First order and definitely won't be the last. The chicken balti had just the right amount of spice heat and chicken beautiful cooked. The hubby rated his donner excellent.

Ordered 2 half pounder cheese burger and chips five minute delivery food arrives cold rang them to be told to put it in the oven and heat it up blamed the weather it must have been sat in the cold for it to be cold when arrived never ever will I buy from this takeaway again Wanted to leave no stars but that's not a option

Fantastic experience with sowerby delight. Ordered 14 large pizzas and chips etc for my daughter's birthday party, all arrived on time and hot. Thought I ordered too much but the kids polished it all off. Thank you!

This place is absolutely incredible! The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is top-notch. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the boss, Jamal, is a real gentleman. You definitely have to try this place if you’re a pizza lover! Curries are best in the Town too.

Food tasted amazing but my order wasn’t right, I ordered 2 different curries and got 2 of the same, and wasn’t either of the ones I ordered, there was meant to be a pickle tray but only mint yogurt was provided. It was fairly cold too by the time it got delivered. Really nice food but disappointing that I didn’t get what I ordered

Ordered a chicken rogan josh...bloody awful...it was just chicken pieces in a red sauce, no taste whatsoever...no tomatoes, no coriander, no spices..nothing...gave it 2 stars as onion bahgees were good...1st and last time for us

Food was good but when I put a note requesting something, when you ring me to and I confirm you got my note you agreed but then STILL DIDN’T DO IT😂 luckily food was nice still but I WANTED MINT SAUCE NOT CHILLI SAUCE so my kebab was dry

Came really early, but I asked for no sauce on the kebab and it came swimming in it and I couldn’t eat it unfortunately. Naan bread was a bit underdone :(

The food is a good amount if you order the box meals can't say about the rest because I've not really ordered anything other than the box meals. It's fast food which is good as it's a fast food place

Missing items from order, called to let them know and was told 15 mins and the missing items never tuned up. The burgers were very greasy and tjlhe bread disintegrated , a lake of oil on top of my mushroom bhaji and the wedges were soaked in oil. ONLY good point the order arrived quickly but wasn't worth the £39 I paid, vile, avoid.

Had a takeout via just eat. Chicken tikka and a lamb tikka. Absolutely delicious. Fast become our go to on a Friday evening.

ordered an identical order that I had 4 nights ago because that 1st one I had was amazing sadly this one tonight I couldn't eat the curry did not have any taste whatsoever I was so disappointed it wasn't even the same color as the 1st one. so I won't be ordering on a Tuesday night again as there's obviously a different chef to Saturday nights. very very rare I haven't liked a curry from sowerby delight but tonight just wasn't up to their normally amazing food.

curry was amazing onion bhaji was a bit well done for my liking but rest was amazing.

order arrived late and they forgot our pizza. they then tried to deliver it 45 mins later but by this time we had eaten our tea.

Food that we did get was lovely, however, order was missing an item which we phoned up and told the takeaway about straight away and they said they would send a driver back out with this. After around 15 mins, we kept receiving numerous phone calls stating we were lying and the item was with order when clearly it wasn't as we had eaten the rest of the food. Staff were so rude and also tried insinuating this was the 2nd time we had done this with them when this is our first time ordering!!!

My go to takeaway if its not soweby delight I'm not interested the kebabs are the best in town you will not be disappointed

The chips were cold and hard the cheesy chips were no better with the cheese one solidified lump, the burger wasn’t great cheese not even melted korma was good very tasty onion Bhaji was a squashed Pattie and not appetising wery disappointed

I always order from here and it's always amazing but they missed off my burger and when I phoned up to complain they said it will be with me in 20 minutes and hour later I phone them back to ask where it was and they said its on its way after everyone in my house has eaten apart from me I told them I know longer want it I won't be ordering from them again anymore

The food was late but I received a text message to let me know. Worth the wait though, chips were good, chicken pakora were the best I've had in a very long time. Kebab was tasty with a lot of salad just how I like it. Will likely order again.

delicious kebabs and arrived early which was a bonus

missed all Chapattis from the order . tried on 2 occasions to ring with no joy just to inform them. also the madras was bland with no taste at all. the Rogan josh only tasted of the tikka paste they used to fry with the onions and tomatoes ect.

Don't give them your email or phone number. They will constantly send you messages from different numbers to avoid being blocked! Have reported the spam text messages and "unsubscribed" on their website. (I never subscribed in the first place)

They WILL NOT stop texting me about special offers, even when I keep blocking their phone numbers.

Absolutely lovely food at great prices! Delivery is super-speedy and all the staff are just lovely! Cannot recommend more highly!

Parts of meal deal were missing

Ordered food at half 11 they accepted it on Uber eats then 20 minutes later cancelled it and when I rang them they said they were closing but they don’t close till 12, they could have made and delivered it in 20 minutes, I also said I’d collect and they still said no!! Only second time going and the first time was amazing but this has deffo made me never want to go again!!

Curry tasted watered down with little taste, the chapatis were rock hard and more like a taco than a chapati and the Donner meat was literally tasteless and full of gristle would not recommend to go here was left very angry with this takeaway

They forgot 2 of my items and I paid with cash and instead of giving me my money back for them they just drove off saying they will give it me next time. this has been 2/3 times where they "forgotten" a item of food. suggest checking your food before paying.

Food arrived cold. Chapattis too hard to chew. Milkshakes and curry had spilt allover the bags and the calzone tasted like pure salt and the bottom was soggy with grease. May aswell have flushed £30 down the bog. Been trying to call the restaurant but no answer so far. Won't be using again

I first ordered on their own web site, the website or them got the delivery address wrong, I ordered the same food again telling them what they did, I didn’t get a sorry or anything! Worse still is when I got the food it was so cold it had turned into a solid lump the fries were hard and cold ! So much for making a good impression at work saying I know a good take out! Well if you like cold food and a couldn’t give a toss attitude, this take away is for you!

Order took 2 1/2 hours to arrive… rang the takeaway several times and everytime the person on the phone said the order was out for delivery after a further hour the delivery finally turned up COLD from a driver that said he was from the takeaway next door and was doing them a favour and only set off 10minutes prior, meaning the takeaway lied several times on the phone to us..

Good food. Good luck with £9.00 for a boneless box, might as well go known branded with kfc. Sorry guys we won’t be back now.

Ordered takeaway came 1 hour 30 mins later food cold told delivery driver to just take it back for him to say it was warm Takeaway called to say they where short of drivers don’t take orders if you can’t fulfill them

Delivery on time but barely Luke warm. Donner came in pitta rather than the naan I ordered. Would pay for salad and sauce separately next time cos salad was v soggy.

Food was late and and stone cold. Had to reheat when it got here as wasn't edible. Very unusual as never had issue before.
