Spice Cottage in Glasgow City

Waited an hour and 30 minutes for two wraps and a pizza, asked for the pizza to be stuffed crust and it was just normal, food was okay but not worth an hour and a half’s wait

usually great from here but tonight was a little disappointing , kids meal was well over cooked, pizza wasn't like normal had a weird taste and was more sauce than chicken every slice was dripping wasn't a great pizza. also wrong sauce was delivered.

Chips where solid, think they where reheats! Went straight in the bin! Kebab had no salad, won’t order again

Part of order was stuffed crust pizza, normal crust arrived. Not a big issue but charged for the stuffed crust none the less. Chips, cheese and salad: salad was 3 pieces of diced tomato, two slices of a diced cucumber, and some brown lettuce. Yum 👎

90 minutes to arrive (30 minute delivery time when ordering). We called shop to chase up order. I had left a note on the order to change the sauce in my tikka meal as the sauce i wanted wasn’t an option under this meal (South Indian garlic) - on delivery was asked for £2.50 cash to cover cost of sauce change. Disappointing to ask after such a delay and also had there been more options on just eat under this meal we would have paid the supplement rather than scrambling for cash on delivery.

we order from here ALOT and its usually amazing but today the naan bread seemed stale and the kebab sauce was very very spicy.. just a bit dissapointed tonight with the order.

Not great,,got mixed calzone,,very minimal chicken tikka,,tiny bits,,supposed to also contain pepperoni,,not 1 bit in calzone,,basically a doner calzone

Portions are getting smaller as prices increase

Delicious! The special shishlik kebab the meant was well seasoned and soft! Delicious can’t complain and it was piping hot as always! Delivery was top quality as it always is too!

I always get my spicy chicken pizza from here, it’s amazing! No other one compares. We’ve never had a kebab from here, but my son absolutely loved it? ❤️

Food was ok, chips delicious however I asked for no spicy onions in the calzone and no chicken pakora in the mixed pakora, the pakora came correct no chicken but the calzone had spicy onions so unfortunately had to go in the bin, would order again though as good was hot and the food would could eat was nice.

Spice cottage is one of my top favourite places to get something to eat from there kebab brilliant there chips brilliant there pizza brilliant everything about the shop and the food in the shop is amazing if you want a good takeaway get this

very late on in ordering. mixed kebab tasted ok .Nice donner meat ordered also a mixed biryani. also nice but only had a couple of tiny bits of lamb. the portion quantity was very poor indeed.

Good grub food missing rice from order and another one got brought quickly but if would have waited everything else would have been cold more care needs to be taken as not the first time this has happened. Regular chicken pakora was wery small portion not impressedt it was good quality tho customers should be compensated for these service mistakes or they won't be repeat customers

asked for onions tomatoes sauce on top . i can't stand other salads on kebab had to scrap kebab as never read what I asked for 😔

chips cold and wrong sauce given not pakora, so my we one couldnt eat it!!. curry sauce was half full. never had a problem here food is always on point but failed miserably tonight.!!

Love the food from here but my 2 daughters were gutted tonight not to get their sauce on their chips cheese and donner. I asked for it in comment section. Maybe just because it was busy.

Chicken pakora wasn't the greatest had a off putting smell so didn't eat much of it , kids cheese pizza and chips where fine tho

don't know if it was because I ordered so late but large munchie box seemed as tho there wasn't as much in it as usual

I don't normally leave reviews and even though our order was a little late the food was brilliant! Absolutely piping hot and tasted great definitely think we've found our new takeaway ☺️

Always praise the Pizza and food in general from the Spice Cottage(along with decent price)but the service from the staff is second to none.Haven't been in for a while but picked my order up tonight and member of staff said"There's your pizza,Mr Costco"....This is how good they are with customers.Always remember their regulars and the community around.Can't put a price on that.

Ordered pizza and chips waited 2 hours and food was cold. Normally great from here but food was sent back. Never leave reviews but 2 hours for a pizza is shocking

Korma sauce lovely, sadly calzone was not, base like a brick, plus had to wait another 20 mins for it to be ready for collection

Worst pizza I've ever had from here, burnt on top n fell apart it was that soggy at the bottom. Fell apart soon as you lifted it. 2 bites and in the bin. Base tasted cheap and nasty. Absolutely vile.

Been ordering out here for years but there pizzas have went right down hill there basses are paper thin and they hardly put any tomato purée on the base basically cheesy bread

Disappointed with our food tonight. We ordered a Madras, this sauce appeared to be more sweet than spicy. Hardly any chicken.

I order a lot from this shop and never really have issues. Sadly I need to be honest my order was not great last night. The bbq kebab didn’t have much bbq on it and I found a bone in the chicken. (This has NEVER happened before) we were missing sauce that I ordered and the garlic mayo was meant to be separate not on chips. That might have been the way I ordered it not sure. Pizza was great and kids meal was great.

Used to be spot on don’t like leaving bad reviews but last time we will be ordering from here attitude was all wrong was only calling to make enquiry , second guy I spoke to had great customer service just won’t be ordering again better service and food from spice boys Swindon

Where do I start first and foremost this takeaway was good at some point but over past few months the orders have been either wrong and the standard of food has been shocking ordered chicken burger asked for only lettuce and mayonnaise and got just cheese would take a second to check the notes this is always on our notes and always wrong . The pizzas in the other hand have been undercooked and all you taste is the soft dough very disappointed and won't be back

The delivery came on time everything was pipeing hot chicken in the chicken pakora just melted in the mouth the hole lot was just super 👌🏼 will be ordering again

As always the kebab was delicious an my chicken pakora was juicy an not dried out like other shops, defo order again from here.

Chips & Gravy was nice and the Burger but chicken nuggets tasted like fish .. mite wanna put the temperature of your oil up maybe or cook the chicken in diff oil

You put salad on my chips when I asked for no salad :( won’t stop me from coming here, the food is always the best, first time I’ve been disappointed :(:(:(
