Absolutely quality amazing food, I would say one of the best in Halifax and always have been never plain or boring. Quality amazing staff.

I requested for the pizza not to be too spicy as mcmoodys pizzas are too spicy for my palette but it was still too spicy quality of pizza👎base always seem like it's deep fried😪 i enjoyed the wings

This place has gone downhill considerably over the last couple of years. It’s a shame really as I used to always order the masala fish, pizzas and cheeseburgers from here. I think they’ve just become complacent

food was so cold i threw it in the bed the shake was just flavoured milk and tastless.

Ordered an Asian style pizza with green chilli and a chicken steak in pitta. No chillies on pizza tasted absolutely yukh and the pitta smelt off. Just tried to feed it to the neighbours Beagle and he sniffed it and ran inside. That goes to show the quality of food being offered at this place. If you want to try this place and like it then you've got better taste than my neighbours Beagle

Cold food. Really disappointed in this place recently. Used to be fantastic, but somethings going wrong.

This place is honestly the best takeaway in Halifax, they never get anything wrong and never let you down. Every bit of the menu is amazing.

Doner meat undercooked and cold and chicken burger was like biting into a straw hat!!! Never had a take away from here before and won’t be ordering again!

Burger was absolutely burnt, I ordered in advance because it was late but they are open until 4am, I did phone next day and they did apologise but I wouldn't order again from here

food was quite cold and hard as well as being late by almost 30 mins. usually love it here but was disappointed this time around

I would highly recommend the Freshly made Mac Moody's special pizza 16" family size pizza. It was very nice and tasty 😋 They are on Uber eats however in shop prices are slightly cheaper.

Beautiful food. Possibly the nicest burgers we have ever had, extremely soft bread and came almost an hour early. Def recommend

Pizza was nice and the burgers. However, the chicken wings looked like they'd been heated up in the microwave and one was still pink inside, so we had to put them in the air fryer to cook them more.

I’m a really picky eater and was nervous to try somewhere new. I went based on the star rating and impressive menu and I’m so glad I did! I forgot to ask for no mayo on my burger and called to mention this. They were friendly, delivered on time, remembered not to put any mayo on (very important haha!), the food was hot, my can of pop was cold and it was really tasty! Hoping it’s like this every time because I can see this being the first order of many!

Shocking service, great food ... even though i called prior to ordering to request that the sauces be placed in a different bag, the workers still put them all in same bag which again for the third time in a row have opened up and ruined all the food ..... sauces all over the the food ... shocking custoner service

I’m afraid the food was cold and had to be reheated.

All though generous portions food took ages to come just thrown in the boxes chips was freezing the burgers and the onions was burnt to the point they was black, kids food was cold also it all went in the bin I did speak with them and at the time it was a new cook I've since returned and not had anymore issues.

Presentation was awful, the food was stone cold, dry as anything and unappetising. We couldn’t eat it.

Normally it’s really good but this time the food wasn’t hot, the pizza was doughy underneath, chips tasted old, chicken burgers was slimy, really disappointing.

Always love Macmoodys. Sadly the food wasn’t up to their usual quality tonight. Not very warm, and the SFC wings, which are always amazing, weren’t at their best tonight. Not much SFC batter, and not zinger. Too much red bone underneath the chicken. Also a a Lilt became a Fanta?? I am surprised, because this place is usually the best takeaway in Halifax bar none! I will definitely give them another go. Just hope this is a blip. Fabulous on time delivery from lovely polite drivers as always!

Food is great, fast delivery, but the prices for the cheese cakes are overpriced especially for what you get should be genuinely half the price.

There milkshakes are really nice they show up on time and are polite they get your order perfect and most of all I'd definitely go back and there food is stunning 😍

Probably best save your money and smash chocolate up at home and blend it yourselves.

Lovely food and the kids menu is fab as they get a different brand of kinder egg and fruit shoot 😆 my child was happy 😊 oh and the chicken rolls 🤤 perfection! My downside to my order ... Jam roly poly isn't jam roly poly it's swish roll 😭 although absolutely devine I would think it would be a bit cheaper for what it is. Other than this thanks guys lovely food 👌

Food came early, the half base of the cheesecake on half of the slice was missing & they legit gave me the smallest slice ever like tiny (no exaggeration)

This place always delivers earlier than the predicted time. I can’t recall a time they have been late. Even on typically busy evenings!

Last night I ordered a takeaway and one of the chicken fillets was a bit undercooked I didn’t think out of it this morning I’ve been sick everywhere and feel like I’ve got food poisoning
