Southern Fried Chicken in Luton

Avoid this place ! They give the smallest portion of food especially chips and they will reheat them so you have greasy hard chips

The pizza came upside down. Sadly i can't upload a picture 😡 for 2 pizzas there was 1 garlic and 1 chili sauce and the ones I paid for.

Worst Kebab I've ever had the misfortune to sample.

One of the only few places left with Southern fried chicken it's not the chicken it's the infamous chili sauce the original southern fried chilli sauce back in the days we used to have this is the only place which does that chilli sauce

I ordered some food from them I received wrong food. I contact with them and they send me the food. And leave the other food as complimentary 😊 thank you

I miss Luton's Southern Fried Chicken, passing my old town where I grew up decided to stop over and get a family pack. I got home late as it was a 3 hour journey to Liverpool. I warmed up the Chicken the next day in my oven and it was delicious like its come fresh out of the henipeni frier. Stopsley's best Chicken & Chips shop 🙌 the chilli sauce is yum yum. Liverpool n the rest of the UK is missing out on this kind of quality grub. The only thing I miss from my old town. 🤣

Haven't used this shop in a very long time due to moving . However I was passing and decided to pop in, the food was hot and reasonably priced portion size was fair, and the person serving was polite and friendly , everything you would want and expect from a chicken shop ,

Ordered chicken wings had to wait 15 minutes for them , they were exceptionally salty

It took them over 2 hours to deliver 2 medium pizzas only 1.5 mile away from their shop and that's not even during peak time as I've ordered just before 4pm. Food arrived rather cold. Called them and they blamed the weather and traffic, while its just raining outside :D If you like waiting then go for it, another one added to the black list.

Hygiene 0* reused donner meat. You can clearly see the donner i was served was off somones plate who ate it, its got chilli sauce marks & garlic sauce marks on it too. Filthy

So I orders pizza and chips and found the pizza burnt and some slices had hair in them. I rang them up and requested a refund and was given it. Great hospitality when I came to my new pizza. The pizza given through the refund was great however I will never be going and ordering from this despicable, disgraceful and devastating place again.

Always get a good Donna kebab here. Not keen on the pickled red cabbage though. Go back to the old stuff.

Chicken chips so nice . need to improve of the fillets burgers because the burgers are so hard to bite into . The donnar meat also needs improving because has no flavour to it.

The food was fresh, chicken was so crispy & had great taste. The fries were crispy & not oily. But the best thing about this place is the original recipe home made chilli sauce, i could have a gallon!

Standard chicken and chip shop but the food is of good quality. I would recommend their burgers and the fried chicken. not tried the pizzas. clean environment.

Food is great for chicken shop standards and prices are reasonable. Delivery quick. Forgot Ice cream as part of order once close to closing and still got sent out to me. Good service 5* 👍

Best chicken and chili sauce in Luton and at reasonable prices

If I could add 0 stars , I would but unfortunately forced to add a minimum of one star. Saying that this place is rubbish , is actually an understatement…. I’m seriously mad at them !!!! What kind of shop owner opens a restaurant making a menu with fake photos misleading people to order something and get something else ??? In the photo it shows tartare sauce and a lemon wedge . And they served me plain fish and chips, and expect me to eat this ??? How much will it cost you to serve a lemon wedge ? 5 p ?? I’m a Chef and I would never make a misleading menu , using fake photos . Cheap place with cheap excuses …. Really sad I had to walk to that place Obviously I didn’t accept to eat the food , I got up and left !

Thieffffffffffff, because we ordered some food after 2,30am on Deliveroo and unfortunately food never arrived and we checked in Google for the restaurant time table and they closed after 12am.we have been starving for food till 4am no answer we called no answer and now we contacted deliveroo help center and they said restaurant said food been delivered. And my question is how come food has been delivered if restaurant was closed and nobody answered the phone. We will go to the council for this incident and make sure the restaurant have proof.. Very disappointed

The most disgusting food I have tried, the patty in the burger smelt really bad, it smelt like it had been left there for days and made me feel sick after eating two bites of it.Single pole The chips were dry and stale. I do reccomend going. Absolutely disgusting!

Bad place lying managers tell u not to go through just eat but go to them direct offer free order as food was over hour late then wouldn't honour it when rung up so I would avoid this place won't order again

I gave one star because of your chilli sauce. Have you changed the recipe? It used to be the perfect/ delicious one. I live in Houghton Regis so I went for miles because of that. I am so disappointed now. There is no reason to buy food there anymore

This place has the best chilli sauce in town. This chilli sauce use to be available at a chicken and chips shop on midland Road in the late 80's early 90's.

Terrible service yet again ordered on the phone and was told food would be ready in 20 mins to collect ended up waiting 45 mins in the shop for cold chicken and don’t think they change the oil where they fry their chips. Wont be coming back for their over priced disgusting food!

We ordered food today and waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to be delivered. The food was disgusting the chips were poor quality black old chips. The fried chicken was soggy. And the chillie sources was spilled all over our drinks. Will not be ordering again.

Food is good but the mayo had lots of black bits in it, including small black hairs as if someone had trimmed/shaved and bits had fallen from their clothes into the mayo. Yuk.

I order all time from here but today the chicken was pink inside not cooked properly and chips not as good as usual .Disappointing

Service is very poor. Staff often overcharge and round up the price to the nearest pound. Has happened on a few occasions and when questioned they do correct it but poor service in the first place to knowingly do this. Very tight with chili and mayo. Ordered ten pounds of food and they only gave 1 chilli and one mayo.

Best chicken shop in Luton! Fast service too

Been going here for years. Order was 2 hours later, arrived cold and chilli everywhere, no bogof pizza, salad wasn’t separate as requested, freezing cold pizza, hard and cold fillet burger not edible. Chips cold with I spoke to them on the phone whilst poor delivery driver waited, he was given the wrong address. Was told We could wait another 45 mins for new food, I said my 2 yr old hadn’t eaten and she would need to go bed. His reply. “What do you want me to do about it.” I said take £10 and go and then he tried to barter me. Food ended up in the bin. Other than one slice of pizza I had to reheat that my daughter finally managed to eat at 8.45pm. Very dissatisfied as been going here for 10 years.

For abdolutley not understandable for me reason. I been treated by one of the staff person, really truly rude. But truly for the all staff and place. Its very nice people thats making really tasty food. Especially the chily souce is probably simly one of the best that you can try in Luton. Its real tomatoes, not just some tomato pasta. So i hope todays incedent. Was one of. Any one have a bad day now and again. And i want to belive, it was the case of it.

Just ordered food when got here it was wrong so called them while driver was still here and they said there was nothing they can do, but didnt stop there went to eat the food and it was cold so called them straight back and got abause by the man that answered the phone asking me if I throught he was stupid cause I just called about the wrong order. £15 of food gone in the bin

Disgusting dry chicken once there was a worm in my burger building is very dirty it has mould everywhere u literally need to cover ur nose or else u will die and the chilli sauce was green u have to be kidding hashim

Average, poor customer service, chicken dry and overcooked. However chips are amazing and so are the burgers, the best meal is the sherred chicken meal with all the flavour and spice. Mostly an average takeaway that sometimes tries to cheat you so look at the menu pricing and stick to yout guns

The building looks very dirty and the chicken is red inside which was very disghusting to eat would not recommend.

What madness is this. Me and my fine fellow have ordered food. And yet there is no food. I would appreciate some food. I have ordered this. And yet it eludes me. This is perplexing since I pay for food one would imagine there would be food. And yet there is not. No explanation. Work shift is nearly over. 10 hungry colleagues. And no refund. Do not order from here unless you are used to starvation. Because that's what you will be receiving. Starvation and 0% food. This is unacceptable! Give me my food, the people need to eat. What madness is this? The kind of madness were there is no food. If i could rate lower I would. Plus i heard this place supports herpes. And wishes to spread it to all your family. Yeah there Hitler level of terrible. No wait. I bet he would honour his commitments.. Then shoot himself!

Shocking!!! The service here is disgusting! Could not comprehend that we live on a new development and just kept telling me we gave the wrong address. Explained to them exactly where it was but they refused to listen. Very rude staff. Cancelled the order and will not order again.

Staff have been super friendly to my friends and me when we go. Food is good and have recommended it several times. Overall, it's a great place for a quick, cheap bite.
