Southern Fried Chicken in Rhondda Cynon Taf

This used to be my favourite takeaway restaurant in Aberdare. The food was incredible, delivery was quick and the staff were friendly. Things have changed. Big time. On more than one occasiom recently, I have ordered food here and been left feeling insulted and angry by the ridiculous attitude of the staff. Its bad enough that I have had to chase the orders up because of the long wait (1.5 hours plus). Then, being spoken to like a child by the aggressive, rude staff is unnecessary and unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. The food is reasonable if it ever gets to you. The service is horrendous and has gone down hill dramatically in the last year or so. Terrible

Bought 2 10" pizza and 1 small chips and it cost £24.20. In every kebab shop in aberdare we have never paid more than £15 for that. We ordered calzhoni pizza but it came back a normal pizza. Fair to say I wont be going back and paying nearly £10 more than other shops

Enjoyed a rather decent takeaway kebab here after a boozy night out. Even enjoyed the remains of the kebab being warmed up the day after. There are much worse kebab shops in aberdare.

Dry, overcooked fast food. Greasy and the place is filthy. I will not go there again. It might be ok if you are getting a meal on the way home from a boozy night out, but not if you want to enjoy a nice meal.

We didn't have a free bottle of pop when we asked driver he said idk we spent £26 so we should of had a free bottle not happy!!! Bad customer service

cold food, 30 minuets late, rude staff when phoned, portions very small, delivery driver argued that we didn’t order a pizza until he checked receipt then said “what here I go get” an it was in his car

chips like rubber salad gone off black on most of it chicken burger not cooked absolutely disgusting will not order from here again wouldn't advise anyone to go there

Late delivery for first time in a long time. Kebab meat and chips both luke warm. Same for my brothers hot wings and chips. Must have been a busy night. Will still order from here though. They do the best pizzas in Aberdare.

Great food but came to early wifes food went cold while putting the boys to bed as they need her to sit with them while they go to sleep

My kebab went straight in the bin the chicken was horrible ate one chunk and that was it.

The cake was hard and not very fresh

ASKED FOR NO TOMATOES ON WRAP BUT GUESS WHAT???? TOMATOES!! ABYSMAL!

What can I say good food ordered a pizza and got three. The kebabs were really good too.

They do not read the comments I can't eat or have my food around pitta bread so it went in the bin it was late to ring back.food looked burnt anyway.i asked no drumstick they give me 2 so they was wasted.what a waste of 17 pound will not order again

We have pizza and chips from here once or twice a week, both are lovely and good price. The staff are helpful as well.

Delivered a little too early but otherwise awesome food!

Never in 2 years had issues with these guys, try end up being my go to takeaway when needed, good food, always arrives hot, on time or early. Good value for money especially their meal deals. Highly recommended.

I regularly order from here and the food is always perfect! Tonight they brought me the wrong drink but without me even ringing them they came back with the correct drink, outstanding!

It was 40 mns late my daughter's food didn't have any salad on and my lamb was very tough so was very disappointed to be honest

I ordered garlic bread and didn't get delivered and I payed for it

ordered chicken kabab with salad and bbq sauce , i asked for added garlic sauce as well . i give 80p tip to pay for the extra garlic sauce , i didn't get BBQ or garlic sauce. also no onions in the salad . worst kabbab ever

disgusting food veg tasted pickled . mayo tasted like pepper corn sauce and meat was also very low standard never again will i waste my money here .

There was a lovely amount of toppings and cheese on the pizza. However, the pizza wasn't in the oven long enough. The dough underneath was hardly cooked which made it very slimy and sickly. I left the pizza after eating one slice.

Great, but you left a pizza that wasn't mine! And I just missed your driver when I came back out to stop him!

Ordered food at 10 to 8 it arrived at 9:30! Had to phone 3 times it didn't taste as nice.

Order food and not all turns up phone shop and can bothered with paying customers NOW I EAT AT Turkish delight

Pitta bread over cooked rock hard couldnt be eaten

They accidentally sent a quarter pounder instead of a half pounder, and even though I couldn't ring for over half an hour thanks to a crying baby, they still sent out the missing burger, and quickly too :)

Once again missing items. Nothing major aa it was only a can BUT to have the delivery guy on my doorstep insisting that the order was right despite having the proof on Just Eat App well well. Also if i order Coca Cola i do not expect Pepsi they are not the same thing.

Order was on time but delivery driver said I'm just popping to the car to get you pop he then drove off and didn't come back for 45 minutes

I was a customer to southern fried chicken 1-3 times a week but it's the second time my food has come and not got the right stuff and when I phoned the attitude I had off the boss was disgusting

The order was wrong I had no credit to ring back . I ordered 2 kids kebabs they brought me 2 kids kebab meats and chips this was not what I ordered

Haven't eat ere for at least 5 years so tried it again and was shocked how good it was .could do with more chicken on the mix kebab.bbq sauce was lovely and the hot wings were stunning food was very warm and on time

Probably the worst takeaway I have ever experienced. We found several hairs in the chicken Shish kebab and are now both suffering with upset stomachs.

My meal was absolutely disgusting. To start with the cheese on my chips weren't even melted, that put me off eating the other parts of the order. Absolutely disgusting, won't be ordering from them again. Looking at the high delivery time, they're motto is probably "take there money and run!"

Me my wife and daughter had pizza and chips, they were lovely, delivered within half an hour, pipping hot, went down a treat.

I specifically asked for small amount of cheese on one pizza and it came with a large amount covering the pizza I spent 10 minutes picking the cheese off and then it was cold

Says leave note for the restraunt and i tell them what i want and they don't add stuff or get it wrong, second time this has happened while ordering online.

As always great food. Great portions. Fast delivery. Not something we order often but always our choice if we do order food. Definitely try these guys. Their Garlic Bread and Cheese is fantastic too

Every time I order from Southern Fried Chicken it's excellent food and brilliant service. I've never had a negative word to say about this establishment.

Just had yet another takeaway from here and yet again did not disappoint. ..really tasty food at good prices and also home delivery...bonus highly recommend

Food was horrible wouldnt recomend as the chicken wings put me off the whole meal dry burnt as were heated in microwave and were like yesterdays chicken were absolutly disgusting... and the chicken donner was foul rotten experience with the food here...
