager needs to be fired and a new 1 put in place,one that values customers

We had an amazing delivery the other night. Chicken Dansak & Prawn Madras were excellent. Also the rice, breads and bombay potato were fantastic. Well done Spice Fusion!!! Cant wait to order again

Visited with friends for my husband's 60th Birthday. This is an eat in restaurant that does offer some takeaway delivery, but I prefer to eat in. The staff are lovely, and the food is consistently good. So all 6 of us had a great night and I don't hesitate to recommend this place to friends,

Awful service as usual. Tried this place 3 times now. Always promise a 1 hour delivery and haven’t yet managed to receive within 2 hours. Average food when it arrives. Never again. Avoid at all costs

As a regular user of this restaurant we were disappointed with tonight’s takeaway. The food was cold and tasteless. (The restaurant is five minutes from our address) My Garlic Chilli Tikka Korai was tasteless, the chicken was dry and cold as was the rice. My wife’s s mixed grill was dry and cold, and not up to their usual standard As regular customers of this restaurant we were really disappointed.

Had a wonderful curry here on Saturday evening, our first since the relaxation of Covid rules. A few changes in the restaurant, with wipeable menus and the waiters wearing Face masks. The quality of the food is still excellent and Ali our waiter was very attentive. The restaurant was reasonably quite (we did get there at 18:30) but there was loads of deliveries going out. Had a chicken naga today and was incredible. Perfect level of heat and spice. Poppadom was a nice freebie and came with free dips. Will definitely get again!

The staff are lovely but the food is very stodgy for me. Lamb tikka starter and onion bahji starter are both good.

We came here as a last minute meal. The food was really delicious! The service was great. Really lovely indian! Definitely recommend, very reasonable as well!

Myself and two old school friends (really old actually) eat here once a month - or did before lockdown. The food is consistently excellent with the Desi Machli being a particular favourite with beautiful white fish. Fresh and tasty and great friendly service makes for a top night every time. I can happily state that takeaways during lockdown have also been hot, fresh and extremely tasty - recommended...

Due to not being able to visit our favourite restaurant because of the lockdown we ordered a takeaway, it was delivered earlier than expected was piping hot, and was absolutely fantastic, many thanks to Ali, hussein, and all the staff at this great restaurant, when all this lockdown has finally finished we will be sure to see you all again, stay safe, be lucky, many thanks, Lee & karen

This is the benchmark to compare other Indian restaurants it’s premiere league well cooked food good quality ingredients & polite friendly staff .

I've been to this restaurant before and had a good experience. However, after my visit last night I will not be returning. I did not feel welcomed. I went to the restaurant about an hour before closing and it would seem as if I committed a crime. The waiter had an attitude, an extra dish came out that was not ordered and it became apparent that they forgot I ordered wine. The waiter wasn't attentive. If looks could kill, I'd be dead.

me and my partner were searching for indian takeaways and come across spice fusion crayford so thought let's try that so ordered a couple of Currys to take away , boy we were glade we did absolutely delicious was not disappointed please try 5 out of 5 stars

Fantastic value for money but wasn’t expecting the extra spice in the poppadum tray - just finished eating said poppadom and found a little browny cream colour ant thingy scuttling round the paper doily that was in the dish - nice! We pointed it out to the waiter who whisked the dish away and literally swept it under the carpet and pretended nothing had happened.If you want weevils a la curry, this is the place to visit.I’ve been visiting this restaurant for years and feel very let down!Not good. !

Been a few times, tried different items on the menu. Always well cooked, lots of flavour, portions are large so share rice as 2 portion were too much for us as curry main also generous. Great service, helpful staff

Popadoms & chutneys very nice, ordered the mix starter & it was horrible the samosas we're soft similar to the ones you can buy from the supermarket the onion bhaji's were the flat ones which had no taste, the sheeke kebab was just ok the chicken Tikka however was lovely, decided to go with the lamb bhuna as I fancied something tasty rather than spicy due to the weather, it just didn't taste like a bhuna should & the lamb wasn't soft like it promised in the menu, the rice was ok, a few cardamom pods left in giving it a real nice taste, the garlic naan was nice & you can't go wrong with a pint of cobra, all in all I'd go elsewhere but it's not badly priced (not very good either)

Ordered food for delivery at 6pm. No sign of my order at 7:15pm, so I contacted the restaurant and asked for an update, to which I was told 10 minutes. 20 minutes later the food arrived - stone cold. Sent back, refund requested. No further orders!

This Indian restaurant is fab, the chicken in my balti was very tender and delicious. visited with friends and we were all happy with our meal. The service was quite slow which is unusual in an Indian restaurant but it was a busy Saturday night so maybe expected. this will now be our go to curry house.

Been coming here for a few years now. Never had a bad thing to say. Food is aways good and the staff are extremely friendly. Nice touches, such as chocolates and liquor with the bill and a rose for the ladies, will keep this place above competition IMO.

Went down to Spice Fusion on a whim, managed to book a table. The restaurant was very busy with a stream of take away customers. No problems for the staff. I had a very nice Murghi Mustaki but asked for it to be madras heat. The food arrived after about 20 minutes, but seeing how busy it was I was impressed. The meal was excellent. As always all the waiters were very attentive and friendly. Thanks again Spice Fusion

Good place eat.Top class restaurant. Food is very tasty. Friendly staff. My favourite Indian. Fusion Special, Chingri supreme, Garlic chilli tikka korai, naga chicken, podina chicken, salmon shashlik are some of the top dishes wort trying.

Nice variety throughout the menu. Decent prices and good portion sizes. If you go in a group it's probably better to order one less sauce dish as they are quite big.

It’s been ages since we've been to Spice Fusion. Especially since it’s our 'local'.My Daughter booked us in as a thank you for a great holiday we’d just returned from. Service and food were excellent. We had a Fusion Special and a Murghi Mustaki along with sides, a bottle of wine and a couple of beers all for less than £55. Thanks Ali for your very attentive service and the doggy bags (curry for Sunday supper as well, yum yum). We’ll try and not take so long to return.

I liked for an Indian restaurant while stooping in Dartford only to find a large number, however experience has shown me To look for one that has a good veggie menu as it shows it caters for all tastes and was delighted with my choice. We were warmly greeted and attended to, the food we chose was excellent, plentiful and quickly served by the friendly staff. An excellent evening and experience complemented by the food and staff.

Four of us visited this restaurant and the food was really delicious. I’m not an expert on Indian food, but two of our friends are and they said they always enjoy eating here because of the standard and variety of the cuisine. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only negatives really I think comes from its popularity. Every table was taken and unfortunately the tables are, in my opinion, too close together. Also, we had a table booked for 7.30 and despite not having starters, our main meals didn’t get to us until 8.50. Nevertheless we would visit again because the food was worth the wait.I noticed they also offer a free home delivery service within a 3 mile radius with a minimum order of £15.

As long as we are in Crayford we will always be going here for a curry. The service is always for nice and genuine and food always fresh. Great for a candlit dinner.

Always happy with food and service when I visit this establishment. Whether eating in or take away I don't find the quality to dwindle which can sometimes be the case.I'd always recommend a Korai dish which is my personal favourite. The staff are friendly and the complimentary drink of Tia Maria & Cream at the end of the meal sends you home happy.

We as a family always eat in the Spice Fusion - great food - very big portions and great service - they are more than happy for you to take home what you cannot eat. If you like good Indian food made fresh to order then this is the place for you.
