Spice Flavaz in Wirral

Fantastic food as always. The oxtail was delicious, perfect rice and peas. Patties, callaloo and fried festival were also great. Quick delivery and piping hot food. Can't recommend enough!

We had a cheeky date night tonight. The staff and ambience were lovely. I had the curry platter and husband had the beef stew - both were delicious. A special commendation to the apple crumble. We will definitely be back - cheers x

Bank holiday Sunday visit. Was hoping to sit outside to watch the war ships & display with some good food & drinks with friends. Turned up to have a selection of independent stalls selling bits inside. Food stalls closed only 2 of the lot open. Bar staff upstairs upstairs lacked customer care & poured the wrong pint. Had 1 drink & left. Lost its touch from when it first opened.

What a shame this pub has become. You used to get reasonable food and a good pint, but not anymore. Gone from visiting weekly to avoiding now due to poor food, bad service and even worse beer. They are clearly having difficulties in staffing, as the food is warmed by anyone they can get, and often is either burnt, cold or both. The beer has gone from a good pint to awful, if you go on a Saturday you would think the pipes would have been cleaned for the weekend, sadly not! The only thing cleaned less frequently are the glasses, which come in any shade of lipstick you want.
