This is a great place to go if you like delicious Italian food and you are not in a hurry. The owner is a lovely man who even took the time to show us how he prepared and cooked our meals. Every meal is prepared with fresh ingredients, cooked individually and with a passion for food. The food is worth waiting for!

Randomly turned into the yards to see what other food was available on Thursday evening. Usual burger van , but exploring found the garden shed conversion into humble Italian restaurant. No silly, “have you booked “ questions and food, great value traditional. Will definitely be back again Unlike big chains who have empty tables and staff doing nothing.

We literally stumbled upon this little gem by accident. The food was amazing, the value for money was fantastic , the owner was charming along with being a brilliant authentic Italien cook. I couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Tiny Shack in the Yards in Kettering (like something out a B52s song) - I was at the yards today to have a look around in the shops, felt a bit peckish and on impulse went in. Carbonara - most of the time in the UK it's some ghastly cream based muck - this was properly made as served in Italy to people who like food - absolutely gorgeous and authentic. I got a taste of the Lasagne as well OMG the meat base was clearly lovingly crafted and I can only imagine what the Bol... sorry Ragu pasta serving must be like. Amazing. I will be back.

The food here is absolutely exceptional and well worth a visit. It's a tiny shed in the Yards so there are only two indoor tables but plenty of outdoor seating and he does food to take away. It is all home cooked to order so expect a wait but it is so so worth it. Just grab a drink or do a bit of shopping in the independent stores whilst you wait. And it is so cheap!! Main meals are all under £6 which is beyond good value.

This is a large wooden shed in The Yards, its tiny, its not fast food, but it is very very good food. It’s home cooked to order so be prepared to wait, but it is so worth it. This is the most authentic Italian we have had outside of Italy.

Total antithesis to ‘fast food’. It took a little time to arrive but well worth the wait. Best value, freshly cooked Italian I’ve tried outside of Italy. Friendly chef/owner(?). Will defo be eating here again. I think other clients had pre-ordered to avoid the long wait. Simple, cheap, delicious - for once a restaurant experience in Kettering that didn’t end in disappointment.

We had to go again, just to make sure that Claudio was still serving the same excellent food at ridiculously low prices! And he is! Cosy in his small wooden shack, intimate but socially distanced. Zingy Arrabiata. We're going back on Friday and have preordered risotto.

A limited menu of freshly cooked pasta dishes, top quality ingredients cooked to order (be prepared to wait a little). The experienced Italian chef is an absolute delight and the small venue lends itself perfectly to the feel of a genuine family-run Italian eatery. Delicious food, beautifully presented in an informal indoor or outdoor setting. But wait until you get the bill! The most expensive dish is £4.50 and good quality wine at £13 a bottle. How does he do it? Get there before the word gets out!!

Went for a family birthday meal. Had a great evening, the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and we even had a small tiramisu birthday cake with candles which was not booked. Will definitely go back.

What a lovely place to eat at. I have trouble walking. I walk with sticks. I do not go out for any meals as everwhere has tables too close together do i struggle. So i don't go out. Kens mayes gave him a generous voucher for the palmicheal for his birthday last year. He talked me into going out with him. Loads of room around the tables. I had a salad for starters. My husband Ken had calamari. Both were lovely. We both had steak. Chips and onion rings. They melted in your mouth so lovely. Pudding I had 3 scoops of ice cream yum yum. Ken had lemon tart. All food was wonderful. All staff we pleasant friendly and very helpfull. The bill was not as expensive as i d thought considering what we had. The tables well set out. Clean tidy. Wheelchair friendly. Thank you so very much for making our night out memorable for the right reasons.
