Updated: Down grade from 5 to 1 start Well, its true what the other reviewers say. The waiter is very rude. Just had a very rude and unkind serving. Due to this behaviour of the of certain individual and failure of the management to educate or make changes. I come here every week but not any longer. This restaurant is no longer in my favourite list in Luton. I am going to stop coming. Previous review. One of the hidden and underrated cafe. I had the best cappuccino and cheese melt ever! Cappuccino is made exactly the way it should be, topped wt nice thick foam and sprinkle of cocao! On my next visit, will try some of the beautiful cakes. Never miss this cafe if ur in Luton.

Very nice service. A good roll with lots of ingredients. A large coffee is a really large coffee. A large selection of rolls, panini and pastries. I recommend it ☺️

Smaczek cafe is a fantastic cafe with great food and coffee but one employ called nicole is very rude and takes a very long time to prepare my order and also very rude again

Very nice staff and always willing to help, especially Mrs. Beatka, who advised me on choosing a cake. I am a frequent guest with my daughter who is allergic and with the help of the staff we can always try something different. Thank you Cafe Smaczek

The worst place ever!!!!! Do not go! I’m surprised this place hasn’t shut down yet. All the staff are extremely rude and racist. They do not have any customer service skills and they lack basic manners. I’ve read some reviews about a young polish girl who is rude to everyone and is causing the cafe to lose customers, well they have lost another customer now. I went here a number of times because I liked their warm drinks but no they always ruin my mood and make me feel bad. This morning I ordered a cheese and tomato roll and a pumpkin latte. She gave me a ham and cheese roll instead and I said to her “sorry but can I have the cheese and tomato roll please as that’s the one I ordered” she literally got angry with me and said “that’s not ham it’s bacon, learn the difference”! There was no reason to say that all she had todo was give me a different roll as I’m vegetarian but instead she decided to be rude to me, every single customer there she was ruining their morning too by being rude and disrespectful and causing everyone to be in a bad mood. I will not be going to this place ever again. I don’t know her name or the other staff as they don’t have name badges but another customer posted a photo of this extremely rude staff and I have attached the same photo so everyone knows to avoid her and this place. The rest of the staff are just as bad. Thanks for ruining my morning and making me Feel worse when I am already going through depression. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind!!!

This worker is very rude and very unhelpful… this is the second time. I been there same lady serve me exactly how she is the 1st time … rude !

Very nice atmosphere and good variety of food, cheese cake in particular was very soft, fluffy which just melts into my mouth. I love it a lot.

I was recommended this place and I was really looking forward to it based on the information provided by a friend, as I went to place my order with my family the lady who took my order was incredibly rude dismissive this impacted on our experience although the restaurant it’s self looks decent unfortunately that specific worker requires costumer service training and manners(and needs to learn to blend contour).

Cafe Smaczek is a place that definitely deserves recognition! It's been a long time since I have seen such service that treats the customer so warmly and professionally. I ordered donuts and various sweets for my company for 30 people (for 2 days) and initially I was afraid that it would be problematic because I did not find a delivery option in the price list. However, Mrs. Beata showed extraordinary initiative. She took care of everything with great commitment, thanks to which we not only received the ordered sweets on time, but they were also simply delicious! I fully recommend Cafe Smaczek! Thank you once again to Mrs. Beata for such great service and we will definitely use this delivery option to our company again :) (I will add that everything was beautifully packed!)

Amazing food and drinks but few of the stuff very rude and worst service ever!!!!! Especially one young Polish lady!

The staff seemed quite rude and really need to work on improving customer service. When I asked for a slice of chocolate cake, I was initially served the only slice which had no topping on it. When I requested a different slice, I was told that it's all the same and I should have asked first, although they did give me a different slice. So, also, when I requested two extra spoons (as I wanted to share with my parents), I was told quite curtly that they only give one per serving and we were just given a single additional spoon. This makes an otherwise good cafe feel so hostile and unwelcoming :(

This place has very good selection of the cakes and food. Place is very nice and clean. Absolutely love it.

Very nice staff who heated the baby food for us. Tasty soup. I've liked the possibility to create my own salad. Great choice of desserts, although I haven't tried any. Spacious, in a central but quiet location.

Nice coffee shop with a large choice of cakes and some hot food too. Very reasonably priced.

Quick visit for some healthy snacks and Oshee kiwi and Lime for my running. Easy to get round and good service. Always happy with the quality of products in store.

Expected more, the food looked good enough but when came to eating it, it was not! it was cold, had no taste and seemed undercooked.

Very good coffee and comfortable chairs

Female employees treat tourists poorly and are rude! The cake tastes bad and it looks as if it was made a week ago 😷 Only the ice cream tastes delicious and the latte tastes good. The rest is very bad.

They serve the most delicious, velvety smooth, creamy latte with just the right balance of rich espresso and frothy, steamed milk, and they're known for their generosity too! They gave a free slice of cake to their customers. It's like a little sweet treat to go with your coffee.

Unfortunately, I am disappointed after today's visit. I ordered dumplings and borscht Dumplings 5/10. the borscht was instant- Terrible! The customer service leaves much to be desired.

Super Café und Kuchen (extrem gut, aus polnischer Küche nach Originalrezept), total lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch der Café war sehr gut. Es gibt dort auch überbackene Brote als Snack zwischendurch. Komme gerne wieder.

Used to be good. New girl has very bad customer skills, doesn't want to sell a cake slice I always get And she wants me to go grab the water. No tiramisu, no chocolate ice cream, no vanilla ice cream.
