The pizzas are good, with very thin pizza crusts. I recommend the place.

Delicious pizza, as thick as it gets down in Naples and surrounding areas. I started my meal with some fabulous arancini and a dip on a side, exquisite! Then, I had my Bufalina which was served pippin’ hot. Loved my meal!!

We usually love the pizzas. Ordered a vegetarian pizza and whilst eating noticed ham within it. A fresh pizza was offered but needless to say it put me off, being a vegetarian.

This restaurant is incredibly cosy, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing, with standout dishes like the smoked scamorza starter—rich and flavourful—and the surprisingly delicious pumpkin-based pizza. For desert we had a super light and delicious Tiramisu. It transported me to my mother's kitchen and a reminded a homemade dessert. The staff are not only friendly but also exceptionally proactive, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you.

Authentic as far as I can tell. Many of the staff speak Italian to each other and they seem to use loads of Italian imported ingredients.

A decent small pizzeria that focuses on high quality food. Not really relevant to the food or service, but parking in the area can be quite tricky. We found the vegan pizza/cheese to be not pleasant but the regular margherita was tasty as was the garlic bread.

Had both dine in and take away now. Today, ordered for our staff. Can't fault anything. Without doubt the BEST pizza around. Great dough. Quality toppings. Properly done. No messing about. Look forward to trying the entire list! Got NHS discount too!

Wonderful food and top for kindness

A must visit. Napoli in the heart of Colindale. The food is fabulous, authentic stone baked pizzas, traditional tortino d patata, pastas, the list goes on, all washed down with traditional local beers. A gem of a place, with a cosy family type atmosphere. The staff are so very attentive, catering to every little need. A must visit!

I’m not joking when I say that I feel like home. I haven’t been in Italy in 6 years and yet I’ve never seen nor found a place that could bring me home like Spaccanapoli. I would recommend it blindly to anyone who likes an Italian pizza and wants to feel like being in Italy without leaving the perimeter of the city. 10/10

Pop in for 2 takeaway pizzas today as I ve seen pictures online and i could see it looks proper italiam food which i love! The ladies at the front were smiling and very nice and friemdly and the chef accomodated my request! Prices are very good at drinks, desserts and mains! Can t wait to go back to try more dishes! Definetly the pizza will only be ordered from here !!

Unfortunately the pizza is not great, it is not bad, but neither is very good. The ingredients are not top quality, the bufala mozzarella is so anonymous that I am not even sure it is 100% bufala mozzarella. Not only the taste, it lacks the traditional consistency of a bufala mozzarella, at ASDA they have a better one (and it's not great). Disappointingly they call arancini some fried rice balls that have nothing in common with arancini, this is misleading. Not worth it, there are better and more authentic pizzerias in London. In case the owner is willing to disagree with me, remember you call arancini something that is not arancini, your opinion is pointless if you lack knowledge of Italian cuisine. Edit after owner reply: They admit the arancini are not arancini, which is good, anyway, the fried rice ball had no sign of mozzarella, it was just rice and pesto, but what is worse is that the menu says "spinach" not pesto, pesto is made with nuts, so they provides food with nuts without any info of this on menu, I lowered my review because the lack of care to food allergies. Personally I don't have frustration or anger as supposed by the owner, nor willingness to harm anyone, just inform other potential customers to help them to choose. Edit after further owner reply which states that their pesto is handmade nut free pesto, well, then it is not pesto. Pesto requires pine nuts, without it, it is not pesto. Happy they don't put allergens without advertising it, however, talking about pesto nut free shows the lack of knowledge about the italian cousine. Please stop misleading your customers, if it is not pesto, don't call it pesto. Applying the same logic, calling pesto to something it is not pesto, we can call their pizza a pizza-free pizza

Such a lovely cosey gem in Colindale I recommend this place 100times I’ve been back about three times this past month 😭 the staff are so lovely and are always up for a friendly chat from an oldie like me 🤍 can’t wait to be back next week haha !

For the few years I've ordered from Spaccanapoli, the pizza has been nothing short of incredible every single time. Consistent incredible pizza since I first ordered and the toppings are likely the best quality toppings of any pizza I have ever had. Cannot rave enough about it

Neapolitan style pizza really mediocre for an Italian pizzeria. The ingredients are fresh but bland: the tomato is not tasty and sweet, the mozzarella is neutral and not creamy, the buffalo mozzarella absolutely anonymous. The dough, which should be the real protagonist is absolutely tasteless and not fragrant: in fact when you enter and even when they bring the hot pizza to the table there is not the characteristic inviting smell of Neapolitan pizza. What a shame, it was a sad disappointment!

Dear Spaccanapoli We have ordered take away pizza from your restaurant for years. However, yesterday we ordered two pizza and one peroni bottle. The driver brought an open peroni bottle with a wine stopper that leaked. He had to say he didnt drink it, however, the moment he saw the issue, he should have notifed the restaurant. In turn the restaurant should never have sent an already open bottle of beer with a wine stopper on. This is unacceptable and against the health and safety standards of any restaurant to function in. I suggest to obtain future decent standard ratings this is dealt with swiftly.

I have been here for the 3rd time in the space of 2 months and they have never failed me ....1st time was with my daughter, just the 2 of us, 2nd time 32 of us for a work event that's I organised and Giuseppe and his team were fantastic and the 3rd time with friends and their kids and everyone has loved it and would definitely go back again. I can't wait to go back again xx

Great pizza dough and fresh ingredients

Thank you so much for accommodating our party! Had a small gathering of 8 kids and adults for my son's birthday after going to InflataNation, and this pizza place was so super great despite us almost taking over the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the kids and adults alike had a great time.

My mrs and I used to go here plenty of times, we’ve taken friends, family and had many a good time at Spaccanapoli, I’ve been out of town on and off for a while so we haven’t been there for some time, now have a friend over from Naples so I thought I’d order in and use their own delivery service. OOPS! £5.99 for delivery! Plus a £6.23 tip! 2 pizzas, 1 panuzzo, 2 beers and a coke. On Uber eats this would have been £49.70, but with the delivery, tip and restaurant fee this has gone up to £63. Not cool right! Never mind I thought, let’s splash out. I scheduled delivery for 6.30-7pm, it arrived at just on 7, as I watched the driver on the map, 40 minutes from Colindale to Edgware ☹️cold, chewy basically inedible! Have they changed the dough? I used their chat bot to complain, who assured me the restaurant would be in touch to sort this out, NOTHING! Not even an excuse to keep good will. I find this extremely disappointing. And I wouldn’t dare say here what my Neapolitan friend had to say about it. So Spaccanapoli, I’d love to say, sorry it’s not you, it’s me, but I’m afraid it’s definitely you. You dropped the ball. You’ve killed a beautiful relationship.

I have ordered on Uber eats multiple times to this place. Either the pizza is under cooked or burnt. I regularly order the bruschetta and last two times they have messed up the bread, either two different pieces or completely missing the bread. Portion sizes for the bruschetta have got smaller and the same for the tiramisu

The best pizza I have eaten in London. Leaving this pizzeria was the saddest thing when we moved out of Colindale

Their pizzas used to be one of the best around North London, last order I had on 12th March requested extra mushrooms and ruggola. They had completely forgotten about it and charged for all the extra toppings. The pizza arrived cold and soggy, and I never received an apology although I presented a complaint with Uber Eats.

This restaurant was the best place for vegan italian food compared to all the Italian restaurants we had ever visited in the UK, including the Michelin starred restaurants. We were so happy that such a great choice of restaurant was in our local area and we’d take all our friends and family here without a doubt that the experience would be anything but great. Unfortunately the restaurant made the decision to change its vegan menu recently, which has stopped us going back again. The vegan pizzas were the best we’d ever had in the uk, however this is no longer the case after it chose to remove all vegan cheese from its menu! This is the worst commercial decision the restaurant has made and I’d highly recommend they go back to their previous menu as they risk losing their vegan customer base. Such a shame to have lost a great choice of restaurant.

Never mind the dirt, never mind the poor service, never mind the "pasta with pesto" that by sticking a fork into it you can lift the whole dish together... I returned to Italy with an intestinal virus. Unfortunately you can't give less than one star.

UBER EATS DELIVERY (Highest rated delivery): Ordered the chilli prawns and Sofia pizza. Pizza was cold, soggy, wasn't sliced, chewy and not crispy as Italian pizza should be. Prawns were poorly packaged, definitely weren't pan roasted but had good flavour. Just prawns in tomato sauce with 1 slice of bread. Taste of sauce on the pizza was good and toppings tasted fresh enough apart from the chicken. Disappointing 😞

I dined at Spaccanapoli for the first time last week and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the service was brilliant. This is quite a small restaurant and when I ate there, I felt as though I was on holiday! I am fortunate enough to live quite close by, so will definitely be going again soon! :)

Honestly think this the Italian/pizza we’ve ever had in London. The appetizers were amazing too! We had the arancini and calamari and they were both phenomenal. Then napoletena and diavola pizza - service was awesome too!

Incredible Neapolitan pizza. Giuseppe was extremely accommodating and friendly. When I asked if it was possible to host a pizza marking party for my 7 year old. I thought it was a long shot but Giuseppe said sure we can do something! The kids loved it and everyone had the best time. The look on their faces when their creations came out the oven and were placed in front of them was my highlight of the day. They didn't do pizza making parties but they now should. Thank you Giuseppe and to the team. 🍕 🍕 🍕

Casual neighbourhood italian with friendly service. I've never tasted a proper carbonara so I ordered that. It was a triumph - rich, golden, egg based sauce with delicious chewy pancetta (vs the typical Brit version of white roux with bacon). I asked for a side salad of cherry tomatoes and rocket and even that was dressed to perfection. Five of us dined for my birthday and the rest enjoyed their pizzas and aperol spritzers, although I think I ordered the best dish 😊

As a local Spaccanapoli has been a gem amongst an excess of kebab shops and cheap fast food in the Colindale area. I have had consistently good food and good service (including home delivery) whether dining alone or with friends and/ or family. It's hard to recommend just one main dish as all the pizza and pasta I have had over the years has been good, but do eat-in if you can, remembering to book as they do fill up at weekends. Oh and give the pistachio iced dessert a try - it's my fav! I'm only sad that they're losing a wonderful member of staff next week; Zaneita was an asset at the front-of-house, and she will be missed by us regulars.

I have been going to Spaccanapoli for years and I just love the food! Super fresh and tasty, and bursting with Napoli-based authenticity! I also love the team because I’m always greeted with a smile, excellent, and personalised service, and there’s a sense of community as soon as you walk through the door. I have come so many times with friends - and we all love it, but now my partner and I have also been coming in the last year and Spaccanapoli is the first place we think of when the craving is for Italian food! Thank you so much to Andrianna and Zaneita who made our last visit even more lovely!
